In Dilias city, crime is high and only partially predictable, especially in poorer districts. The police is well equipped for this but if things get more dangerous then Unit 12 has to take care of it. Unit 12 is a division of the police force which uses armored exoskeleton suits and mechas. They have to take care of transformable and strong cyborgs, rogue androids and illegal mechas. To even use the exoskeleton suits and mechas in Unit 12, the people have to have a neural transmitter implanted which is linked to the spinal cord for maximum agility and control over the mecha they are piloting or the suit that they are in. These are normally recognizable due to a metallic outlet like hole in the back of the pilots neck. It is the year 2043 now and there has been an increased number of illegal military grade mechs in the city. Now Unit 12 has to take them out and find the source of their appearance.

Mechas: Mechas come in all sorts and sizes. They range from miniture three foot, fully automated drones to 70 feet tall, piloted war machines. Some mechas come in humanoid forms, while others dont. Some of them can fly. There are also mechas who walk on legs, others have wheel or tank tracks. The worst ones are fully automated transformable mechas which can fly or when they are controlled by no pilot but a human brain. They all have weapons. The Unit 12 mechas have a combustion engine which generates electric energy for the mecha and in case fuel runs out there is a reserve battery that runs for an extra three hours.

Exoskeleton suits: Exoskeleton suits are small electric suits of armor which are quicker than mechs but have lesser firepower. They range from being just a second layer of skin for protecten with strength enhancers to thick plated armed minimechas. They are no taller than 9 feet and the pilot normally has to move with the suit. The Unit 12 exoskeleton suits can normally fly and have at least a machinegun installed. There are special exoskeleton suits which are transformable but the pilot need to be a cyborg with cybernetic arms and legs, otherwise humans would severly injure themselves inside or even get ripped apart.
