Description

Marco is classified as a sea beast. He is humanoid from the waist up, however he caries the tail of a serpent from the waist down. His head resembles a alligator with vicious, white teeth. His eyes resemble reptiles, but they are slightly round rather than silted; with eyes as yellow as the sun.
He has a naturally heavy build with the strength to match it. Light blue scales cover his entire body; some damaged from encounters. He is about 550 lbs. (250 kg.) with a 6 foot long tail. His main body is about 4 feet with a total length of 10 feet. He has a thin dorsal fin that extends from the back of his neck to the tip of his tail.
Marco does have lungs and gills, however he does struggle switching between them. On land he slithers across the ground with his body upright. He does hunch over to support his body weight.

Personality

A lot of beings would describe him as a beast. Considering he has never cared about laws, people, and other ideas of society. However, he has reasoning and feelings.
He is not a very friendly person on the outside. He tends to be cautious about new people and only attacking if they are hostile toward him. Inside, however, he has a deep love for beautiful scenery. Plus he is very lonely; failing to find someone like himself.
He is slightly educated in English, and he does think through his actions. So he isn't dumb muscle, however, he is easily angered.

Equipment

He doesn't carry any define equipment. He will wear items of sentimental value though.

History

Like many beasts, Marco was born into the wild alone; mostly relying on instinct to survive. He did notice he wasn't an animal when he loved the color of the coral reefs.
His first encounter with humans occurred about 15 years after he hatched. A wooden ship skimmed the surface of the deep blue water. In a instant, iron harpoons whizzed through the water. Their target was the unknown delicacy called Marco. He took a hit in the arm, however he escaped with his life.
Ever since then he has studied the creatures that attacked him; mostly an understanding of his enemy. Secretly, he does look for an explanation of why the attack occurred.
The biggest mistake he made was accidentally sinking a ship. When the humans started to hunt him, he rose above water and punched the ship in frustration. Not knowing his strength, he left a gaping hole, sinking the ship in minutes.
The survivors eventually made their way back to shore; spilling a story that created a bounty on him and the acclaimed name: "Doomshadow." Now more people seek out Marco than ever before.
He currently wanders the ocean, looking for others like him. However, he has failed so far.
