The Clicks went off and continued to gradually increase in volume, and speed. Then finally, the clicks come to an abrupt stop. Air was being popped out. Suddenly, the machine itself that contained the human, was released from the clamps that kept it bolted onto the Preservation, and left it plummeting. But fear not, for the pod is caught once again by a 'gripper'. The Gripper had followed the pod from the point in which it dropped,waiting for it to reach the speed needed for it to stop. The gripper then out-stretches it's self, holding the pod firmly. This act was caused to 'awaken' the human, because nothing says "Good morning honey~" Like throwing your precious human life forms off a building.

Even though the human trapped inside the pod is technically 'conscious', their body's aren't.
The pod is brought to the 'defreezing' center, where it is put and followed by an assembly line like sequence. The first act of defreezing, is opening the roof of the pod to snake in liquids. It is opened slightly, but not entirely. The body is currently in a frozen state and, without adjusting, would will kill the human immediately. Liquids are leaked in through the tubes, drowning the body in a slow, but gradual rising temperature. The Human inside can still breathe through their oxygen mask, with which they are equipped with before the Cryosleep even began. Once the human has adjusted, it it released in the relaxation center. The human is given a set of clothes to wear, it's personal belongings, and it's Life Assistance Android, to protect and to serve their Human.

The first thing Lynn did and always did once departing from Cryosleep, was want to know how long she had been sleeping. But first, she pulled on her skin tight 'uniform', her belt which was equipped with a flashlight, a military watch(Tells the hours 1-24), and a photo of her and her two best friends. Aaren, and Garret. The best guys a girl could have... Wait, didn't she used to have boots? Lynn looked around herself quickly, before noticing that she had been sitting on top of them.

"Welcome back, miss Lynn. How did you sleep...? Would you like to check your physical or, metal, status?" Lynn's Life Assistance Android asked, showing surprise, and slight happiness. Because most likely, the Android hadn't seen it's original Human in quite some time, and missed her dearly. Lynn sighed, shaking her head. " No, I think I'm fine for now, AALIS. I'll go by the Gym later, if your worried about my body." Lynn was one of the few people to call their Android by a name, besides a few curse words. "How long was I out?" Lynn asked, Pulling her boots on. She noticed that they didn't fit quite right. Either her feet were growing, or they weren't hers. Either way though, she got them on. "Approximately 23 years, 65 days, 4 hours, 3 minutes, and 15...16...17..." "Alright,alright. I get it. Thank you, AALIS..." Lynn responded, shaking her head with a small smirk on her lips. "That was a dangerous crime, Lynn. You nearly shut down half the Preservation.... you're lucky you were'nt put in Cryosleep forever..." AALIS typed the password into the computerized door, unlocking it. Lynn stood up on her feet, still adjusting to her own weight, and balance. For a few seconds there, she seemed to look like a toddler trying to walk for the very first time. Lynn tripped and wobbled, but she got the hang of it once again.

AALIS and Lynn walked down the long, narrow, and slightly curving hallway. A few adjustments to the lights, and a fresh coat of paint were the only things she could notice different since she was last awake. But while taking that exercising walk, AALIS found it the perfect time to read off a very long list, informing Lynn of all the changes and improvements that have been made to the preservation. "Yes, and a shocking discovery was uncovered just last week. The DNA of Chickens were discovered, and extracted. We have now transferred the DNA into living tissue, creating the first Chickens of this Era. We are now raising 'chicks' in the Garden Area, but we are beginning to consider making another room for 'Farm Animals." AALIS explained. Lynn looked a little curious about Chickens, but mostly confused by it. She had defiantly heard of them before, but wasn't sure what the preservation needed them for. Lynn shook it off, and let AALIS continue to read aloud.

The sound of the ball bouncing on the floor to the wall, and back, filled the entire room. This would normally bring people on the vicinity to come and complain about the noise. However, it seemed that the place had been abandoned. Almost everyone was in cryosleep. Either by choice or because of crimes committed, but either way, everyone was asleep in one of the pods.
Everyone, except Isaac.
There was, supposedly, a shortage of food. Nothing serious, just the birth rate of the animals in the Garden was now slightly lower than the death rate. As soon as this information was released, lots of people rushed into cryosleep pods, and would only be waked when the shortage was over. The people who didn't do this, where convinced by their androids to take a few years of sleep, just in case.
This wasn't the case for literally everyone, but the area in which Isaac lived was left abandoned, leaving him alone with his android.
"I'm bored." Said Isaac, to no one in particular, as he bounced the ball once more.
"You are always bored." Answered his android Artemis. Who was getting particularly annoyed of Isaac complaining.
"Yeah, because there is nothing to do." Replied Isaac with little interest. He was starting to find the movement of the ball mesmerizing.
"Well go and DO something! Don't you have anything to fix?" Artemis was on the verge of strangling Isaac. He always wondered why he always got the annoying humans.
"No, because everyone is so scared of the so called "food shortage" that they decided to take a nap." He thought for a moment, and then asked "Why do you have a female name? Even though you are supposed to resemble a male human?"
"For the last time! Artemis can be used both for female and male! I have explained this countless times! Why do you keep asking?" Artemis was now considering if killing Isaac was worth the punishment. It probably was, he decided, but, of course, did nothing.
"Because I'm bored." Isaac stopped bouncing the ball, and started to blink his right eye repeatedly. It was starting to hurt again. "Hey, Art. Will you pass me my drops?"
"You have legs of your own." Replied Artemis.
"Yes, but I would be oh so thankful, if you passed them to me." Said Isaac.
"No you wouldn't"
"You are right!" Isaac and stood up to get his drops. "I thought you were supposed to make my life easier."
"That's the problem, you thought. You shouldn't try to do things you are not capable of." Replied Artemis, not entirely joking. "And you are wrong, I am here to make sure you don't do anything stupid and endanger yourself, or other people for that matter. I am not your baby sitter."
"Same thing." Isaac looked at his eye on the mirror. The iris was yellow, like always. However, his eye has been bloodshot lately, and it has started to hurt more often. He dropped a couple of drops into his eye. The effect, thankfully, was almost immediate. Driving the pain away, and reviving what was left of his tear ducts.
"How does my eye look?" Isaac asked Artemis.
"Wonderful, you don't look ugly anymore."
"You are being sarcastic." Said Isaac, who obviously knew the answer.
"Absolutely. You should get a medal."
"How far did I activate your sarcasm level?" Isaac was starting to regret activation the sarcasm option into his android.
"It is maxed out." Artemis smiled at Isaac.
"Oh great."

Lynn's legs were sore from so much walking... She didn't want to have to turn her Life Assistance Android off, but she just wouldn't shut up about the improvements..! Didn't they have enough improvements already? This was pointless... Everybody's alive right? Good. Then we don't need any more flippen improvements. Lynn sighed depressingly , and went to stare off into the distance. And that's when she noticed something; Where was everybody? This sudden question stuck in Lynn's head activated some Anxiety. Oh god-- what if they were improving so much because the humans were killed? Did the Androids go insane, like all of the old horror movies?!

"A-AALIS.. What... H-Happened to everyb-"
"Everyone is in Cryosleep."
"...." Oh. Lynn let out a sigh of relief, realizing there wasn't much to worry about now.

Lynn decided to go exploring once again, to check out the new equipment designs and fixtures AALIS told her about. With all the humans asleep, their Assistance Androids must have had a lot of time on their hands... "Are you sure it's this way?" Lynn asked, looking around behind, and at the door in front of her. This door lead to... what was it again? Oh, relaxation center. Right. AALIS opened the heavily locked entrance door, and they both stepped in.

"...It's... so quiet here. Almost ghostly..." Lynn's voiced echoed, looking over the empty buildings and relaxation chairs. "Quite." AALIS responded, shutting the door behind them. It wasn't odd for her to do this, for it was what everyone was supposed to do after leaving a room. Yet, for some reason it gave Lynn a suspicious feeling. Was everyone really asleep?

Isaac kept bouncing the ball, distracted, thinking what to do.
"You know." Started Artemis. "You could continue trying to fix that computer of yours." As long as it kept him from complaining, anything was a good thing for him to do.
"Because the motherboard is completely fried! And a computer without a motherboard, is as useful as a rock. Actually, the rock can be more useful." Isaac looked a Artemis. "How come you don't know that? I thought you were the all knowing Android."
"I never said I was anything of the sorts. I just wasn't aware what was the problem you encountered with the computer." Replied Artemis indignant.
"You are never aware of anything". The ball bounced at a wrong angle, and came back hitting Isaac on the head.
"Ouch." He complained, rubbing his head where the ball had hit.
"Smooth" Artemis laughed.
"Shut up." Replied Isaac annoyed.
"You see. This is what makes me assume that your level of intelligence is lower than the standard."
"Making a mistake doesn't mean anything related to my level of intelligence." Isaac stood up, and headed for the front of his "shop" as he liked to call it. In there, there was a small desk separating the shop from the outside. That was were he attended his clients, who came to him for repairs.
"Why do you have this desk here?"
"Because it looks professional." Isaac looked for his second computer. However, this one had a special use.
"It looks dumb." Sadly, Artemis couldn't comprehend how to run a business. You had to look profesional.
"Ah! Here it is." Isaac took out a small 13 inch laptop. He opened it to reveal a black screen filled with green numbers, and a bunch of words here and there. However, this was what Isaac used it for. I showed all the information there was to show. The pressure of the zone, the amount of electricity used, the deaths of both people and animals, as well as the birth. He also had readings of every cryosleep pod that existed, as well as the ones that were been built. Every reading was at his hands.
Artemis peeked over Isaac's shoulder. "Anything new?"
"Not really. There are already 5 baby chickens, and more are being born. The death rate of animals is getting lower, which is no surprise, since everyone is sleeping." Isaac checked the pods readings. "It seems that all pods are stable. No one has gotten out, no wait! Someone just got out of one not long ago."
"How do you know?"
"Well, the pod isn't pressurized any more, it is also not frozen anymore. Ah and also. It says deactivated NEXT TO THE POD NUMBER!" Isaac pointed at the pod number. "You are an absolute genius" He said with all the sarcasm he could.
"Shut up!" Artemis didn't like to be seen as an ignorant.
"It seems the person has been there for a while. It is pod number 19. Not someone who got there from fear of the "shortage". Must have committed a small crime."
"How do you know its not a big crime?"
"Because there hasn't passed 500 years yet."
"Oh yeah." Artemis got mad at himself for giving fuel to Isaac for future insults. "And who is this person?"
"How am I supposed to know? I can only see the state of the pods, not who is inside of them."
"Do you think he'll come to get something fixed?" Artemis let the question out before he analyzed how stupid it was.
"The person must have been asleep for some years, I don't think he'll need anything fixed." Isaac turned around and looked at his Android. "Is there something wrong with you? Here, let me take a look."
"Woah! Go away, don't touch me!"

Lynn paused for a moment, as if she had just seen a ghost walk in front of her. Were those voices? Lynn couldn't quite make out what there were saying,meaning that they must have been pretty far off. Lynn furrowed her eyebrows confused, turned her head towards AALIS. But AALIS must have heard it too, for she had been analyzing the area, looking for dangerous lifeforms. "Did... y-"
Lynn tried to make out the first words, but she was interrupted by the quick thinking Android."I'm sorry, I was incorrect. Not everybody went into Cryosleep."AALIS informed, discovering that the voices they heard most likely belonged to two human male's. "But I tho-" "It's coming from there." AALIS pointed, then began walking to an old looking building, expecting Lynn to follow. Which she did. Once they got close enough, Lynn began to take notice and curiosity of the building. It looks old.. must have been here since the Preservation was built... Lynn thought to herself.

AALIS lead Lynn down the 'sidewalk', towards where AALIS confirmed the voices.
"I don't think they need anything fixed....Is there something wrong with you? Here, let me take a look."
"Woah, Go away! Don't touch me!"
AALIS blinked confusingly at the two, who most likely hadn't noticed her's and Lynn's presence. "Is there a problem.." AALIS asked, annoyed that she entered protection mode for nothing.

Isaac turned around, and saw the two "visitors".
"Eh, no. It's nothing." He said, looking at them both. Well, at least trying, since his right eye was as good as useless. He closed it so he could concentrate using his left eye. They were both girls. One of them was an android, he was sure, mostly because of the authority she had used on her voice. The other one, looked like she had been rudely awaken, which mean that she had recently been woken from cryosleep. Most probably from the pod he had noticed earlier. Either way, they were here for something, and he hoped it was to get something fixed.
"So, do you need anything fixed?" He asked.
"Please, give him something to do. He is driving me insane." Said Artemis, then he noticed AALIS. "Oh, its you!"
"Oh, so you know each other?" Isaac asked surprise. "You never told me you knew other people." He placed his hands on were his heart was, faking sadness. "I thought I was your only friend. You just broke my heart."
"Shut up! You are making things worse."
"Every time you open your mouth, things get worse." Isaac was now getting annoyed at Artemis tone.
"I will SLAP you, if you don't shut up!"
