Congratulations! You are going to participate in the brand new game show truth or dare. The winner of the show will receive 1 million dollars in cash and you have been chosen to compete as one of the eight contestants on the show, lucky you.
The rules of the show are simple; you come to an isolated island a couple hundred miles off the cost of Hawaii for the game show. You live in a small house on the island with seven other contestants. During the day you enjoy all the island has to offer. You explore its waterfalls, wildlife, beautiful scenery, and amazing beaches. Then, late in the evening, you play truth or dare. If you refuse to answer a truth question or can’t complete a dare, you’re out.
But everything isn’t, as it seems on this island. The wild life is very wild. The water hides dangerous currents and creatures. Plants emit exotic aromas that affect the mind. Things begin to get very strange on the island, and then the cameras disappear…

Rules for Dares-
When you dare another character to do something, make sure it isn’t life threatening to that character. We don’t want to get everyone killed off. Also, to put it plainly, you can’t dare characters to have sex. Your character gets to refuse one dare in the course of the entire rp.

Ava stepped into the living room head held high. She was ready to show these other contestants who was boss. Ava didn’t care what happened or what she was asked to do. Ava was here to win. She glanced around the living room of her temporary household. There were several couches in varying pastel colors that formed a circle facing each other. The floor was made up of dark and smoothly polished wooden boards and a small glass coffee table was in the center of the room. The living room had two doors one led to a well-stocked kitchen and the other to a rec room containing ping-pong, board games, and other activities for a rainy day.
The most noticeable feature of the room was a large sign on the far right wall that read, “Hello contestants, welcome to Truth or Dare! You will stay on this island until you are unable to answer a truth question correctly, or you fail to complete a dare. Each night truth or dare will commence at eight o’clock sharp. During the day feel free to explore the wondrous Island you are currently living on. Should you be in any sort of danger, press the PANIC button on the far left wall. Whenever a contestant gets eliminated a boat will arrive the next day to take you home. If you are caught cheating there will be consequences.

Scarlett had no reason what so ever to be nervous, so why was her thoat dry? Why did her palms go wet in the same way when she was about to jump head first into something bad? No, she COULD deal with this, easy peasy.
She wasn't particularly bothered if people liked her or not, she wasn't here to make life long friends, she was here for the prize. Oh how she needed that prize money.. But she did want to get long with them, confrontation wasn't exactly one of her strong points. Scarlett looked around and winced at the startling beauty of her surroundings. The island itself, well that is an added bonus, as she sure did love the outdoors! Scarlett giggled softly to herself. She was also quite looking forward to the games beginning, truth or dare was something every kid has played sure so it couldn't be too different really, could it? Truth made her nevous though, extremely nervous. Her hand started to sweat again and she suddenly felt thirsty. No, it will be ok. They don't know a thing and neither will they ever find out.

She glanced round the room taking in her surroundings, noting entrances and exits purposely ignoring the pretty brunette perched on the couch. Taylor stood outside the door to the house. Before she came, she had made sure to try and look good. First impressions are the ones that stick with us. She took a deep breath and looked down at herself. After making sure her outfit was okay, and doing one final touch up on her hair with her hands, she pushed open the door and put on her award winning smile.
She looked inside the room and noticed two people already there, both girls, one with brunett hair and one with blonde. They sat on couches oposite each other, each with a drink in their hand. Taylor walked over to the fridge and grabbed a Dr. Pepper. Then she went over to a couch next to both the girls. She looked them over quickly and smiled, waiting to see what they would do.

Eric really wasn't sure what he was suppose to do. He just kinda shrugged and made his way up to the house. He kinda just wanted to go walk on the beach or explore the forest maybe even go for a swim. He couldn't wait to get this little show started. The money that they had offered would help but mostly just to get away was why he did this. He really wasn't nervous but he tried to act it. When he reached the front door he messed up his hair. 'Don't want to look like I really care now do I.' He thought as he finally turned the door knob.
When he entered the house it really wasn't all that bad. The place had a pleasant smell to it he could get use to this. He turned a corner to go into the living room and saw three girls sitting on the couch completely quiet. He then leaned up against the frame of the door way "Little quiet in here don't you think?" After he asked the question he went and sat on the floor opposite of the girls.

Jason had walked along the beach from the boat all the way to the small, but homely house. When he finally came to the door that led to the living room he paused a moment. Not for any reason that any camera could pick up, he just stood there and stared at the door. Externally it may have looked like nothing, but internally his mind was racing. It raced through all the things that could go wrong, and then deleted them all. That's how he always dealed with anxiety, although today it didn't help much. He opened the door and stepped through.
As he came through he purposely stumbled a little ways. It was always better to make a funny appearance than a serious one in his opinion. Especially since he'd be competing against these people! The lower their opinion of him the more he could impress people. As he righted himself, he turned around and shut the door behind him. He then turned again and scanned the room, taking more detail of the actual room then the three girls. He didn't spot any cameras, until he looked up there he saw a small black bubble. It swiveled around to catch him and he gave a small smile. He then focused on the girls. One, in particular, stood out a blonde in khaki shorts with a Pepsi in her hands. "Hello ladies!" he said. Ava watched as two girls walked into the room completely silent. They mimicked her actions and grabbed a soda before sitting down on the couch. Ava smiled icily, it was cute. A guy with blond hair pranced into the living room. He chose to interrupt the silence, "little quiet in here don't you think?" Ava couldn't help but smile when no one responded.
Another guy with brown hair walked into the room and made some obnoxious comment trying to be funny as he sat down Ava rolled her eyes and decided to break the female silence, "okay so, two things two things. One my names Ava, hi. I guess you guys are the competitors. The 2nd thing is is it just me or is this island awesome?"

"Heh, this ought to be good." Richard says, getting off the boat with his belongings in a duffel bag. "Hopefully, I dont need to use this." He says to himself, patting the blade hidden in his boot. Walking into the Living room, he looks quickly at the other contestants before dumping his bag in his room. He than takes the time to head to the fridge, and grab a beer. "Ah fuck the drinking laws, USA doesn't own this island." He smiles, opening the bottle and taking a swig. "Damn I needed that." He says, setting the beer down.

Scarlett eyed up the other contestants wearily, so far they were exactly what she expected them to be. All extremely beautiful, in great shape and young. It's figuring them out that will be the hard part. Scarlett knew very well that first impressions can be decieving and people could change at the drop of a hat, on top of that they were paying a GAMEshow everyone has a motive. She pulled her legs to her chest and hugged them tightly watching as two men and two other women entered the room. The first man in, seemed to find himself as little bit of comedian. She liked people who tried to break the ice, she also liked people who spoke a lot, that meant she didn't have to. She liked him already. The pretty girl here before her decided to speak. Scarlett didn't want to be rude. "Erm, hey. I'm Scarlett. Yep, sure is beautiful!" She felt silly but couldn't think of any other input so sat back and waited.
Eric was unsure of what to do. "Yeah the island isn't all that bad." He really didn't care as long as he was away. "Well might as well introduce myself." He then got up and stretched once he was done "I'm Eric. It's nice to meet you all." He said this with a smile on his face. He moved over to the fridge and rummaged through it. "Hmm, there is quite a bit in here, yet there is nothing at the same time." He finally decided on a Dr.Pepper. He walked back to where he had been sitting and opened the can, then sat down. He stared out the window for a few seconds then turned to look at all of the other kids in the room. "This should be a fun game, right?" he said closing his eyes as if not really wanting to look at them. He opened them and gave a smirk. 'This will be fun.' was the thought running through his head.
Ava looked at the clock, it was eight already. She took a deep shaky breath and replied to Eric, "Yeah, sure I guess it will be fun." Ava glanced at the clock once more. It was time for them to start. She had both dreaded and anticipated this moment for some time now. Truth or Dare promised to be as much fun as competitive and nerve racking. Ava looked around and Put on her best smile, "Well, I suppose I'll start." Ava glanced around the room she didn't know many names so she didn't have many people to select. Finally she turned to the guy who had grabbed himself a beer. Sitting up straight Ava grinned dangerously, "All right, Richard,Truth or Dare?"

Taylor slowly took a sip of her Dr. Pepper and watched, grinning as the others talked to each other. She would have said something, but she liked watching them all interact. She saw Ava glance at the clock and followed her eyes. 8:00. Time to start. Her grin turned into a slight smirk and she watched the girl called Ava ask richard. This ought to be good, she thought.

Scarlett watched as things began to unfold. So the game begins, thank God it wasn't her first. She started to wonder exactly what "truth and dare" would mean, what sort of things would happen. It worried her, a lot. This is what she signed up for though, no time for cold feet now. She watched and waited for the pretty brunette to give the blonde boy his dare. Please hurry, she thought, Scarlett haited the unknown. She got off the couch and too a beer from the fridge. Scarlett wasn't big on alcohol but knew it would calm her nerves, she sat cross legged on the floor next to the table and waited for the game to carry on/
Ava bit her lip, she paused a moment and glanced around the room. She needed a really good dare something to quickly eliminate one competitor from the group. But Ava hadn't thought up a good dare. Ava finally said slowly, "All right, I dare you to sleep in the jungle, without any blankets, for the next three nights."

Richard raises an eyebrow at her dare. Sure it'll be tough, but he knows that he's got the smarts and the weaponry to do it. "Okay, I'll do it." He says after thinking about it for a minute, smirking as he watches her eyes widen in shock of his answer. "If I've been able to survive in the Urban jungle without any help for years, I think I can spend 3 nights in a regular Jungle." He says, appearing confident yet calculating in his abilities.
Eric looked at this and wondered who was more insane. "Well good luck I guess." He then stood up with his drink and went into the kitchen to find something to snack on. He rummaged through the cabinets for a few moments and came back into the room with a bag of chips. And sat down next to one of the girls. "So who's next then?" After the question was asked he started to eat the chips. He was careful as not to get any of the crumbs on the couch.
"Oh please Eric, I don't luck for Ava's Dare." He says, slipping the knife out of his boot and twirling it in his hands, the metal blade dancing in the light as the knife spins between Richard's fingers. While still spinning the blade, he takes aim at the bag of chips in Eric's hands, and stops the spinning motion with the blade facing downwards. from his sitting position, he throws the knife, stabbing the chip bag right out of Eric's hands and nailing it to the wall behind him, without harming Eric's fingers. "I have skills from living on the streets." He says, walking over to the wall. he rips the knife out of the wall, and hands Eric back his bag of chips, a nice clean hole in the bag, and none of the chips are chopped. He sits back down, and than looks around at the others "Alright... who's next..." He says, looking at each of the contestants with a eye that looks as if it's peering into your soul. "Scarlett, Truth or Dare?" He asks, a smirk on his face.

Richards Story:
Warning: this story includes love, lost and murder in graphic detail. Discretion is advised...
There's not much info on Richard that's not in a Police File. What is known is this: Richard was born into a hardworking Irish family in Chicago, who had still-evident ties with the IRA. However, his parents were unfortunate victims of a drive-by shooting that occured when Mkoll was only 13 years old. Orphaned and alone, he became enraged after the Police refused to do anything to find the victims. So, he did what he felt was right: He hunted them himself. During that time, he met a mysterious girl named Jessi, who assisted him in his quest for revenge and love, but apparently lost her somehow. Whether she is dead or not has not been figured out. After 2 years of investigation, he discovered that the gang that was responsible for the shooting was located in an old warehouse on the Chicago River. Using his fathers' connections, he got an AK-47, a Desert Eagle, and a bulletproof vest. So, out for blood and trained by IRA veterans, Richard committed the worst manslaughter Chicago has seen since the St. Valentines Day Massacre. Killing 10 with the bullets, he detonated the gangs' vehicles and weapons inside, killing several others and razing the ancient building, which in total killed 15 people and critically wounded 12. As Chicago Police and Fire Department appeared, he escaped without detection by the authorities. However, due to a few blinking security cameras he saw while setting the explosives, he believes that they knew he did it. 10 days after the Massacre, he was arrested for shoplifting a convenience store. Since than, he's been arrested at least a dozen times for petty crimes, 3 second degree charges of Grand Theft Auto, and one count of first degree murder of a drunk guy, but was excused after the autopsy showed the man died of alcohol poisoning, not fighting Richard in a drunken brawl. Since than, he joined a gang by the name of 'Guns N Roses', which he has assisted in robberies with, hacking their mainframes and shutting off alarms and cameras.

:D, all right doesn't look like anyone else is adding a character, so lets get started :D. Just add in you're crush then reply to the post. We're all going to arrive in the living room, meat each other, then play truth or dare. Any one who hasn't given me their history, if you could do that at some point in the future that'd be nice.

History for Taylor Bray
Taylor is used to getting whatever she wants. She grew up in a life of the rich and famous, her Dad a famous director and her mom a famous model. She would have a maid to clean all of her messes and a butler at her beck and call. Someone was always there to fix her every need, someone except her parents. At the most, she would see her parents 5 times a week, and that would only be for a quick dinner or a stop by. They assumed that they could buy her love with jewelry, clothes, make up, anything, but they couldn't. She always held it against them that they never spent time with her, and grew up with quite an attitude.
At school Taylor was always surrounded by people, all wanting to talk to her and befriend her, but not because of who she was but because of who her parents were. Her only true friend had been a boy named Jake who she used to be best frieds with, but she stopped having time for him and they grew apart over a few years.

She would have a maid to clean all of her messes and a butler at her beck and call. Someone was always there to fix her every need, someone except her parents. At the most, she would see her parents 5 times a week, and that would only be for a quick dinner or a stop by. They assumed that they could buy her love with jewelry, clothes, make up, anything, but they couldn't. She always held it against them that they never spent time with her, and grew up with quite an attitude.
At school Taylor was always surrounded by people, all wanting to talk to her and befriend her, but not because of who she was but because of who her parents were. Her only true friend had been a boy named Jake who she used to be best frieds with, but she stopped having time for him and they grew apart over a few years.

I'm trying to keep the histories a secret so that it's more of a mystery. That way characters learn each others history through truth or dare. But if you can't get you're pm to work then posting it here is fine.

You need to Pm me you're characters history, don't mean to be a nag but I'm trying to figure out how each character is going to play into the plot.

I suppose it's fine I will just join a different role play as the likelihood of more people joining is yet to be determined. I can't really fulfill your promise of joining your next role play though Wild1 if there aren't anymore spots. So I'll just go find a different role play for now.
