A 16th Century Mortal in a dizzying world of Immortals
Calm and dutiful, she does not often cause trouble. This is not to say she does not have a spark of her own; however, her gentle nature does turn more towards the polite side rather than the rude or aggressive one. Often smiling, she is a bouncy, spring-filled creature with hardly a harsh word or frown for anyone.
Although not the sort for weapons, the Mortal does often have a small bag she carries about for use of small rags, washes, and other cleaning or personal materials.
Born in the city of Rouen in the mid 16th century, the young woman was born poor, a servant class. Living with her mother and various siblings, she resided in a cottage with every small necessity she might wish for. A bed, proper nourishment, and a loving family is all a young girl should want. At the age of 11 her family found true poverty. Mother losing her wages under the Lord of the land, and--without a father present in her life to support the family--her family was thrown to the streets. In order to aid the family, there was no other choice for the little woman and she was sold to a wealthy Lord by the name of De Moulins.
Serving him for eight years, she was used for every futile task De Moulins desired her to complete. Eventually, she was sold along her way to the royal courts of the Immortals due to De Moulins’ many gambling debts in the small towns across Northern France.
