Paper, a mile high, nearly overwhelmed Joshua every day since the apologies were sent out last week. Employees, doctors, even lawyers were running in and out of his office, complaining, demanding, threatening him for this and that. The blame of the recent crashes rested solely on an expert hacker who used to be an employee of the company, and was reported to have been torn apart by his fanatics. He was quite in shock when his 'followers' began to auction off the head of the hacker, and was in even more shock when he saw the bids climb to more than fifteen million dollars. What was even more interesting, was the fact that his own assistant bought it for close to thirty million. When asked how she acquired that sort of money, she glared up at him and said, "This isn't my only job, you know," and left it at that.

Sighing heavily at the new mess in front of him, and the new lawyer that walked in the door, he wondered what will happen to the game as a whole. "Mr. Michaels," the lawyer began, but before he could finish, the door to his office banged open, and a young man in a dark leather suit stormed in. Another fanatic, his mind drawled, and rose to greet him. His eyes widened, as did the lawyer, when the man pulled out a small nine milometer pistol on him and fire several shots. Two bullets grazed his right cheek before he ducked behind his desk. Unfortunately, the lawyer received several bullets to the chest, before collapsing to the ground. Alarms began to sound as he hit the small red button underneath his desk, and heard the hidden doors from either side of him open up. Feet and loud voices erupted, ordering the young man to drop the weapon, or be shot dead. The man yelled on about the Developer killing his younger sister, and wanted him dead. He heard a shot, and saw a bullet hole appear in front of his noes, then heard more shots, and metal striking meat. The body fell to the floor in a pool of red blood, and an arm appeared in front of him, gripping his own arm, and hauling him out from under the desk.

"Sir," he was greeted with several of his guards, each wearing their own special uniforms and masks, along with a variety of weapons on his person, "Sir, are you alright?" Joshua's head nodded slowly, "I think he's in shock. Lets get him to the medic's office." There was a pause in the guards' voice, as his head and eyes drifted over the bodies of the mystery man and lawyer, "Lets find someone to clean this mess up," his hand waved at the two bodies, "and lets get our Developer checked out, shall we?"

Naomi sighed as her head leaned against the cool glass of a hotel window her hair forming a sleepy halo around her face. How long had the game masters been at this? She looked from the table she was sitting at to the calendar sitting by her bed and suitcase. It was close to a week and a half. Photo shoots for posters, smiling for holograms, live and in game performances, what hadn't they done yet and was there any place they hadn't visited already? Turning in her pajamas to her complimentary breakfast she knew she wasn't cut out for this, it was barely eleven in the morning, a time that she was now used to getting up at and would've before cringed before at the thought of being up at. Well at least it was the weekend though so she had a day off. The PR tour was almost over too, a feeling of relief washed over her at the thought of being able to hide under her warm comforter in the staff apartments again and then just go work on some new music and forget about this whole fiasco the company was in.

"Hacker case my butt," She mumbled as she ate the last of her toast and eggs and crawled back into bed, the legal contracts they had all signed were way too big to be anything like that and all the GM's knew the real story. The fact that the system was collapsing on itself from overuse was just a matter of fact. After all those free samples of the game went out it seemed like everyone was a v-addict. "Speaking of which." reaching to the bedside table next to her she grabbed a v-game headset and placed it on top of head "System, initiate log on sequence for Halo, Password: set me free, location O'ruul"

Finding herself admiring the tall glass panels which reflected the sunlight off of O'ruul's skyscrapers Halo grabbed her hoverboard which was beside her and looked over the edge of the floating city a knot forming in her stomach, no matter how many times she did that she always seemed to get vertigo. What was about to happen next though was nothing compared to it though. "1...2...3!" Leaping off of the precipice and into the emptiness below Halo caught herself in a momentary free fall before catching herself on her hoverboard and swiftly maneuvering upwards back above the City once more. "Woo!" Feeling the rush of adrenaline hitting her veins as she looked down below at the players below and laughed at how small everyone looked, they were almost like ants. Stretching as she flew along and began doing some warmup tricks she decided that this must be one of the best ways to wake up in the morning.
