Arvai had no questions. He heard about this from Alessia the last time he was here. "No questions," he muttered as he saw the candy store.

That brought back a memory; chipping a tooth on a hard candy. He walked inside, and wondered what kind of candy he should get. For the fun of it, he bought the same candy he bought a couple years ago. "Charlotte, you should try these. They taste...pleasant," he said to Charlottee.

Waiting for a reply, Arvai's thoughts wandered off; Candy, girls, friends, family...words of common use of people from around the world.

Florencia was completely lost inside the candy store. Everything was bright, shiny, and NEW. Florencia never knew that so many variations of candy existed. In fact, the only candy Florencia ever had was chocolate. She had only tasted it during her crowning ceremony, which was a couple days ago.

As Florencia looked, she took from all the free samples she could get. Each new candy was better than the last, and soon, Florencia was able to recognize more and more of the candies on the shelves.

Unsure of what to get, Florencia walked up to Ethan and asked, "So Ethan, what's your favorite candy out of all the ones you see?"

"Lessa! How are you?" The candy maker said. "I just made a fresh batch of your favorite sour candies." He handed Alessia one of the blue colored candies. As Alessia stuck it in her mouth, she felt the tingling fruity sourness on her tongue. "Its as good as always." Alessia said. Suddenly a demon maid appeared: "Mistress, I have come to check on you to see if your guests are having fun. It has sort of gotten bored in the castle." "Don't worry. If you feel bored, then there is ale in the kitchen. Just be sure to be sober by supper time." Alessia said. She then turned to these others: "Ah yes. I still need to tell you that I normally don't have servants. I summoned these demons to be servants for the weekend." Suddenly a nervous laugh came from the candy maker: "Ahhh. Yehehesss. That's right your a witch. At least you aren't a bad one." Alessia as a person was a blessing for the people of Silvania, but as soon as they heard witch or demon, a chill ran down their spines for an unknown reason.

Long ago as Silvania was ruled by the tyrant step-mother of Alessia, Alessia had stayed as the apprentice of the necromant Vilrich. He wasn't exactly an evil necromant, but wouldn't hesitate to kill if he had to. Vilrich preferred to stay away from town and only go there to the pub. No one knew who Vilrich was until one fateful day as foreign troops invaded. They pillaged the villages and burned people they suspected of witchcraft, but then Vilrich came and showed them what real sorcery was. He summoned demons that killed the occupants and soldiers died in horrible ways, scarring the minds of the people of Silvania to never anger him and eventually his apprentice Alessia. Years later, Vilrich decided that his time had come and passed on some of his power, including the blood pact with the demons to Alessia who would later become the protector and ruler of Silvania.

The appearance of the demon caught Florencia off guard, and she almost jumped.
They talked a little, and Alessia finally said,
"Ah yes. I still need to tell you that I normally don't have servants. I summoned these demons to be servants for the weekend."

Florencia became suddenly worried. Elvin myths portrayed demons as being ruthless creatures with an appetite for destruction. Then again, if the demons were helping Alessia and not hurting her, then maybe the myths were just myths.

Florencia then realized that Alessia had summoned the demons herself. Just as Florencia thought about magic, the candy maker said in a nervous way,"Ahhh. Yehehesss. That's right your a witch. At least you aren't a bad one."

This made Florencia increasingly nervous. She thought in Silvania, she would finally be able to practice her magic freely. She didn't know that people would be scared of magic, just like in Famaliana.

Fearful, Florencia quietly went up to Alessia and whispered
"Alessia, is it okay to use magic in Silvania?"

"Alessia, is it okay to use magic in Silvania?" Florencia had asked. Alessia then answered: "Magic is fine, some people get a bit nervous due to the past though." One man who had followed them from the market, who was curious about the guests then whispered to Florencia: "Now one here talks about it but Alessia was the apprentice of a powerful master of the dark arts. When invaders attacked and burned people they accused of sorcery, Vilrich the sorcerer painted Silvania red with the blood of the invaders with the same demons Alessia summons today." It sounded scary but then again the man was one of those people who would spread folk myths just to scare children.
