The nuns looked back up when Nasir came back, their faces changing from friendly, to confused and then to just horrified. They all took a couple of steps back and looked at each other before looking over at Ofelia's little girl. One finally spoke up. "Little Grace, was the child born to you wife ten years ago....The head of the church had ordered us to remove the children born by young unmarried girls to place them in orphanages to go to families of the church who were looking to adopt children. We must follow the orders we recieve or we'll be cast out...We were told that we were to take give the girls a drug that kept them in an inebriated state, made the babies sluggish, take the babies once the girls fell asleep, and tell the mothers they died." She explained. Another who looked panicked spoke up next. "We were told it was in the name of god, we werent to disobey orders! We had no choice...Most of the women never wanted their babies in the first place, it was rare we took one that was wanted..." She said and held her cross.

Nasir growled and leaned in, "For the sake of the kids I won't bash your heads in. No God would want something as inhumane as that. I will see to it that this place shut down and the kids be placed... so where no so stupid and horrid." He said. "We are taking Grace, you understand. Ten years my wife could have had her daughter. Ten fucking years and you and your stupid people took that away from her! You will rot in hell for his." He said and walked up to Ofelia and told her what the nuns told him. "We are taking her home, but I am going to talk to Marcus before we leave." He said.

Ofelia looked up at Nasir when he walked back and she nodded a little bit. "So, that is Marie? They really did take her away from me... I told them I wanted her, that my dad would stop being mad when he saw her...Theyve had her this whole time.." She said and looked back at the little girl. "God I dont even know what im supposed to tell her..." She said softly. "I'll go get her, we can tell her when things settle down." She said and cautiously walked over to her daughter. "Hi, Grace right?" She said and the girl nodded. "My names Ofelia, and thats Nasir over there. And we are going to be taking you home to live with us, okay?" She said and the Grace looked up and smiled a little bit. "Really?" She asked. "You wont return me?" She said next and Ofelia's heart broke. "No sweetie, we'll never return you, you'll come live with us forever from not okay? Lets go get your things and we can head off okay?" Ofelia said and they went and grabbed Grace's few important things and then returned to Nasir.

Nasir nodded and watched his wife go and talk to her daughter... their daughter. Nasir wondered how in the hell he got so many kids at once, but he wouldn't complain. This is what he wanted. As many children as Ofelia would give him, either through herself or adoption. He loved the hell out of the twins, even with Avery being a little prick, Meriela was his sweet little redhead. It killed him to see his sister in her, but... she was gorgeous and lively. Ameria had a strong since of having her family under her wings, even if that meant blackmailing them. Meriela was showing some of those traits, she loves on Lir and when he cries for food or his diaper she screams until one of them gets to him and then fusses at him or Ofelia. She loves the dead look in Fabian's face when he holds her. It scares him to death, but hopefully being with him and the rest of the family will turn those traits for something good. Then his son Lir... he couldn't get over how handsome he looked. A perfect mixture of him and his wife. A little oddball, but... he was so happy for his son is healthy. Then he had one on the way, though not his he would treat it like any of his children. And now, Grace. A child created from such negativity too, but she seemed like a bright child.

Nasir watched them walk off to get her things and when they came back he smiled, "Hello there, Grace. It is an honor to meet you. We have a bit of shopping to do, if that is okay. Then we are going to chat with my friend. He lives alll the way... gosh darn that tiny house... over there." He said with a big smile and pointed to the castle.

Ofelia smiled as Nasir talked to Grace. They had just welcomed this new little girl into their family and he was already so friendly and loving with her, just like he was with the other kids. Grace looked up and smiled a little bit and nodded at him before looking towards the castle. "He lives in the Castle!?" She asked, obviously a little excited about it. Ofelia laughed a little bit. "He sure does. Come on, lets get going then huh?" She said and Grace took her hand which made Ofelia want to melt as they started walking off to get their shopping done.

Nasir chuckled and walked off with them. Avery was going to flip his shit when he found out they brought yet another girl home. He mentally sighed and shook his head before getting Grace some more clothes and a few things. He was going to have to ask her about the bed and redo the room. At this rate he was going to have to add a couple rooms to the house. By the time they were done it was a bit past twelve and they headed for the castle where the guards welcomed him as if he was a royal too and smiled. Romilly met them with baby in arms. She was getting so big and she was so beautiful. He was happy that Marcus grew the fuck up. He had been worried about him, but now he was proud to call him his best friend and future king. Romilly took them to where Marcus was. "Well it is always nice to see you, old friend. Ahh same to you too, Ofelia... and who is this mini you?" He asked. "I didn't see you on the ranch. I am Marcus, it is an honor to meet you..." He looked up at Nasir.

"Grace," Nasir said.

"Grace," Marcus repeated. "Such a lovely name too. What can I help you three with today?" He asked. Nasir looked over at Grace and Ofelia. "You two should hang with Romilly and Shirley." He said softly. When they left he told Marcus everything. He knew about the rape and he knew that she had miscarried the baby, but this... this made him beyond pissed. He told Nasir he will see to it that the kids had a new place and would be run by much better people. The church and everyone who knew about this would be punished for their crimes and sins. He would cut some of the budget from his personal account to see to it.

"On a brighter note... Ros is expecting again." He said.

Marcus smiled and shook his head, "I thought she didn't want anymore kids." He said.

Nasir shrugged, "It was an accident again. You would have thought they learned the first time... I just hope for his sake that he doesn't fuck up this time. He is Mayor now... it would look so bad if I threw the Mayor off the island." He smirked and both of them laughed.

Meanwhile, Romilly chatted with Ofelia and Grace and ate lunch with them while the men talked. At the end of it all Marcus sent for a carriage and congratulated them on their addition to the family and that things would be taken care of. When they all got into the carriage Nasir smiled, "I hope you like riding dragons." He said softly.

Ofelia's mind was pretty much all over the place, theyd need to add rooms on to the house soon, though she could easily put Grace in the guest room for now, and they could decorate it later, though it wouldnt be long before they were going to need the space with the new baby being around, and with Meri getting older, theyd definitely need to add onto the house soon enough. Grace was just all kinds of into the castle, and looked at everything with these huge wide eyes, and shyly spoke to Romilly while they had lunch. When it was time to go Ofelia thanked Marcus and Romilly and got into the carriage. Not too long after they got in Grace ended up falling asleep. Ofelia looked over and smiled softly before frowning a little. "We'll have to tell your parents and everyone else about what happened I guess huh..?" She said softly.

Nasir frowned a bit, "Tell them the bare minimum. Let me tie Ros up before we tell her what happened with the church. She is gonna end up... doing something stupid. If you are worried about the rooms, don't. We will have enough time. Meri is too young to be by herself just yet. Unless she moves in with Grace. Lir can share with Harper's baby. Plus Codon and I can throw up a room or two in no time, faster if Fabian helps too. I have your back, babe." He said and smiled softly. "She is gorgeous... just like you." He said softly and leaned over to kiss the top of his wife's head.

Ofelia nodded a little bit. "I know we have time, I was just thinking we could put her in the guest room for a while, let her put things in there that make her feel at home until we can give her a proper room. We'll see how she does with Meri, and if she does well we can put her in with her too." She said and then frowned again. "What do we tell her? Shes gonna realize that we look just like each other eventually...What are we supposed to tell her? What do we say about...About her father..?" She said her voice dropping down to a whisper. She hated to think that man could had a part in creating something so beautiful, though she was glad he'd never even get to see her, he didnt deserve that for even a second.

Nasir nodded about the room situation and then thought about what could be told to her. He knew she would question it at some point. "You tell her about how young you were when you had her and what the church did. You leave out that part about him. Tell her he is long gone and out of the picture. She doesn't need to know details right now or ever." He whispered back. "She deserves to know you are her real mother." He remembered the sound of Vincent screaming and the sound of his body being torn apart. Nasir leaned back and closed his eyes as flashbacks from war came through. He had an almost angry and pained look on his face. He hated when that happened. It always killed him inside.

Ofelia looked back at her daughter and nodded a little bit. "I guess I should tell her soon before it gets to be too long and she tries to find out herself and hates us for not saying anything...I cant believe shes even alive. She was born barely at eight months, I dont know what happened really but she made it....Cant believe I missed out on her for ten years..." She said and then looked at Nasir's face and leaned forward and cupped his face and kissed his forehead, hoping that hed stop making that face that worried her.

Nasir opened his eyes when he felt his wife's lips on his forehead. He smiled down at her, "She is a little fighter like her mother. What concerns me is why she asked if we were going to return her. That broke my heart, babe." He said softly and shook his head. He thought about the boys and how he could never bring them back to an orphanage, well they never had been but he couldn't take them to one. Once he had them, they were his and he was their father. "I was thinking on how Avery is going to take another girl in the house." He smirked. "The kid seems to get worse the more girls you bring in... though maybe he has a soft spot for Meri." He said softly.

Ofelia nodded a little bit. "I'll have to ask her about that once she's feeling a little more settled in with us..Its concerning. I dont know what she would have been returned for, she seems like every other little girl. Though with those religious types and that church, I doubt it was really something that she was the cause of." She said and shook her head a little. "Maybe the more girls we put him around the better he'll get. Who knows? Hes doing better with Meri. Maybe they can get along, theyve both been uprooted from what they know to come live with us, maybe he wont think shes that different from him..."

Nasir nodded, "We can only hope." He said and watched as the got closer to the drop off. When they got there he went out first and let Ofelia wake her, he then helped them both out before getting the bags. They had to go pick up the kids from Roshia's house and shew as going to ask questions, but maybe not when she saw Grace. Either way... at this point they should have just adopted all of the kids. "One dragon down, a bunch more to go." He smirked and helped his wife and daughter up before getting on. He sure hoped Grace liked him, with every new kid it brought up that worry.

Ofelia woke Grace up and they got on the dragon. Grace was in awe of it. "You think the owner will let me pet it when we're done?" She asked and Ofelia laughed a little. "She's ours sweetheart. You can pet her when ever you want. The ranch I run, is one for dragons. You'll get to pet them, and ride them, and love them as much as you could possibly want." She said and Grace lit up. "Really!? On all of them?" She asked. "Well, most of them. Some of them are real big and grouchy." She said and Grace nodded. "Do you have other kids?" She asked. Ofelia nodded. "Mhm, we have Alois and Avery, theyre twin boys, and theyre six. Dont worry theyre easy to tell apart. And then theres Meriella, shes almost two, and then we have Lir, hes seven months old, so you will have all kinds of other kids to play with." Ofelia explained and Grace nodded a little with a smile. She was kind of glad she wouldnt be the only child.
