"Aaah! I was about to go all sisterly on you... whatever that means! I'm not really even sure. But, I guess if you'd keep an ear out for her, I'd appreciate it. I don't need to worry about her generally because she's a fighter, but if she's drunk and with a guy, then bad things might be happening. It's not exactly safe around here, right?"
"Why would keeping the Gambit's line going be a bad thing?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. "I mean, even assassins have to have family." That fell under 'don't take anything I say seriously' for reasons he didn't have time to explain.

"I'm really starting to believe you after all the craziness I've seen just tonight. "I understand fully. I don't plan on going anywhere alone and when I go down to the bar, I'll sit with my back against the wall. I'm not going to let an assassin take me out when I have a lot to live for. Plus, my sister and dad would be super sad and I don't want to make anyone sad, not for anything in the world. I can be pretty surprising when I'm on my game."

I also have a few other unnatural powers, one of which being the same powers my father and sister have, but to a much lesser degree, but I don't like using it. I really don't like using the other one either, but, I will if needed."
"Aw, for real? Powers are badass. I wouldn't be half the extremely obviously loud ninja I am if I didn't have superpowers." He folded his arms in front of his chest and sat on the edge of her bed. "But hey, to each their own. We can spend some time at the shooting range."
"I'd like that. I'm a good shot, but not when there's a lot of distance involved. I've seen my powers hurt other people when the user has lost control and I don't want that to happen to me. I've never really had a reason to use the powers because where I'm at isn't really dangerous enough to warrant their use. The swords and gun? Sure, they're usually useful, but I've only used my gun three times and my swords twice."
"That's cute," he said, "Now I really want to pat you on the head. You won't be able to control those powers for ages. I mean, do try to control them. That's what you're meant to do. But don't be too upset if you fail. That's... Life."
He sighed. "I'ma get going. But I'll be around kid."

"Aye, that I know. I just hope when I lose control no one ends up dying. That's like, my worst nightmare and I'd never forgive myself if that happened. Unless it was some jerk trying to hurt me or my family." Nodding as he said he'd be around, she slid up to her feet to walk him to her door so she could lock it immediately behind him.

When she approached he suddenly moved away to keep three feet between the two of them. Then blinked. "Um, sorry. Instinct. habit." He shuffled back towards the door.
"They're good instincts." Reaching around him to open up the door, she made sure to keep her distance, glancing out into the hallway briefly before stepping back out of the way.
Norrington stepped out into the hallway and waited for the door to close to think, "What the fuck was that?"
Gabrielle LeBeau closed the door behind him, locking it up nice and tight before retreating back to her bed. She decided to sleep in the corset to make sure she was protected and curled up beneath the cover, softly crying once again. She really hoped her sister came around sooner than later because she needed her big sister. At least Norrington was around and that made her feel a smidge better.
