Rivera rolled over, looking down at him. She smiled. "And should I love you for any other reason?"

Theodin stayed silent for a second. "Is it truly relevant to why we did not come back, or why I am alone? Do you truly wish me to relive the fact that myself and my comrades were tortured on account that Lyncon has declared war on Morlay, and what was supposed to be a simple delivery turned out to be an ambush? My comrades were killed for not talking, and I only just escaped. I was able to secure myself a horse and about a days' worth of provisions. Other than that, Sire, I do not deem nessecary to tell you."
