Kenny Ichigoru's Story

Takano went over to sit next to him, sheets in tow. Saonji didn't change his face even if he couldn't feed Ichigoru. He couldn't let Ichigoru do something based off his niceness. Ichigoru was just the kind of person to want his friends to be happy.

"Ok, on this last page I want Tsena to realize his feelings for Shouko and kiss her but I don't know if I should leave the readers waiting and just put the moments leading up or just put the confession in this one." Takano explained to Ichigoru.

As Takano explained the scene Saonji looked down at the background he was doing. It was done but.... the plot reminded him of something. What....what... Ah~ Maybe it's us, with added drama. In this entire series Tsena has been completely unaware of the extent of the girls feelings and the girls end up fighting constantly over his attention. Shouko is calm, nice and restrained while Seika goes on impulse and gets angry quickly.

Saonji sipped his tea delicately. Does that mean I'm Shouko and he's Seika? Seika does get more romantic moments with Tsena due to her being a bit more forceful and confident. But... in real life... I suppose that wouldn't work. We're both men. There's nothing more to it than that. Even so..

"Why not leave them guessing for the next series. It will bring more viewers to read the next script." Kenny smiled putting the sheet down and getting up once he finished the bowl of soup quickly.

He coughed softly while walking over to the skin washing his bowl. "How much more was left to do now?" He looked over at them while drying his hands off and going back to his spot in the middle of the two.

Clicking his tongue as he thought while looking at each page carefully. He rolled his tongue ring over his lips once in a while, whenever he was deep in thought, thinking about the book as he edit it.

A knock at the door broke Kenny from his thoughts and he looked over at Hiroki. "A guest this early?"

Takano nodded at Ichigoru's suggestion, beginning to draw the scene while he was talking. This is impossible- I'm actually going to be early on turning this in.

Saonji worked delicately on the background- He stopped thinking about the plot. There was no way that Takano had these three in mind while writing it. If he did there was no chance of Takano making Saonji and Ichigoru get together.

They were both interrupted by the knock on the door. "Get it Ichigoru. If I work this might get done early." Takano sighed. "You know If Takano stops working he'll never get this done." Saonji said truthfully. Truth or not, however, Takano still wanted to injure him.

Kenny nodded and got up to his feet again. He slowly opened the door and the delivery guy was there. "I got a few orders in. I went to the studio but they told me to come here. We got the art tables you asked for, left them there, but we have the art supplies and paper, if you'll just sign here and I will go get them."

"Oh! Finally!" Kenny signed quickly and shouted over at the boys. "The newer tables came in and some more supplies. Came just in time too." He smiled looking over at them leaving the door open for the delivery guy to leave it by the door.

He waited until the guy was done before jumping in and opening the boxes making sure all ways there. They got new pins and supplies, just what they needed, the old ones were just getting in bad shape. "I been saving my money to get this, I know how much we needed it all. So I did my best."

giggling softly Kenny pulled out two refillable ink pins that had both their names on each pin. "i got you two something, I thought it would be a good idea. All you need to do is buy ink each time it runs out. It's your own pins."

"Saving..." Takano immediately felt bad. He knew very well he made alot more than Ichigoru. But Ichigoru was just like that he had to look out for other people. Takano sometimes wished Ichigoru would just let Takano take care of him.

"You didn't have to- you could of just warned us." Saonji said, he didn't get paid all that much either but he still felt bad. He didn't want Ichigoru going out of his way or anything.

Takano was immediately fed up with Saonji's soft response. "Ichigoru!", Takano said sharply, "Thank you. But stop trying to look out for everybody except yourself! You don't need to think about us before you! I'm here for you so you don't need to worry so much!"

After realizing his words he looked off to the side and rushed and added, "Saonji is too."

Surprise at the sudden outburst, Kenny bit his lip feeling a sharp pain in his chest after hearing those words. Biting his lip he smiled softly, hiding his emotions. "Ok Hiroki, I understand."

He started to feel more like a burden than anything at this point. The fact he liked doing all these things he never would have thought it would cause so much trouble for them, than it did help anyone. Kenny pulled out his phone from his pocket pretending it vibrated. He opened it and looked at his texts. "I have to go. It's about my boxes that the land lord has be getting on my case about. I better move them before I get kicked out."

Quickly before they could say anything at all, he got his shoes on fast and his coat, shutting the door and took off running. Without stopping the whole way he got to the bus stop. His hurt was pounding and felt like it was going to burst. Even though what Hiroki said was for the best, it still felt bad hearing it.

"So that's how they felt." He stated with a sigh. 'Just in the way more than I thought.' Taking the time he looked at his phone turning it off. When the train arrived he got on it, heading back to his place. Not like he lied to the two, it was true that he had to move the boxes, but it wasn't the full truth. He didn't want to end up crying in front of them or showing them anything other than a smile.

Before he could stop thinking the tears came without warning and they wouldn't stop. Using his sleeves to try and stop it, they just kept coming like a broken sink faucet. He heard that his bus stop had arrived at his stop, when he got off the bus he nearly slipped into the stop sign, but caught himself, just inches before crashing.

A sigh of relief hit him. "That was close." Looking around hoping no one saw he took off and ran to his apartment. There was still a lot to do, but he wasn't in the mood for it. He took the time though to lock the door and find his DVD player and movies. Taking off his coat and shoes he sat down on his bed curling up into the blankets. Flipping the TV on and switching the DVD into play mode, he stared at the TV like a mindless Zombie. He didn't want to take the time to think about thing, so he tried to focus on the movie, but found it hard to.

Huffing Takano stopped, just missing the train. He didn't at all know what was wrong. Maybe it was because he raised his voice? Maybe he was to harsh? Maybe...

Takano flipped open his phone and texted Ichigoru 'I'm coming over.' He needed to apologize, do something. He didn't bother with the train and simply called a taxi.

Was it because I didn't want him to buy us things? I only want him to take care of himself. I don't want him to have extra worries. This is so troublesome. I can't apologize if I don't know why he ran off. All I know is that face..... the boxes was a excuse. Shit. I'll be at his house soon enough anyways.

Thinking back on their past... Ichigoru never lied to him. Not once. Takano hated making him lie. If it was a lie at all. All of this only made things more confusing. Hurting someone he loved was unacceptable.

At the doorstep of Ichigoru's house he stood there for a while. He wondered if he should offer to help with the boxes or apologize first. Knocking, he simply decided to say what he felt- just leaving out the madly in love part.

Kenny go up, he couldn't focus on the movie and more and just decided to do what he told Hiroki and Saionji that he would do. He didn't want to feel as if he lied. He looked around for more things that he could pack into a box. "The move day is tomorrow. I gotta get this done." He talked to himself as he started to pack up the last of his things, putting everything he was using onto one box. Now all that was left was to move everything out of here.

He pushed through his sickness and moved all the boxes near the door, only leaving enough room to walk through. The sound of the door knocking startled him. He couldn't think of who it could be. Hesitating he slowly opened the door and peeked through the crack. "Hiroki? What are you doing here?"

He hasn't told Hiroki or Saionji that he was moving, just mentioned boxes, he forgot to bring it up in a conversation, but after today he didn't want to tell them at all that he was moving, it would only bring even more troubles to the table. So he didn't open the door any more then just a crack.

"Ah~" Takano blushed slightly, forgetting his planning. "Well when you left randomly I felt bad I didn't want you to go off crying or something about me raising my voice at you. I was wondering if you were mad I didn't want you buying things for me. If you are I was only mad because I- ah... I-...."

Takano struggled to find a way to phrase the sentence so he didn't have to admit his feelings. The real reason is because I want to take care of him but how do I... "Because I care about you so I don't want you to go out of your way or anything." Takano hoped he'd take it the wrong way and not the right way. But Ichigoru should think they are just good friends so....

"It's fine Hiroki, you don't have to explain it to me." Kenny sighed and opened the door for Hiroki. "I have to be out by tomorrow. It is actually perfect, because that way, I will be closer to work...way closer." He walked over to his window and opened it up for some air to come in. "Sorry if it is crowded to smells like boxes."

Kenny looked outside for a while. "I miss the old days. I wonder how our childhood home is doing?" From time to time he does wonder about it. He wonders if the house is being used or if it is freely open. With a sigh he rubbed his arms and coughed softly. "Be nice to see it again, you know? We grew up too fast." His eyes looked down as a dog played around outside chasing a squirrel up a tree, getting mad once he was out of reach. The owner laughed and ran up to his dog, hugging him tightly. It made him think back on the days when he climbed a tree. Hiroki and Saionji got so upset with me. He though to himself. And smiled a little.

Takano breathed a breath of relief, he should of know there was nothing wrong with Ichigoru. If he said he was moving boxes he was moving boxes. "Our childhood home....... " Takano looked past all the boxes and saw Ichigoru's smiling face, back then he was simply Kenny.

"Look at that tree, I bet I can climb it!" Kenny said excitedly. "That's dangerous, don't." Kyouya said plainly. "Plus you can't anyways!" Takano smirked. Kenny scowled at the two jokingly.

Takano had to laugh, back then that's when he first realized he loved Ichigoru. Takano was so worried..... and more than ten years later her he is, still worrying. It almost made him a bit sad... to think of how he might live out his life without Ichigoru ever knowing. But- being able to be around him as a friend was enough for him to be happy.

Takano then smirked, "You never told me you were moving. It would of been pretty messed up if I came here looking for you and some old lady answered the door.". If I didn't follow him I wouldn't of known. Why am I finding out at the last damn second! It's true, I'm not his boyfriend or anything... though... I haven't really known Ichigoru to really date too much. I wonder if he's a homo? How do you slide that in a conversation? Oh hey the weather is wonderful today which reminds me are you straight?

Kenny bit his lip. "Sorry Hiro." He hugged himself and rubbed his arms. "Wasn't a right time to say anything, with what us busy and all." Turning around he faced Hiroki. "I want to see that tree again." He never told Hiroki and Saionji what he had wrote at the top of the tree when he was finally able to climb it. "Maybe the home too."

Biting his lip he glanced back out the window. Kenny actually wanted and was hoping to live there again. Wishing with all his heart no one lived there. But what if the house was torn down, he could feel his heart sink along with a frown on his face. He remembered the first and only time he cried in front of the two. It was when he was 8 and it was when he got bullied for wearing a bow in his hair to school one day. They kept calling him a girl and teasing him with a few shoves. One pushed him down hard enough he fell cutting the palm of his hands.

Hiro and Saionji was there. The feeling of them near and seeing that caused him to cry more than the pain in his hand. Back then he actually cried a lot, just not in front of them. It was the first time he wore a bow, a girl in class had put it in his hair for fun and it had got out of hand.

"Good memories." Takano sighed nostalgicly. He walked over by the window and then pit his hand on the sill and put his weight on it. He could see him and Ichigoru there playing. He looked down in the sill and saw Ichigoru's reflection.

I wonder what he's thinking about now... Takano noted the slight frown. "I hope the house is still there. But it has to." Takano smirked down at Ichigoru. He was always this fragile, even since the day they met. It was something Takano remembered vividly, Ichigoru was his brand new neighbor... Takano made a smart remark about his size and Ichigoru looked as if he could cry.

These days Ichigoru wouldn't blink twice at Takano's smart-assed comments.... or at least that's how Takano saw it. Takano closed his eyes, he could feel Ichigoru's small frame against his own. This time he was imagining Ichigoru and himself when Takano published his first manga. He took naps constantly and refused to do his work. But... Ichigoru set him straight, not that they actually met the deadline.

Kenny lifted his shoulders and lowered his head, turning he pushed his face up against Hiroki's chest. Thinking made his head hurt more than it did. When he felt the warmth from Hiroki, the sudden rush of tired ran through him. He lifted his hand to his mouth and coughed softly. "I wont be working tomorrow. Do you think you can get the deadline by then?" Kenny closed his eyes and started mumbling, leaning more into Hiroki as if he was a bed. A nice warm bad that fit Kenny's frame perfectly.

Kenny giggled. "I remember our sleep over." It was their first night sleeping over and their parents were out. The ran hit hard and the storm made it sound like ghost were in the house. Kenny was so scared he hid himself inside Hiroki's blankets near his feet shaking like a leaf. Saionji on the other hand slept like a rock as if it never bothered him.

Takano's eyes opened wide at Ichigoru snuggling into him. It was... nice. "Ah...yes...probably." Takano began to get more and more flustered as Ichigoru leaned into him. Do I make my move? Jeez I sound like a fucking pedophile. We're not far apart age wise but he is much smaller than me. If I just stopped being a wuss and told him maybe- I don't know- it could go something like.... "Oh, Takano! I've been in love love love with you for a long time! I was always so scared to tell you." "You should of told me Ichi- Kenny" and after that we live happily ever after- Shoujo sparkles and all. If only it worked like that.

"Yeah, you were traumatized." Takano laughed slightly at the memory as Kenny snapped him back to reality. Takano decided it was time, all his years of waiting would pay off. But the real trick was how to do it subtly to see how Kenny felt about him before confessing. "It was always the three of us. You were never really interested in girls or anything back then. Now that I'm thinking about it are you interested even now?" Takano silently hoped the answer would be no, in which case he'd just tell Ichigoru how it is.

"Interesting in girls?" Kenny shook his head. "Why on earth would I like girls." Kenny let go and giggled walking off into the kitchen. "I thought it was obvious on how I dress that I am gay. After all you and Saionji were all I hung around." Kenny got out two cokes out of the fridge and packaged roasted chicken sandwiches. He walked back over to Hiroki with his hands full and placed them on a box by the couch, sitting down and turning the movie back on.

He opened his soda and took a long drink out of it and sighed with a smile. "You sure did grow, it is so weird seeing you be this tall, it is like you grew over summer or something." He patted the seat next to him offering him the other sandwich and soda. "I wonder why we all stopped being so close." No matter how much he thought about it, he never understood why or what had happened. Maybe it was because they all moved out of the house and got their own places to live. Maybe it was because they all grew up,.

He does realize that there are guys you dress like girls and still date girls doesn't he.... I'm pretty sure there's a name for it or something. But who gives a fuck. Heh, and here I thought Ichigoru was some sort of lesbian guy. Well that clears matters up.

"Simple really, Me and Saonji are both in love with you. Me and Saonji can't be friends because of it. We always figured you were one of those guys that are straight cross-dresser's. It's not like we ever saw you look at a guy twice." Takano said easily. I'd beat the shit out the guy if he did.

"When you blush at us we just take it as a freind thing. You blush pretty damn easily actually. You act like a cute little girl sometimes." Takano took off the clip Ichigoru gave him and put it in his pocket then leaned over him, smirking. "So I guess that makes me a pedophile." Takano said in a low voice, his face not far from the blonde's. He could easily bend farther down and kiss him.

But Takano wasn't going to force himself on Ichigoru. At the moment anyways.

Kenny didn't make a reply and took another swig of his soda, he looked away from Hiroki and leaned his back on the couch, staring at the TV as he put his feet up on the box. "You shouldn't say things like that Hiroki. Besides, you can't love me." His eyes didn't leave the TV not once, he didn't want to look Hiroki in the eyes.

What Hiroki said made him feel happy, but it also made his heart sink a bit. "I just think you two are use to caring for me because we have known eachother for a long time." He wasn't sure if he should take what Hiroki said as a joke or just to say it. He wasn't the type to just blurt out fruity things out like that to Kenny, Kenny was use to being teased or yelled at by him.

If anyone out of them three was the fruity type it was Saionji. "Ah, and what about Saionji, he would be very mad at you for saying stuff like that, without him around." Getting up from his seat, Kenny lifted up his pants by his belt, looking away, hiding his face in his blonde hair, he couldn't stop his cheeks from blushing or his heart from racing, something he didn't want Hiroki to see.

"Why would I say something I didn't mean? It's not like I didn't think about it for a long time" Takano sighed. "I sound like a chick but it's true. Saonji is too much of a pansy to say anything so he should be grateful."

Takano looked at Ichigoru sharply, "I'd like to make this clear. My sexuality isn't a mistake. You turned me gay. I'm about to sound like some stupid Twilight book but I've never wanted anything as much as I want you. Got that?" Takano walked behind Ichigoru and hugged him from behind.

Takano's heart felt like it could explode, a girly feeling he didn't like at all. Somehow he was getting irritated, Ichigoru wasn't close enough to him. He wanted to hug him tighter and never let go. Then maybe make-out while looking at fireworks. The girly thoughts only pissed him off more. But still.... he felt good. This feeling felt good... something he never wanted to loose.

Kenny's eyes widened at the feeling of Hiroki's heart pounding against his back. His body heat up fast and his cheeks became even more red. "..W...why are you telling me this..." His words shook out shyly and became a whisper. He didn't move from Hiroki's arms, but he didn't like being there either, it gave away his position. He didn't hate Hirooki at all, he did like him as a good childhood friend, once in a while he would feel more than that, but something inside him made him feel like this was a joke or he was just dreaming, it could have been he was just so sick he was now hallucinating. Kenny bit his lip and looked down at his feet. "Hiro.." he asked softly. His mind was racing along with his heart. At this rate he didn't know what to do or say at all.
