At first glance she appears to be a very large, very long, snake like fox. Her body swims through the air like an eel, and she often levitates above the ground instead of using the short, foxy paws. The spirit's fluid body is covered with soft, thick fur, which grows longer and even more lush on her ivory chest and tail. Two whiskers, typical of oriental dragons, fall from her slender snout and trail behind, and they seem to drift as if they were in water. The tips of her small, two-pronged antlers nearly seem to touch the clouds when she reaches her fox-like head to the sky, yet in spite of her immense size she is not intimidating, for she has the gaze of a loving mother. (technically she normally stands at around the height of an average tree) She has two snake like fangs and a forked tongue. Her almond eyes have no visible pupils, and they change in color according to whatever element she is using (i.e.- blue tint with water, grey with wind, green with earth, and almost red with fire). Sometimes she will assume the form of a small fox or bird. Here is an unfinished painting I'm working on...
In ages past, when the earth was formed from the primordial ooze floating about the vast vacuum of nothingness, Ryushinki was born. A fetus within the deep places of the earth, and she is its soulβ¦Or so say the tongues of men. Not even she knows how she began. She only knows that she obtained consciousness when creatures first began to walk the earth, and she grew along with it, learning, seeing, and shaping the clay as she played in her innocence. Now she is wise with the many years that have passed, and she lives to protect and teach the young, and she defends her home and her children fiercely.
