The houses here are well kept and display the best of Lutetia's architecture, both modern and historical. Most of the houses have a less gothic touch here than the rest of the city, but it is still strongly Lutetian, if more Evequec flavored. The neighborhoods in Luskonios feel very safe, and there's less crime here than most others.

Luskonios is home to many wealthy families that date back to the early construction of the city, and much of the wealth to be found within this neighborhood is rooted in old money.

"Should it?" She grinned, her eyes full of mischievous light.

She took the new glass of wine and swirled it around. She use to love red wines, until the color reminded her of the bloody night nearly a decade ago. And now it seemed it didn't bother her so much anymore.

She kept quiet though, as if her question was her question and answer to him.

He seemed pleased by the turn of events and her change of mood. "I hope not but there is a fine line between pleasure and pain. We shall see." The waiter returned carrying their meals. Some quick work and the table was put in order and the entree were set in front of each of them.

In front of Chloe was sat the Tournedos Rossini that he had ordered for her. It was a petite seared filet mignon topped with foie gras, shallots, port and red wine truffles sauce. The plate the waiter put in front of him was the Kassulet Toulousain De La Maison, cannellini beans, carrots, tomato, garlic duck confit, slab bacon and pork sausage all braised with noble duck fat, quails stock and foie gras jus. Everything looked delicious and the waiter ask them each to enjoy their meal before he left.

Bowen smiled across the table. "I am willing to share if you are. Please eat. I know you are hungry and 'I' need you to be strong. You can't do that if you wilt away."

Bowen had once again pegged her. She was always ravenous. With daily transformations, she usually had to eat quite a bit to keep with the demand. And she had barely touched any of the food offered to her so far. Still, she contained the urge to dig in bare handed and smiled at him.

"Very well, Mr. Davion." She said quietly. Taking the silverware, she tucked into her dish, reminding herself not to pig out.

By the time she was done, she had nearly cleared as much as he did, bound and determined to stop when he did. She knew she would never gain an ounce of weight, but still her womanly instincts had always kicked in about her figure.

"So one last question, if I may..?" She asked. "I basically came out of the blue, and you hired me on. First day, I ask you on a date, and you accept.. You've pretty much said you're okay with my past and now.. What is it you want to do?" She asked. "You've surprised me that you've not gone to the bathroom and left me the check."

He just smiled. "For now, while your with me I want you to enjoy yourself. I want you to eat, let me pay the bill, and ride on the back of my bike as we head back to the office. Once you get there I want you to work hard on trying to find the person responsible for the supernatural killings. Play hard and work hard Ms. Sandara. Remember that my door is always open, day or night.", he said with deadly seriousness.

"To leave you here alone would hardly be knightly Ms. Sandara." He finished his meal, too stuffed for desert. He handed the waiter some money after pulling it from his wallet. "Don't worry about the change and please tell Chief Desvignes that he has my thanks. The meal was lovely as always."

He would end up escorting her out and they would end up back on his bike, driving back to the office.

Chandler eased off the gas as the approached the wrought iron gate that hung open. This was the main entrance into the Giles Estate. An artfully crafted 'G' was cut in half but would have been displayed if the gate had been closed. Chandler shivered as they crossed the threshold provided by the stone wall and gate and crept down the drive, briefly turning to Claire.

The estate was overgrown. Thorny vines and brown dead looking overgrowth choked the lawn and the multitude of miniature statues there. A fountain sat in the middle of the circular drive surrounded by small statues, cherubs wielding bows and worn by neglect and the weather. The sky was blue and the mansion looming ahead and now to their right as the circled the drive was tremendous but did not appear to be threatening or malevolent in this bright sunny weather.

Chandler stopped the car and exited. "I'm not liking the feel of this...", he said as if to himself, as if he were in a trance. He moved to the trunk to get the shot guns and other supplies.

Claire's hairs stood on end as soon as as they passed through the gate, her eyes shifting to blood red instantly. The manor looked to have once been a grand estate, but now with years of neglect it has turned into a real mess. The red brick was barely visible through the undergrowth of dead vines and plants, but the roof at least seemed mostly intact. It would seem harmless enough except for possibly needing to be condemned because of the inside.

But what worried Claire the most, was the lack of a sign of squatters. A fancy house like this was big enough to hide a few people, even in this part of the city. But the recent signs that she could see was the tracks from the Giles man and their own. The rest were too old to date.

She slowly exited the car, the worry lines between her brow again. "I have a feeling that doesn't like us either.." She muttered to Chandler. She was not sensitive to the dead like Chandler was, but she could feel the darkness that loomed here. "Any initial thoughts so far..?" She moved to the trunk to also, waiting to be handed something she could use. Her pistols wouldn't do any good here.

"Also, stick close to me, alright? No splitting up this time.." She murmured. She wasn't afraid for herself, but for him. "I don't like this either." She muttered, gazing at him with her red hues.

He took the box out of the trunk and placed it on the ground before he withdrew two pump action combat shotguns. He passed one to her and then started to load his weapon with the shells they had gotten at the Cauldron. "Nothing concrete so far. Just the feeling we are being watched and that we are not welcome." His head turn quickly and he glanced at the second story windows at the front of the house. He shivered and then shook his head, shouldered the weapon, and then picked up the box of supplies. "Thought I saw something move by a window..."

He pulled a knife from his belt and fished some rope out of the truck. He cut a section of rope about twenty feet long and tied one end around his waist. "Tie this around your waist.", he said and handed her the other end. He put the rest of the rope on top of the box, replaced his knife, and picked up the supplies. His head turned to the door which was a grand double door with one side having a large glass pane. None of the windows were broken out and this particular panel on the door was artfully crafted and displayed a 'G' like the one on the gate.

He opened the door and in they walked. This was a great room with two staircases leading up to the second level at each of the far corners and moving to the center of a balcony situated on the second level. At either side were openings to go into sitting rooms and to the front was a rather large fireplace. Dust covered everything but the place did not appear to be damaged. The furniture was all intact but all very old. The door hung upon behind them, sunlight streaming in and across the dusty white marble of the floor.

Claire took the gun with expert ease and loaded it as well. She smirked slightly at the rope though, but didn't hesitate to do what he asked her to do, tying the rope around her waist with a firm and secure knot.

When they walked towards the doors, she glanced up towards the second floor window and shook her head. This had 'bad idea' written all over. With red ink.

They entered the house with no problems, it seemed. She took in a deep breath, her red eyes glowing in the darkness. All she smelled was 'old'. Dust swirled about her feet as she gracefully moved, not making a sound on the marble floor. Her jaw clenched at the unease she felt about this place. It was a dark feeling. And that was something, coming from a creature of the darkness.

She followed Chandler around, not having much choice with them being tired together. "This place looks as though they just.. Up and left." She whispered. "Wonder what the story is behind that.." She looked to the side swiftly, shadows playing tricks on her.

"I don't smell those kids though.." She murmured. "Not yet, at least.."
