Description: Due to his training as a ninja of the Hidden Mist Village, he is a very capable fighter and at 6'2 and 180 lbs possesses insane speed, agility, and acrobatic skill. His hair goes midway down his back, and the two bangs stop just below his collar bone.
Culture: Kavic comes from a large continent on a world where ninjas are the primary fighting force. Each major land had a ninja village that served as the center for the development of a country's military power. He lived in the small, secluded Hidden Mist Village located in the northern reaches of the island nation known as The Land of Waves. This village emphasized fanatical devotion to the completion of missions, and absolute loyalty to the Hidden Mist Village above all else. Young ninja were taught to complete the mission at all costs or die trying. Failure and capture were never options. Faced with capture, mist ninja would kill themselves rather than let themselves and any information they may possess fall into another village's hands.
Personality
Like the land he lived in, Kavic is rather cold and inhospitable. Years of training, brainwashing as some call it, have suppressed his emotions and made it difficult for him to relate to other people. When he is given a task or mission, he works almost mechanically to accomplish it. He is very intelligent and has a highly analytic mind, able to break down and analyze an ongoing battle and rapidly formulate a counter strategy to combat the enemy. For all of his training in strategic warfare and espionage, Kavic has very poor social skills. He does not really know how to interact with others in non-combat situations. Kavic finds himself at a loss when faced with something he can't apply to combat. Because of his inexperience, he takes a minimalist approach to conversation, not beating around the bush, his conversations are typically short, sharp and to the point. This has given him a reputation as brusque, cold, uncaring, and hostile. In actuality, he has no desire to offend or otherwise discourage people from talking to him. He just doesn't know any other way to communicate.
What Was Given to Yuko: Kavic gave up the mask he wore as a member of the Hidden Mist Village's ANBU Black Ops. Joining the ANBU was the culmination of all Kavic's efforts, and all of the training his village subjected him to. He treasured this mask above all of his other possessions. It symbolized all of his work, and all of his sacrifice for the sake of his village.
Extra: Since he lived most of his life in a harsh winter-land, he is unaffected by cold temperatures, however hot weather does get to him.

Powers:
Ninjutsu: Ninjutsu refers to ninja techniques that require a certain amount of chakra (a combination of mental and physical energy) to perform. Using ninjutsu techniques reduces Kavic's chakra, which gradually replenishes over time, or he can spend time focusing on building it back up in a sort of meditation.
Basic Techniques: Consume a small amount of chakra, do not wear down the user substantially.
Substitution Jutsu: Using a burst of chakra , Kavic switches places with a nearby object and his image is transposed on the object for a few seconds, providing an opening for a counter attack against an unsuspecting enemy.
Chakra Control: Concentrating chakra to various parts of his body yields different effects, from bolstering his physical strength and speed, to allowing him to walk on water or up vertical surfaces such as walls and rock faces. The amount of chakra consumed depends on how much chakra Kavic concentrates and how long he concentrates it.
Elemental Ninjutsu: There are five elemental techniques: fire, wind, lightning, earth, and water. Fire beats wind, which beats lightning, beats earth, beats water, beats fire. Elemental techniques consume significantly more chakra than basic techniques, repeated use without intermission can quickly drain chakra. Overusing chakra can leave Kavic in a state of mental and physical exhaustion. Kavic reduces the chakra consumption of these techniques by making unique set of hand signs that focus his chakra more efficiently. The trade off is more hand signs means less chakra is used, though the jutsu takes longer to cast, and both hands are needed to make handsigns. 1 second/ 3 hand signs
Water Style: Relies on a water source to perform, or can create water at a significant drain on his chakra. He keeps two scrolls that he can use to summon (deploy) a large puddle of water each (enough to cover the floor of a midsize room in an inch of water), in dry places.
Water Fang Bullet: Conjures up a large spinning liquid mass from under water to strike at and maim an enemy. Can be highly damaging depending on volume of water Hand Signs: 6 (hand signs needed for maximum chakra use efficiency)
Water Whip: Uses a small amount of water to form a lengthy whip held together by chakra. Used to strike and bind opponents. Hand Signs: 2
Water Clone: Creates an indistinguishable copy of the users body made out of water. Degenerates into a puddle of water when dealt a solid hit. Can execute all of the same attacks as the original. Chakra not expended by the clone is returned to Kavic. Power of clone depends on amount of chakra devoted to clone. Hand Signs: 6
Water Dragon Bullet: Creates and controls a dragon made out of water and attacks with it. High level of physical power, slower attack, high chakra requirements. Hand Signs: 15
Water Encampment Wall: Pulls together a revolving wall of water to encircle and protect the jutsu caster. Wall size and durability of wall depend on amount of chakra used. Can be expanded to protect allies at the cost of additional chakra. Hand Signs: 3
Wind Style: Strengthens attack with a sharp, piercing ability. Wind techniques sometimes rely on the breathing of the caster for their potency.
Vacuum Spheres: A number of piercing wind bullets are exhaled in a scatter-shot method designed to maximize target area at the expense of power per shot impact. Hand Signs: 6
Wind Enhanced Ninja Tools: Kavic channels his wind style chakra into his ninja tools. This extends their blades and enhances their cutting power dramatically. Low initial chakra cost, though it costs additional chakra to maintain. Hand Signs: None
Ice Style: Kavic holds the ability to utilize ice style ninjutsu, a rare bloodline ability, a kekkei genkai. He is able to simultaneously channel water and wind style chakra to create the ice style. This allows him to form incredibly durable ice structures and tools that are capable of withstanding even some fire attacks. Like water style, these jutsu are dependent on water for their effectiveness. When these jutsu are performed, the temperature of the surrounding area will begin to lower perceptibly depending on the duration of the techniques, bottoming out in the low twenties and upper teens (in Fahrenheit)
Ice needles: With this jutsu, water is turned into razor sharp, solid needles to pierce an opponent. Kavic typically uses this as a flanking attack in battle, engaging a foe in close combat in wet terrain. While attacking at close range, he splashes water into the air and uses his chakra to turn the water into a cloud of needles he can direct with his chakra to fly at an opponent (they are not homing, when he launches them with his chakra they just fly in a linear pattern). Unlike his other ninjutsu, he only needs to use one hand to form the hand signs for this technique. Hand Signs: 4 (one handed)
Crystal Ice Mirrors: This is the most powerful, and terrifying, jutsu that Kavic possesses. Using his chakra he quickly forms mirrors made out of solid ice that are impervious to any conventional attack, all but a proportionately powerful, truly devastating attack can shatter them. When multiple mirrors are formed, Kavic is able to meld into one mirror, and transport himself to another mirror that has his reflection at speeds impossible for all but the most gifted to follow with their eyes. Typically, Kavic will form mirrors to surround an opponent or group of enemies, forming a large ring around them at ground level, a smaller layer above this angled down towards the ground. The whole thing is capped by a completely downward facing mirror, forming a dome formation of mirrors through which Kavic can move through at will to attack the enemy from any angle as he is transported between mirrors. His bloodline ability allows his own eyes to keep up with his movement speed while in this state, so that his opponents appear to be moving very slow in relation to him. However, this technique requires a great deal of chakra and his speed will progressively slow as he maintains the jutsu. Presently, he can only maintain the jutsu for several minutes, so it is not ideal for large battles and he typically only uses the dome of mirrors as a last resort. Hand Signs: 1, he holds it for two seconds in order to create the dome formation (however he can form single pairs of mirrors for rapid movements in an instant).
History
Kavic was born in the Village Hidden in the Mist to two high level Mist ninja. In a society as cruel and militaristic as the Mist Village, this alone was enough to decide Kavic's fate. From a very early age, around five years old, Kavic was trained by merciless instructors to hone his hand to hand skills, develop his ninjutsu, and suppress his emotions. The training took its toll, but it crafted him into a fine example of a Mist Village shinobi (formal term for ninja). Upon his graduation from training, Kavic took on basic missions for a few years until he awakened his Kekkei Genkai, the Ice Style. This unique, and exceedingly rare ability passed on to him from his parents gave him a distinct edge over many other ninja of the same age and experience as himself.
Kavic was recruited by the Mist ANBU Black Ops and received elite training to further hone his skills and develop his techniques at the age of fourteen. The ANBU were distinguished for carrying out missions of extreme importance where secrecy and discretion were the rule. ANBU reported directly to the village leader and received missions that no one in the Hidden Mist, or any villages affected by the missions could ever find out about. They dealt with secrets, documents, and notable individuals who could upset the delicate balance of power between the nations. And they made sure their actions would tip the balance more in favor of the Mist, though not in ways the other villages would be able to prove.
Being a part of the ANBU, members were privy to knowledge that could inflict great harm to the Hidden Mist should other powers gain access to it. That being the case, ANBU members are mandated to kill themselves and destroy their bodies in the event of defeat by enemy ninja. That way no secrets contained in their minds or bodies could ever be used against the Mist. Despite the harsh measures and moral grayness of the missions, Kavic not only survived, but thrived in the Mist ANBU gained quite a reputation for himself by his skill in combat and his impressive record for successful missions. Until one day.
Years later on a mission deep in the territory of another village, Kavic and his team were found out and cornered by a superior force. Working out a plan while waiting for the enemy ninja to make a move, most of the ninja were determined to die fighting the enemy. However the team leader, a truly sadistic man named Tarro, had other plans. In ruthlessly keeping with ANBU policy, he took it upon himself to ensure the final mandate of the ANBU was carried out, and without warning he savagely attacked his comrades, slaughtering them and ensuring there was no chance for the enemy to interrogate them before using some explosives to blow himself up. The Kavic only survived this slaughter by the luck of Yuko. She summoned him right as Tarro went on his rampage.
