Nicolai is a caring man. He enjoys being with other persons, and does his best to help if someone have been hurt. However, if a person is close to death or gravely injured, he seems to ignore if the persons screams for help or anything else doing treatment. He is the type of guy you can talk to with just about anything, as there is many things that catches his interest easily. He enjoys reading books, especially medicinial and learning aswell as practicing even more.

When he was a child Nicolais parents always told him to avoid pirates, bandits and every other sort of people that might risk going into a fight. However at the end the parents were killed by the Pirate Hunters because it was believed that his parents were pirates. After that episode Nicolai decided to dedicate his life to helping others, but he also developed a deep hatred for the pirate hunters, which in the end resulted in him moving to a area where there lived many pirates, bandits and other kinds of scoundrels. Whenever anyone were to get hurt they came to "The masked one" for healing. No one knew his real name, but his mask was his trademark and with that people recognized him, so he soon was known as The masked one or The masked man. Now however he thinks it is time to move on in life and that only times will show where he ends.
