Himeko Katsukawa

don't know the actual meaning of maturity, but to me maturity is when a person hurts you and you try to understand their situation, rather than hurting them back.. (Voice added!)

Bright / Compassionate / Emotional / Energetic / Generous / Loyal / Warmhearted

вα∂ тяαιтs:
Cowardly / Foolish / Gullible / Inconsistent / Overemotional / Stubborn / Weak-willed

ᘉαтυяε:
Himeko is a very kind girl and tries to see the best in everyone. She is compassionate and driven, always going out of her way to help those in need. She is a generous soul, and is always willing to give to others. She has a bright outlook on life and is very optimistic. She has been hurt in the past, but she doesn't blame anyone involved, Imagenot even the girls who made her feel too humiliated to leave her own house. At times she can be emotional, and sometimes it becomes a problem, but other times she is able to connect to others very well because she tries to understand their struggle and can sympathize with those around her. She is a very forgiving person, some would say to a fault. She finds it hard to hold grudges against those around her, because she often tries to put herself in their shoes, and ultimately she let's bygones be bygones. Although her past experiences have left her emotionally scarred, she is a loyal friend. She is very supportive and would never do anything to intentionally harm those she cares about. She can be a bit cowardly at times, seeing as she is easily scared, and very gullible. She is somewhat foolish, and struggles with school a great deal. She is a stubborn girl, and does not shake from her morals, but she Imageis also weak-willed. Himeko doesn't fight for what she wants, only for what she believes in.

Qυιякs:
● Himeko hates the quiet pauses that take place in conversations, finding them to be awkward and hard to handle. She will often keep talking rather than allow a pause, which often times results in her saying something she shouldn't.

● She believes in ghosts, demonic possession, and all sorts of hocus pocus. She is easily frightened due to this, and regardless of how many times someone tries to assure her, she does not change her beliefs.

● It is counterintuitive, but Himeko watches horror movies often, Imagedespite being unable to sleep afterwards. She enjoys the movies, but they also scare her out of her wits and she becomes to paranoid to sleep.

● She just so happens to be lactose intolerant, meaning Himeko cannot eat ice cream, drink milk, etc.

ℓιкεs:

Cheerleading
She was a cheerleader before her mother got sick, and now that she's returning to her old hometown and her mother's health is considerably better, Himeko plans to try out for the squad again. She was co-captain of the squad in Junior High, but she dropped everything and switched schools after being taunted by other girls over her confession. She wants to make her old hobbies Image
matter again, and regain her old friends, or make new friends on the team if she must. Though she does hope that no one remembers her as the girl who was publicly denied in Junior high, she doubts she'd be that lucky, especially where she was so good at cheerleading.

Hanging out
She has always been a social person, and loves to hang out with friends. She hasn't been able to do a lot of that, but now that her mother is doing better she can do a lot of things she used to be to busy to do... besides, she wants to stay out of Ren's hair as much as she can, seeing as Ren was taking care of the huge emotional mess she was back then and taking care of their sickly mother as well... It took Himeko months to begin her fair share, so she Imagewants to start living her life again to show Ren he doesn't have to take care of her anymore and hanging out, making friends, that's the only way to do it.

∂islikes:

Talking about the past
Whether it's about the refusal of her feelings or her mother's illness, Himeko does not enjoy reminiscing on the past. She avoids conversations that reflect back to that time the best she can and is not beyond walking out on someone who brings up those years if they refuse to drop the subject. She doesn't see the point in looking back on the past, because it only causes people pain.. She feels she has moved on and is healing, so it angers her that people would reopen the wound so carelessly.Image

Flirting
Due to the fact she's shut herself away from guys, Himeko has grown to detest flirting, and does not partake in it. She grows irritated when guys flirt with her, but does her best to be kind, so long as they keep their hands to themselves. She thinks poorly of men who flirt for the fun of it, and doesn't like to share their company because she feels it is rather promiscuous for someone to flirt with people whom they do not intend to court or form a relationship with.

тαℓεηтs:
★ Event planning

ℱєαяѕ:

Panic
She has experienced panic attacks ever since childhood. She is always afraid of experiencing her next attack due to the chest pain and helplessness involved. Her anxiety is rather severe, but usually she can calm herself down if she is given a paper bag to breath in. Regardless of having the condition mostly under control, it is still a terrifying experience and it is quite painful.

Androphobic
ImageEver since she confessed that she liked the eldest Kitomura sibling and was turned down, she has been afraid to get close to guys in fear of rejection. She hesitates to become friends with guys and is very much against being touched by one in any context. She doesn't blame him, but she also doesn't feel the need to try again because she's terrified of what it might bring. She often has a violent reaction despite her generally kind nature.

Acrophobia
She has always had a fear of heights. She does not like going anywhere above the third floor of a building, and she refuses to go on rooftops of buildings, period. She doesn't like hiking, because it usually involves cliffs and mountains, which is just as bad as being in a tall building, or worse.

Ren Katsukawa

Hιsтσяү:

Himeko was born the youngest child to a rather wealthy family. She is the only daughter in the Katsukawa bloodline and has one older brother. Himeko was an energetic and sweet young girl as a child, very artistic and very bold. She has retained a lot of her personality, but after being Imageturned down by the eldest Kitomura son, she had a rough patch. She was being taunted by girls at school, and subsequently she chose to finish Junior High elsewhere. When Himeko was twelve years old her mother, Kyoko Katsukawa fell ill rather suddenly. Her father Ryou paid for the best doctors in Japan, yet not a single theory resulted from the numerous tests. None of the doctors had a clue as to what caused her illness, nor did they know how to treat it. It was assumed that Kyoko would die before the year was through. Though against all odds, Kyoko's fever broke, and she survived. Her recovery was slow, but little by little Kyoko became able to return to tasks she once enjoyed, like cooking for example. Her condition however has not improved in some time, and her health is still rather fragile. Kyoko cannot do strenuous work such carrying Imagelaundry or even taking the garbage out without risking falling back into her illness. In their father's absence, Ren and his sister Himeko took on certain household responsibilities that Kyoko had been medically deemed unable to do. Ryou, Himeko's father, is a very busy businessman so all of the 'man of the house' authority fell onto Ren's shoulders while he was alive. He was the one who had to make sure his sister didn't get in trouble or get caught up with the wrong guys, but that never happened anyway. She learnt her lesson and hasn't wanted to be in a relationship since she confessed. She holds no ill feelings against Kurou, but Ren did. She is now a freshman in high school, finally returning to her hometown although her brother Ren died a few years ago. His death was mysterious, and they finally had to move back home, because they couldn't deal with living in the town he died in any longer. She is optimistic, but part of her also worries that some people might remember her.

"N-No, there's no particular reason."

Kurumi couldn't remove the words from her mind. She was certain that he stumbled on his words. In all honesty, it was absolutely adorable, but it was also pleasant to know that she had struck a chord. Kurou wasn't unassailable after all, and that thought reassured her, as cruel as that might have been. After everything he had put her through, it was nice to know that he was pervious to emotional pain as well. Back then Kurou was an inexpungible force in Kurumi's eyes, she had no way to make him hurt the way he had hurt her. While she was no longer seeking revenge, it was flattering to know she could make him stammer like that. So I do have some kind of effect on him, even if I'm not sure what that is exactly..

"Shhh. My mom will come get me if she hears boys in the room. Heeeeey Momm.. I'll bring Nemui by after school on Monday. She has work all weekend. Night mom, I'm exhausted. We're laying down as I speak. Kurumi's about to turn out the lights. Love you!"

Kurumi tilted her head, not even realizing that Shin had spoke to her, and she also did not notice that Himeko's phone rang. She wondered how long she had been lost among her own thoughts, but she decided it was best to play it off. Kurumi nodded to Himeko, placing a finger to her sparkly cherry glossed lips to remind everyone else to remain quiet. It felt invigorating knowing they were technically doing something rebellious. She knew that no one's parents would be very fond of what transpired tonight, but they were all teenagers, they had to make their own mistakes. Doing something bad was something foreign to Kurumi, but the adrenaline rush was a welcomed feeling.

"I-I'll try to cover for you this weekend.."

As she contemplated what could happen if Himeko's mother found out that there were boys here, and the fact her daughter was handcuffed to an older guy, she realized they would have to cross their t's and dot every i to keep from getting in trouble this weekend. Kurumi nodded her head, agreeing with Nemui when she mentioned having Himeko's back, "I'll do my best to help as well. I can't allow a guest to get in trouble for attending a party I planned after all. It'll be okay, Himeko-chan, just don't enjoy Ogawa-san too much, kay?" Kurumi added with a thoughtful expression, tapping her cheek as she spoke before switching the mood with a teasing tone and a giggle. Kurumi was surprisingly rather nonchalant about the ordeal, considering her personality. However, unto everyone else's knowledge, Kurumi was well versed in lying, seeing as she had managed to keep her crumbling health a secret from literally everyone aside from her health specialists. She wasn't anxious about the weekend, in fact, her current disposition could be described as devil-may-care despite being Kurou's personal servant for two whole weeks. He'll probably just make me do errands and cook... I can handle all of that. Bring it on, Kurou-san

"S-Some of us already grabbed a stick in your absence, t-they were all face down so it shouldn't matter."

"O-Oh I forgot to get one." Kurumi replied in shock, reaching for a stick from the coffee table, almost falling off the arm of the couch. She managed to collect a stick, peeking at the number before shoving it in her bra. She didn't feel like holding onto it anymore or risking the stick falling and revealing her number to the group. Kurumi could finally feel her medication kicking in, sensation returning to her legs. She let out a relieved sigh, both because she could feel her legs, and the fact that Kurou did not catch her taking the medication. She would kill him if he found out, but she also simply did not want to know what his reaction would be. If Kurumi had to guess, she assumed that Kurou likely wouldn't even care that she was ill, so she preferred that he remained incognizant.

"So, I have an elderly grandmother next door that needs my assistance. I'd like to move things along if it doesn't bother anyone else?"

"Gomen, Gomen." Kurumi responded, an enchanted smile forming on Kurumi's lips. She respected that Izaya was taking care of his grandmother in Ren's absence. The two boys despite their young age seemed to be really mature and caring, she couldn't help but admire that.

"Can everyone make sure they've retrieved a stick from the table so someone can give an order?"

"Can everyone who hasn't acquired a stick retrieve one?" Kurumi's tone was far more patient, but the adrenaline in her system kept her quite exuberant and eager to continue the game. Now that she did not have to worry about her legs caving in on her tonight, Kurumi was far less concerned with the consequences of the game or Kurou's reign. Kurumi's eyes shifted to Yukito, then to Aina. Something had happened between them, but to be frank she didn't give a damn. It wasn't her business, and Aina was not Nemui. She was not interested in protecting anyone else. Even assisting Himeko in keeping her mother in the dark for the entire weekend was a selfish endeavor. Kurumi just wanted to cover her own ass and keep Nemui from getting in trouble with her. Perhaps it made her a bad person, but the hard truth was that Kurumi did not have the mental or physical energy to be a hero. She had to pick her battles, and this was not going to be one of them, so whatever happened, Aina would just have to move past it. Kurumi was very accustomed to moving along, despite having no answers, no closure. If she could do it, she knew that the kindhearted foreigner could do the same. Her attention then fell on Shin, "What are you going to do if you get called in for work..? Will it be easy to cancel?" She knew what his job was, she remembered him from the time he spent working with her mother. Whether anyone else in the room knew, she was unaware. The last thing that needed to happen was Himeko being spotted with Shin again, especially after that news article other girls whispered about at school only a day prior.

ImageThere was no denying that everyone was eyeing him with suspicion, especially when he returned with a rather distraught Aina. The girl was relatively his senior, but it seemed they were well-aware that he was not a harmless kid who could only play pranks of the simple kind. Aren't they too wary? But, it also meant that they were not simple-minded individuals. They are easy preys then for the taking, so like as always, Yukito was effortlessly calm and unaffected. He took his seat and looked at Himeko who told him haplessly that it's his turn. "Thank you." He simply said and picked a stick nonchalantly looking at his number.

It was at that point that Himeko received a call from her mother apparently. Well, that was normal right? Hiding things from parents, they all do that. He had done that ever since and not only to parents, but to everyone he has met in the span of his life. That's why he would like to reveal such things at the most opportune moment. It was fun seeing people's reaction after all. It's probably why he enjoyed treating people as some disposable toy. They would probably say that he has such a twisted perception, but hey, he was certain he was not the only one.

Anyway, he paused his personal musings and listened to Himeko lying to her mother. If her mother was not a dull nail when it comes to comprehension, she would have been found out immediately. Nemui even offered her help to serve as an alibi along with Kurumi. Aren't they helpful vixens? Right now, he would let them revel in the notion that secrets could be kept in a vault. The phone call soon ended and they resumed. As for the sticks on the table, others already seemed to have pick theirs as he glanced at Nemui who spoke out about it. "No problem about that, Nemui-san." There it was his courteous smile as he shifted his attention to the newcomer, Izaya.

"Ah, yes. Mari-baachan. Then, let's hurry it up then." He gathered the remaining sticks and then have the others who have yet to take theirs. When it came for Aina's turn, he was his usual self as always, but there was the subtle touch of his fingers on her hand as the stick was taken. Intentional or not, the fleeting touch made the foreign girl pulled away in surprise. She even had a faint blush on her cheeks, depicting more to that action. "Oh, I'm sorry if I startled you Malik-senpai." His voice delivered concerned which was reflected by his entire being.

"Are you feeling sick?" He further asked as he reached out his hand to check on her temperature, but it didn't touch her as she moved away from that gesture. "Ah, no! I am fine. Thank you, Kitomura-kun." Aina answered quickly as not to offend Yukito and anyone else while she smiled as best as she could. This was returned by him with a warm smile, showing not even an inch of being offended or even minding what she did. "No need to thank me. You're a guest after all. Well then, let's start again."

Nothing was indeed different from Yukito. He was as smooth and pristine as a clear blue sky. A mask always perfectly placed without the slightest crack, hiding his deepest and truest emotion, by chance even, his real self. Well, he has to be to enjoy this game of his. "So, who's going to be King for this round?"

ImageAina was trying hard to ease herself. She really wanted to forget what had happened earlier and fortunately for her, it would be once she sleeps, but then again, it won't be quick enough. Just like how, she wasn't quick enough to hide her discomfort as Himeko called out to her out of concern. She immediately looked at the younger girl as she calmed her nerves. She was really taken aback by the question in the most pleasant way, seeing someone was concerned about her. That was warming and she didn't want to spoil the night as she noticed that Yukito was calm and collected as ever taking his seat.

"Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for asking, Katsukawa-chan." She answered with a grateful smile. That calmed her a bit and gathered her wits about her. She then by coincidence noticed a space beside Izaya, Ren's cousin. Somehow, she was drawn to that space. She quickly sat there and somehow, she felt more comfortable. It was probably because of her connection to Izaya from the past. It might be nothing great or even major, but it was enough to anchor her down. In this room of strangers really, he was the one thing she won't forget by tomorrow. "Uhm, I hope you don't mind me sitting beside you." She looked at Izaya in a shy manner with her eyes reflecting her concern and the light hint of fear.

At that point, Himeko had a phone call and she took that moment to put order into her cluttered thoughts because of what happened earlier with Yukito. She called out to him in concern. He appeared so deep in though and his face was blank indeed, but what caught her was those eyes of his glimmering in an emotion she was well-acquainted with. The look of confusion, frustration and defeat... the irredeemable feeling of lost. That's why she called out to him, but she didn't expect the next events that transpired. Her hands were placed on her lap and gripped on each other rather tightly.

"He stole it... Why?"

Those words repeated inside her head head and she was taken from that stupor when she saw a hand with a stick in front of her. "Hmm?" She then looked at the owner of the hand and met Yukito's gaze. She felt another blush coming up and before it could surface, she took the stick but that lead to that touch. It startled her as she pulled away and it was a good thing that she didn't drop the stick she got. This was really not fair because she could see clearly that she was being effortlessly played by Yukito who was younger by two years. This was really embarrassing as she just wanted to hide or be swallowed right now into the darkness.

"Get yourself together, Aina! Get it together!" She took a deep breath and tried to act as mature as she can be, but it was a bit hard every time she looked at Yukito., but she allowed herself to focus on the game. It was also helpful that Yukito asked who the King was for this round and that was the only time she managed to look at the stick she got. "Oh, I'm the King..." She said in surprise. She didn't expect that. It meant she was safe, but that also meant she would need to give an order, right? Somehow, that really doesn't sound too good... She looked at everyone and avoided looking at Yukito but, "So, what's the order?" That's just ended it for her as she made an order she'd rather take back.

ImageAt the very moment, Shin wanted to apologize to Aina on Yukito's behalf. It was clear that the younger boy had done something unbecoming, but then again that's simply how the famous Fuwa Ichigo is. Somehow also, he appeared to be an overly protective mother hen and some kind of janitor cleaning up Yukito's mess, but someone has to. It was more evident since even the older brother appeared to be clueless about the inner machinations of the younger brother. Well, he couldn't blame that. Yukito mastered the mask. The only reason he could would be because... they were the same.

In any case, he would try to clear things with Aina when he gets the chance. He was certain that the call Yukito got came from that person. The foreign girl was simply a casualty in the younger boy's outburst, but his attention was momentarily taken by Himeko who received a call from her mother. That's right she just can't tell her mom that she would be staying over with a boy of unknown personality for a couple of days and notably handcuffed to each other. He wasn't able to think that through, since he had this whole scenario of asking permission from her parents.

It was a good thing that Nemui and even Kurumi would help Himeko in covering up her whereabouts for the weekend. There was also the added teasing remark from Kurumi to Himeko. He chose to ignore that as he really didn't want to make a bigger deal about it, especially when the girl he was cuffed with seemed very agitated about the very idea of it. He really didn't want to make it worse. After all, they quite have a troublesome first meeting involving the gossip columns and the big misunderstanding at the school due Yukito's seemingly innocent statements. It would be best not to aggravate the situation anymore.

The newcomer Izaya commented to hurry up the game and he couldn't agree on that part. That's when Yukito offered the sticks and he got his. He took a look and it seemed he wasn't the King for this round. At that part, he noticed the rather odd exchange between Yukito and Aina. It seemed that Yukito did even something far worse than what he was earlier thinking of. It made him wonder what did that person tell Yukito on the phone. He would have to call and find out just for good measures. He was also at the receiving end when Yukito lashes out.

But, his attention was taken from Yukito and Aina when Kurumi asked him about his work during the period he's cuffed to Himeko. "I'll call the agency to give me some time off." That was the best course of action to avoid any unnecessary trouble. He then glanced at Himeko's way. "I don't want to cause any more trouble" He then returned to look at his stick at the exact moment when Yukito asked who the next King was. That was answered by a surprised Aina. Well if she was the King, she would probably give a more decent order.

However.... "5 and 6 would French kiss for two minutes! I'm so sorry!" Aina immediately covered her mouth as if she said for the spur of the moment. Well, that was not decent and Shin knew Yukito was involved as he was also the one who asked what the order would be. He looked at the younger male who met his gaze. "What is it Leech-kun? Are you 6?" Yukito showed he's 5 while Shin shook his head. "No."

"I-I'll try to cover for you this weekend.."

"A-Arigato.. Nemui-chan" Himeko mumbled unequipped to respond to such selflessness, a light blush forming on her cheeks. Although she was not attracted to girls, she couldn't help but adore Nemui. It was a strange feeling, having someone other than Ren help her fool her mother, but also having someone not related to her willing to help her. She didn't have many friends at her last school, and the ones she did have would never have agreed to risk getting in trouble for her. To hear Nemui offer so quickly, it was almost too much for Himeko to take. She wanted to hug the girl then and there, and she was in close enough proximity, but she then remembered she was chained to another person. She couldn't do anything without considering Shin for the next two days. She doubted he would want to get in on the chick moment, so she resisted the urge.

"I'll do my best to help as well. I can't allow a guest to get in trouble for attending a party I planned after all. It'll be okay, Himeko-chan, just don't enjoy Ogawa-san too much, kay?"

"Ku-Kurumi-Senpai!" Himeko squealed the girl's name out in surprise, a dark blush burning her cheeks. She had a feeling that this group would never let her live down the misunderstandings with Shin, an annoyed sigh escaping her lips. How many times did she have to tell people? She held back saying more until her blush died down, giving her irritation time to simmer down. She couldn't be too angry, seeing as Kurumi offered to help her avoid her mother finding out as well, "While I appreciate I'm Asexual. I don't look at him like that. Besides, if I was going to like someone, they wouldn't be high profile. No offense, Ogawa-Senpai." she replied matter-of-factly in a defensive tone. While she did not intentionally want to stomp upon Shin's ego, she also was tired of the teasing aimed at the two of them, mostly from Kurumi and Yukito. While Shin seemed to be a far better prospect compared to Kurou and Yukito, Himeko refused to see anyone as worthy romantic material after the traumatic experience with Kurou. She had not yet emotionally healed and worried that she would either get herself hurt again, or even worse, she would hurt whomever she fell for.

"Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for asking, Katsukawa-chan."

Himeko was a little disappointed that her senior didn't discuss what was plaguing her, but it wasn't like she could force it out of her. Out of respect for her senior's wishes, Himeko dropped it, "Alright, if you say so, Malik-Senpai..." disbelief was evident in her tone as she looked to Shin, Izaya, and Kurumi, wondering if anyone else suspected Yukito as the culprit. There was literally nothing that anyone could do unless Aina spoke up, because accusing Yukito without evidence would clearly cause chaos to ensue.

"Thank you."

"Don't thank me, we just want to get this devil's game over with." Himeko responded to Yukito with indifference, a notable frown on her face. She wasn't sure what his angle was, but she knew one thing was for sure, Aina was covering up something. Whether the girl was too terrified to speak about it, too humiliated, or saving the group from a bad night, that was anyone's guess. Despite Yukito's relaxed and friendly demeanor, Himeko was no longer buying the facade he was selling. She was one hundred percent convinced that he was a demon.

"What are you going to do if you get called in for work..? Will it be easy to cancel?"

Himeko's eyes widened a bit and she immediately tensed under the blanket she shared with Nemui, hugging it closer to her body nervously. She did not want to be on the news again. If her picture never showed up in a news article, it would be too soon. She liked being low key, she did not want a high profile life like the Kitomura family and Shin.

"I'll call the agency to give me some time off. I don't want to cause any more trouble"

Himeko felt his eyes land on her for a split second, and she avoided acknowledging it. His eyes were intimidating, and looking into them only reminded her of the kiss they had shared. Remembering the kiss only brought unnecessary embarrassment, so she figured it was best to only look him in the eyes when absolutely necessary. Hopefully I'll just forget the kiss ever happened... Considering it had been her first kiss, she realized how unlikely that would be, but a girl like her needed wishful thinking at a time like this. She would accept denial if it helped her cope with her crazy excuse for a life.

"Oh, I'm the King..."

Oh, it's Aina-Senpai. It won't be too bad then... Nemui surprised everyone though, so I shouldn't drop my guard. Himeko thought to herself, leaning back into the couch. She wanted to rest her head somewhere, but she had no access to the couch arms, and leaning her head on Shin or Nemui would be too forward. She didn't know either of them well enough to pull a stunt like that, plus it would only make the teasing worse if she chose to do something like that with Shin.

"So, what's the order?"

"Give her a minute, why don't cha?" Himeko stated in a sharp tone. No one liked being badgered, and she figured it would only make Aina nervous. Though she did not see what came next coming, not in a million years.

"5 and 6 would French kiss for two minutes! I'm so sorry!"

Himeko nearly spat out her drink when she heard Aina's order, having not expected something like that from her. She wasn't sure if it was from Yukito provoking Aina, or if the foreign girl was simply trying to keep up with the way this game seemed to be escalating. Either way, Himeko was relieved to know that she would not have to participate. Seven minutes with Shin in the closet while everyone watched was enough embarrassment for one life time as far as she was concerned.

"What is it Leech-kun? Are you 6?"

Once she realized who had the stick with the number five written on it, she was really glad that she had not drawn the number six. She then gazed around the room, wondering who drew the stick. When Yukito mentioned Shin, Himeko's face was warmed by a crimson blush. The mental image of Yukito and Shin french kissing was too much for the strawberry-blonde. It caused a bit of her sanity to crack. She would not be able to watch something like that happen in real life! She could only endure so much hotness in one day before she would break.

"No."

"It's not me either. For once." Himeko replied with a happy-go-lucky expression on her face, obviously pleased that she managed to dodge a bullet this round. Kissing Yukito was the last thing she ever wanted to do, especially after all the torment he put her through when it came to Shin. She felt sorry for whoever had to lock lips with someone as deceptive and sadistic as him, "Then who is?"

So, there was obviously something wrong here.

Granted, that was common in this household, especially so when his brother and someone else returned alone. Even moreso when said person is a girl. It also did not help that she probably irked Yuki when she had brought up personal matters unwittingly earlier. Honestly, something was bound to happen. Unfortunately, it was not as though Kurou knew his brother perfectly and could tell exactly what occurred just by the girl's reaction alone. He assumed she did not want to be caught in an empty room with him again, but that's about it. Again, Yukito was much more creative a person than Kurou. The fact that she was only acting a bit strange and not breaking down into tears or something worse could only mean that he did nothing too serious, and if that was the case then there was no real reason for him to worry. He was probably venting or something, and it's not like he could really do anything about that.

"Hey, stop doing... whatever it is you're doing, it's mean!"

These words would sound very odd coming from Kurou's mouth, considering how he was. Instead, just like a lot of other things, Kurou had decided to ignore it because it honestly wasn't his problem. What happened between his brother and someone else should only concern them. He was a very selfish person who only went out of his way when it mattered to him.

More importantly than thinking about other people, he wondered just exactly what he could do to tease his victims? He was already sure what he wanted to do with Himiko, namely forcing her to do his errands and cooking, she'll never expect that, would she? She, among the others, perhaps thought he would try to get them to do something even more scandalous! A rough draft of sorts for his original order was to have two people grope each other, but considering just how badly-received the kissing order was, he didn't feel like that kind of torture. His main goal was to win, and he couldn't imagine someone beating out being the king for two weeks! He had the potential to upstage anything done, after all! That being said, if he had given his original order than that meant Katsukawa would've been victim to that order too. It was a joke earlier, but now that he thought about it, she really shouldn't gamble. Lady Luck was indeed against her, so it would seem.

What would be fun to make her do?

He didn't know Katsukawa very well, aside from the fact she did not like him one bit. Maybe he could use that? If he wanted to be really sadistic, would it not be wise to make the order to be his girlfriend for a while? That way, they were always close and she would have to deal with him, whether she liked it or not? No, wait, he'd already done that pretend dating thing before and now his ex was his sister. Though it was very unlikely, he didn't want a repeat. What if he was cursed and anybody he dated, real or not, was bound to become a sibling?

Kurou shuddered at the thought.

Well, he could always see if she'll cough up some more information about herself, particularly why she disliked him so intensely. He was used to people eventually coming to hate him, but before they even met? That was very strange, he didn't get to give his first impression before she started off on him!

But no, he couldn't do that either. He was aware there must be some reason, and he also felt like he knew it too, he just couldn't recall anything vital. That kind of info, though, needed to be given willingly. He was an ass, but at heart he wasn't entirely bad. Even if he would never admit that.

Of course, for Yukito, there was little to say. Yukito did make good food, so maybe he'd get his brother to make something. That sounded good. He could not force his brother to do anything that would affect his work, so only small things were possible, really. Perhaps he'd think of something better in the future as he had two weeks, but Yuki was not the focus of his order, just a casualty since he wanted a better chance at snagging a certain woman to be his victim.

"5 and 6 would French kiss for two minutes! I'm so sorry!"

Apparently, he had been so lost in odd thoughts that he didn't even notice Aina had become the King (or Queen, technically) for the round. That being said, he noticed he had a losing stick in his hand so at some point he must've been paying attention. Lucky for him, he didn't need to kiss anybody, though he was pleasantly surprised to see Aina, the kind girl, give such a risque order. French kissing for two whole minutes? What lies beyond her mask of kindness?

"As much as it pains me to say this, it's not me." Kurou answered. He was definitely lacing each word with sarcasm, as he hadn't found himself very interested in any of the girls here.

At least, so they thought

"A-Arigato.. Nemui-chan"

Nemui raised both hands defensively, shaking her head, "It's no big deal really.." She laughed, brushing off her willingness to help. Even though it would be risky, and she could get in trouble, she felt it was the least she could do to make amends for accidentally ruining Himeko's first kiss. Although Shin was an impressive specimen, Nemui couldn't bare the thought of losing her first kiss to someone she did not care about. It was something she often thought about, though she doubted it would happen any time soon. To everyone outside of this room, Nemui was either target practice or conviniently invisible. Nemui hid her face by burying it in the blanket, feeling her cheeks growing hot as she fantasized about her first kiss.

"I'll do my best to help as well. I can't allow a guest to get in trouble for attending a party I planned after all."

Taken completely by surprise, Nemui lost her trail of thought when her sister spoke of aiding them in hiding Shin and Himeko's scandalous weekend, "K-Kuru-chii..." Nemui whispered, touched that her sister agreed to help her friend with nothing in return. She smiled at her older sister, so grateful that she nearly cried from happiness.

"It'll be okay, Himeko-chan, just don't enjoy Ogawa-san too much, kay?"

"Ku-Kurumi-Senpai!"

Himeko had stole the words right out of her mouth. Due to all the manga Nemui read and her active imagination, she got a clear image in her head of Himeko and Shin in steamy situations. Nemui closed her eyes and pulled the blanket up past her nose to hide the deepening blush on her cheeks. She didn't want anyone to think she was a pervert, because that would be a huge misunderstanding! She wasn't sure if Kurumi meant sexually, but that's exactly where her mind had went and Nemui couldn't get the thought out of her head on her own.

"While I appreciate, I'm Asexual. I don't look at him like that. Besides, if I was going to like someone, they wouldn't be high profile. No offense, Ogawa-Senpai."

Asexual...? She doesn't think of anyone romantically? Isn't that depressing and lonely for her..? Nemui thought to herself, finding herself staring at Himeko with a worried expression on her face. She was completely moved by this girl's assuredness. Nemui had no idea who she was or what she wanted, but Himeko seemed to have a definitive answer for everything. It was inspiring, but it also made Nemui feel inferior.

"Oh, I'm the King..."

Nemui felt knots forming in her stomach. The King announced herself, so now all they could do is wait for an order. Nemui completely zoned out. So far she had been lucky, but she wasn't sure how much longer her luck would last. Eventually it had to run out, right? She didn't want to find out, but she had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.

"5 and 6 would French kiss for two minutes! I'm so sorry!"

Once again, Nemui was not thrown under the butcher's knife, but that meant that someone else was. She began looking around the room, wondering who were the unfortunate victims of Aina's orders. This game seemed to bring out the dirtiest sides of everyone, herself included, so she did not judge Aina for her order. Judging by Himeko's calm expression, Nemui deduced that she was safe as well. She was relieved, seeing as her friend had taken the blunt end of so many difficult orders.

"What is it Leech-kun? Are you 6?"

Nemui realized Yukito would be one of the individuals kissing, and a light blush formed on her cheek. Despite his singing career and popularity at school, Nemui could honestly say that she had never seen Yukito kiss anybody. Realizing she was in the clear, she decided to look around, trying to figure out who would be locking lips with her brand new brother. She personally had nothing against him, aside from the fact that he may or may not have made Aina very upset. He had been nothing but kind to Nemui thus far, even though a lot of that kindness backfired against her, earning her a lot of hate from the girl's in their class.

"No."

"It's not me either. For once."

So it wasn't Himeko, Shin, or Nemui herself.. that left Kurumi, Izaya, and Kurou. She figured it would be nasty if Kurou got number six, hoping they would allow a redraw if that happened. Nemui did not want to see her brothers commit incest.

"As much as it pains me to say this, it's not me."

Nemui was relieved to find out that her stepbrothers would not have to lock lips. That left Kurumi and Izaya. She glanced between the two, biting her bottom lip as she grew pale. She wasn't sure if she could watch her sister kiss their stepbrother, because she'd forever have it in her mind, and she did not want the awkwardness to change the household. Little did she know, there were other reasons she did not want Kurumi to kiss Yukito. She simply was not aware of those reasons, because she mentally could not handle them. The truth was tucked away in her subconscious, but her stomach still ached all the same. She blamed it on the cake, but as she could see no one else seemed to be feeling sick, "S-So it's Kuru-chi or Shuuhei-san." Her voice was a whisper, and she didn't like the feeling in her gut when she vocally admitted that her sister would possibly be kissing their stepbrother.

"Ah, yes. Mari-baachan. Then, let's hurry it up then."

To say he wasn't surprised that Yukito referred to his grandmother so endearingly would be a lie. He began to wonder how well she knew this family, and why she had come to know her wealthy neighbors well enough to be spoke of so affectionately. Izaya was glad that at least someone realized why he needed to get this game going a bit quicker. At least the one in charge of passing out the sticks agreed with him. Izaya began twirling a strand of his dark hair around his finger in irritation, allowing everyone the time to possess a stick. He felt a surge of anxiety, wondering what the order would be this time around. This seemed to be a somewhat steamy game after all.. I don't know if I'll survive this...

"Oh, I'm the King..."

Once the tan skinned beauty spoke up, Izaya smirked a bit. Now that he knew she had the King role, Izaya found that he was no longer feeling very concerned. If she was anything like Ren described her to be, he felt her order would be quite tame. Besides, the chances of him being a victim of her order were quite slim. He was confident in his odds, but perhaps that's because he already won that gamble once? Note to self; I should not get in the habit of making bets.. it's a little addictive when I'm winning. I could lose a lot of cash.. Though with Yukito asked to know the order, coming across as a little too eager, Izaya could not say anything to ease the amethyst eyed woman. In this house, there was little that he could do without getting in an irate situation. Izaya was uncertain, but he believed that he saw something in Aina's facial features change after Yukito spoke to her. Tch... He definitely did something to her.. That bastard.. Izaya thought to himself, aggrevated that he was useless to Aina inside of these four walls. When he realized there was still one thing he could do, Izaya reach to place a hand on her shoulder for comfort, but she already blurted out her order.

"5 and 6 would French kiss for two minutes! I'm so sorry!"

Izaya blinked surprised, letting his hand fall on her shoulder, "It's not worse than what I have in store, so give yourself a break.. Don't stress, okay? Life goes on. The small stuff isn't worth sweating over." He assured her, seeing as she seemed to be beating herself up. It wasn't exactly her fault, seeing as she was pressured to announce her order. Izaya reluctantly removed his hand from Aina's shoulder, afraid the others would get the wrong idea. While he did not wish to be teased, he was looking out for Aina more than he was saving his own ass. He didn't want to put any more stress on her than she absolutely had to endure. Besides, she was Ren's promised, entirely off limits to Izaya. He didn't want to do something like that to his cousin, no matter how beautiful the girl next t him was. He had to have some kind of honor, right?

"What is it Leech-kun? Are you 6?"

Izaya immediately quirked a brow, wondering why Yukito referred to their senior as a Leech. It was quite strange, but he assumed there was some sort of inside joke that he was missing. Everyone here seemed to know each other on some basic level, but the only person he was even remotely acquainted with was Aina, and even then he merely knew who she was and the things Ren told him about her through rose colored eyes. He was sure he only heard the shining points, because Ren was absolutely head over heels for her as children. She's changed a lot since we were kids, I'm sure she's changed personality wise as well.. so can I even say I know her? Izaya asked himself, rubbing the back of his neck. All of this troublesome thinking was making him tired... he wished he could just call it a night already. He let out a yawn, hoping the game would get a move on already.

"No."

"It's not me either. For once."

"As much as it pains me to say this, it's not me."

The only two who were left were himself and Kurumi, so Izaya shrugged, revealing his stick. To his own relief, he was not locking lips with his fellow freshman. Being the heterosexual male he was, it would have been very nauseating to kiss another guy. He realized that he'd dodged a bullet, but that meant that Yukito would have to clash tongues with his own stepsister. He looked to Yukito, then to Kurumi trying to gauge their reactions. He knew many guys had perverted fantasies of having sexual escapades with a step-sister, but he wasn't sure if this was the case. He also wondered how Kurumi felt, seeing as girls typically seemed to be less interested in that taboo fetish, "So... your parents get married and then you practically make out on the same night. Well isn't this night proving to be worth my while.." Izaya chimed with a chuckle. He did not actually find this situation funny, but he deemed it as Karma getting this family back for forcing him to be here, so he would force himself to enjoy it if he must. Even if it was at Kurumi's expense, he realized it would put a rift between the siblings. Considering Kurou followed Kurumi upstairs, he felt that there was a little more to those two than met the eye, especially based on Kurumi's mannerisms when she returned speedily to the group. Why didn't she ask Kurou to help her carry the blankets? There was definitely something out of place between those two. He felt it in his gut, but he had no clue what it was. Regardless of what it was, he felt that if Yukito and Kurumi went through with the kiss, drama would soon plague the Kitomura house like never before, and he'd have a front row seat as their neighbor, "I'm glad I don't have a sister. he mused to make things worse.

"5 and 6 would French kiss for two minutes! I'm so sorry!"

Why is she apologizing? Seven minutes in heaven was way worse than that... Kurumi would never understand Nemui and Aina's mindsets. She honestly thought that the order was pretty good, although it would be the second kiss of the night. Though people always enjoyed watching other people feel awkward. As long as she wasn't the victim, Kurumi felt that she would enjoy this round immensely. However, something told her that she was going to be at the wrong end of this order. She just had a gut feelin- wait... She removed her stick from her bra, not yet looking at the number. She was fairly certain that she was number six.. but she was too afraid to check.

"What is it Leech-kun? Are you 6?"

Being compared to a slimy parasite must really blow.. She really felt that the nickname Yukito called Shin gave the model zero justice. Shin was aesthetically pleasing, leeches were absolutely terrifying and disgusting. To see him constantly compared to one, she couldn't help but feel a certain level of sympathy. Though they are friends.. he brings it upon himself I suppose. Ogawa-san must be a masochist. She immediately regretted that thought, because she got mental images of Shin in very...compromising situations. She bit the inside of her cheek roughly, snapping herself out of the fantasy before it could root itself in her mind planting seeds of perversion forever. She did not want to have those kinds of thoughts about her classmate, it would be too weird and she owed him enough to not think of him in that manner.

"No."

Suddenly she was starting to feel nervous. It was not Nemui or Shin. It was beginning to be clear that she was indeed her that drew the sixth stick, but she refused to accept it until everyone else denied having it. She did not wish to look, because once she checked the stick, she would be accepting that she had to kiss Yukito, her younger stepbrother. If the stepbrother ordeal wouldn't make the kiss strange enough, he was also younger than her. Even if she idolized him before he became her brother, having several of his CD's and a poster, it all changed when they began living under the same roof. She wasn't allowed to think that way, and she couldn't after realizing he was Kurou's brother. Her gut told her it would be a betrayal to Kurou, but her brain had a lot more to say on that matter. It's not betrayal. He's the one who broke up with me....still...it is Yukito...I seen him as a little brother before the marriage was final... but I have to do anything necessary to keep my secrets. I promised myself I wouldn't be the one to let it slip about me and Kurou.. and no one can know I'm sick....so I suppose I have no choice.

"It's not me either. For once."

The odds were not in her favor, but Kurumi tried to see a silver lining. There was still Kurou and Izaya. She was certain that if Kurou had drawn the stick that everyone would agree on a redraw seeing as Kurou and Yukito were blood related. She actually hoped that Kurou had the stick, because at least it meant it was not her. Things were finally becoming normal in this house, she did not wish to jeopardize that. Even if Kurou wouldn't care, she wouldn't be able to look at Yukito the same way ever again if they shared a kiss.

"As much as it pains me to say this, it's not me."

Nervousness was finally evident on Kurumi's features after Kurou stated he was free from this round's order, Damn it to hell... my only hope is that Shuuhei-san has the sixth stick.. She let out a quiet breath to relax herself, swallowing hard. Seconds felt like hours as she waited for Izaya to give everyone an answer. but to her horror, he held up his stick and it was not a six. Kurumi finally checked her stick, then held it up for the group to see, "Suppose it's me then." Before she moved here, before she knew Ichigo Fuwa was Kurou's brother, this would have been a dream moment. She would have gladly done this, but now, everything was far more complicated and she felt sick just thinking about it.

"So... your parents get married and then you practically make out on the same night. Well isn't this night proving to be worth my while.. I'm glad I don't have a sister. "

Realizing that Izaya was not as kind as she assumed, Kurumi shot him a warning glare. She did not like being the source of another's amusement, and she would bite his head off if he dared to continue. Standing up from her perch on the arm of the couch, Kurumi carefully cleared a spot on the coffee table. Once there was enough space, she sat in front of Yukito on top of it so that they could reach each other and he would not have to get up. She was nervous, made obvious by the fact that she bit her bottom lip after meeting eye contact. The fact that everyone would be watching was definitely unnerving, but there was also the fact that her ex was in the room. He had been her first kiss, and now she was about to kiss his younger brother right in front of him. The irony was not amusing her, but she did make Kurou and herself a promise, she would not be the weak link. She would not let Yukito suspect her when she could help it. She licked her lips, straightening out her long blue hoodie with the strawberry on it, "Ready when you are.." She managed to keep her voice steady, but her eyes gave away all of her anxiety. She was not ready for this kiss, that much was certain to anyone who could see her eyes, but it wasn't like she had a choice.

ImageIt was clear to Yukito that Shin was probably sticking his nose in matters that does not concern him. That's why he used a tendril of rejected seduction in a way. The pop star was well aware about the model's affection towards him which was not really on the friendly side. "Too bad." He said with a smile both bordering that of nonchalant cheer and light mischief. He then glanced at Himeko who announced that it would not be her, so that would be two down. He leaned on his chair and let the others eliminate each other’s' chances of so-called locking lips with him.

At that point, he looked at Aina who had been stealing glances at him. He managed to catch her red-handed, but he simply smiled kindly at her, before looking at his older brother sarcastically saying that it isn't him. Now, that's a whole awkward scenario that would be entertaining. He has no trouble doing it, just to have the edge of having everyone else uncomfortable. That kind of thing would even be wrapped around his finger as an advantage without a doubt. That was one vital point for him; everything he does had always been done with a reason behind, whether shallow or deep.

The next one to be eliminated was Nemui who mumbled her words. That's too bad he could have played with her more afterwards, but he does have another toy to taunt on the occasion. Then, another elimination was made by Izaya, showing his stick. So, the last option was none other than Kurumi. Well, that's indeed interesting as he took but a fleeting glance at his brother Kurou before looking at Izaya who also finally put all the pieces together with a remark. "It's good to know that you're entertained, Shuuhei-san." Ending that sentence with his friendly smile, he was completely unbothered by the prospect of kissing Kurumi. Why would he be really?

Kurumi declared that she will be his partner. After that, she changed her position to the coffee table and faced him. She was obviously nervous based on her gestures even if she was trying to appear confident and strong. That’s cute, isn’t it? He leaned in, but instead placed his lips by her ear. "Don't worry, I'll be gentle." He whispered with a softness, tickling like a feather. "You can think of someone else, like..." He paused as he faced Kurumi with his eyes reflecting her. "My brother." He continued it in a murmur but audible only for Kurumi. His breath still has the scent of sweet strawberry, and just like that he started the order by pressing his lips on hers.

Whether the mentioning of his brother surprised her or not, he pried open her lips with a playful bite on her lips with his hands now cradling her face, pulling her gently in. His tongue slipping in effortlessly as he began tasting and caressing every cavern of her mouth in an alluring dance. From anyone's standpoint, it was a rather passionate way of kissing that could be seen between real lovers or movies. It also showed that Yukito was not someone who was really innocent, he was more than familiar, he knew what to do and was not just good, but more than that. It seems the rumor about Ichigo Fuwa being an excellent kisser was true. He then pulled away as if he knew exactly that 2 minutes had already passed, but he only did so for the possibility that Kurumi might need to breath. Like always, he smiled like he always does, unperturbed. His eyes fleetingly passed on his brother then to Aina, before looking back at Kurumi. "Time's up."

ImageAina looked at Izaya as his hand landed on her shoulder. She knew that it was a sign of comfort even more so when he spoke his words. She can't help but smile at him. She really appreciated it. "Thank you very much." The only thing she wasn't certain about is his statement that his order would be far worse than hers. "But, I really didn't mean it..." She murmured more to herself as she looked down. Her order was rather due to Yukito's influence. Remembering what happened again at the kitchen, she was blushing once more as she shook her head to dismiss her thoughts about it.

She returned to reality when she felt the hand on her shoulder removed. That made her look and also glance at Yukito who seemed unnerved by the order or the prospect of kissing someone whether it to be a boy or a girl. She couldn't really understand what's going through the head of the younger Kitomura. He appeared as if his actions were the most normal, but in her mind those actions were not normal. He even said that it was nothing more but a friendly gesture. She doesn't want to doubt, but she really doubted him and it made her feel bad.

At some point, Yukito caught her glance, but he only smiled at her. That made her blush again as she looked away quickly. She wasn't sure what she was feeling, but it was enough to make her blush. Instinctively, she further closed the distance between her and Izaya, like a child seeking protection from someone familiar. She really wasn't doing it intentionally, but Izaya was the only thing that was the most familiar to her, the most comfortable person she could be beside, so to say.

It was soon revealed that Yukito's partner would be Kurumi, his step-sister. That was really awkward and she really regretted saying that order. She bit her lip and gripped both of her hands together. "Please, don’t say that." She looked at Izaya after hearing his remark about the making out thing. She then looked at Kurumi facing the order head-on. As for Yukito, he was the same as ever. How could he really be like that? That was just something she couldn't do. It was just beyond her which made her wonder if she should write that on her journal as she did say that every detail of her life. She was really tempted not to write, but she might have no choice on the matter.

Then, she was taken out of her thoughts again when Yukito and Kurumi finally kissed. It seemed to be so innocent and gentle, but then Yukito started it. She can't help but have her cheeks flushed like that of a red apple. The scene which happened earlier played inside her head like a silent film. Somehow, she felt rather dejected and wanted to wash her face. And when the kiss did end, she was surprised that she was also keeping her breath in. She really didn't notice it and when Yukito fleetingly looked at her, she gripped on Izaya's sleeve like that of a child.

Somehow, she felt trapped. It was then she finally noticed what she was doing. She looked at Izaya in apology. "I'm so sorry. I didn't notice!" She released her grip on his sleeve in embarrassment. This was really shaming of her. She felt so out of place here at this moment, but at the very least Izaya was the only one other than Ren who has an indispensable connection to her at this moment. "I'm really sorry..." She muttered like a child and her expression resembling one as well.

ImageShin looked away when Yukito played off his emotions with a simple teasing. Their relationship at best would be identified as complicated. Yet, he still stayed with the younger boy's side as much as he could. It was because of his own attachment and the definition of retribution. That's why, he will be fine whatever Yukito does to him, as long as he could be where the younger boy is. That was good enough for him. He could endure it all, just to be able to stay with his light.

But, it does bother him what Yukito did to Aina as the foreign girl seemed deeply affected by what happened. Shin was well-aware how sadistic the younger boy could be, especially when he's venting out. He would speak with Aina after all of this is over. As for the order, he wasn't blaming his classmate as it stands. The girl was probably coerced into saying that. As to how? He wouldn't underestimate Yukito. The boy was born as a master manipulator without even trying much.

For now, he watched as each of them was taken out of the candidates as Yukito's kissing partner. Soon, the winner emerged as Kurumi, though he was uncertain if winner was really an appropriate word for this. This was awkward for everyone watching. He also felt the same awkwardness, though it had that pang even if he knew that Yukito was only doing this for fun. The younger boy has no limitations in playing with people's feelings; perhaps, the reason this happened was something connected deep within in the past. Something that Yukito won't allow anyone to see.

Then, the kiss started. He looked away and decided to put his attention elsewhere. That was when he saw Aina's expression. She was glued to what was transpiring. Somehow, the pieces were coming together in his head. She was even blushing. It was indeed adorable her expression and all, but that was not what he was really looking at. He finally understood what had happened between the two. All he could really do was sigh. Yukito really does not know what taking it too far means or maybe, he does and just chose to ignore it.

Shin pinched the bridge of his nose, a sign of worry, or extreme dilemma. It seemed that this day was not really that great with all the troubles he received. But, this was the part of him spending time with Yukito. That's why he will endure as always. For now, he removed his attention from Aina and focused on Himeko. The girl would be coming back to his place. It made him wonder how to fix the living arrangements. The bed was a given, he would be sleeping on the floor, though he can't be too far since the chain provided by their handcuffs are not that long. There were also the bathroom arrangements. He'll just get to it like he had always done when it comes to that.

When he heard Yukito saying that time's up, he looked at the two. "All right, let's continue." He spoke rather decisively. He didn't want any further spotlight on that kiss. It was better to have it forgotten quickly. "We do need to get home." He may seemed cool and unaffected, but that's not true on the inside. He was not irritated on Kurumi or on Aina. He just didn't like the kissing, especially if Yukito did it just out of spite. "I'll hand out the sticks, this time." He offered his hand to them waiting for the sticks to be deposited on his hand.

"Don't worry, I'll be gentle. You can think of someone else, like...My brother."

"I'd rather not." She countered, not struggling with her answer for once. She was currently thinking about the words she had shared with his older brother upstairs. If Kurou was going to forget that anything happened, so would she. So this kiss shouldn't matter then, should it? It wasn't real dating after all, Kurou had agreed on that himself.. so kissing his brother should be fine.

Kurumi's eyes widened due to shock when Yukito initiated the kiss, however they closed after the teasing bite he administered. When his hands cupped her face, Kurumi felt Yukito drawing her closer, so she leaned into the kiss, allowing one hand to rest on Yukito's chest. She shivered as she felt his tongue exploring her mouth, letting her's fight his for dominance. She was older than him, so she wasn't going to let him take control so easily, he would have to take control by force. She whimpered into the kiss, her cheeks burning a dark shade of Crimson as their tongues battled inside of her mouth. The kiss was intoxicating in more ways than one. Considering the cake they'd ate not too long before, the kiss was sugary with traces of strawberry flavor. There was also the fact that Yukito was an exceptional kisser and he had up until a few days ago, been one of her favorite pop idols. Should could tell from his kissing ability that Yukito was not the innocent young boy that he often pretended to be, at least not as far as sexual experience was concerned. Despite herself, she began to wonder if this boy who was two years her junior was still a virgin or not. He was the same age as Nemui, so his corruption was unnerving. Kurumi slightly moaned into the kiss, thankfully muffled. She suspected the only one to hear her would have been Yukito, but that was literally the one person she did not wish to know that embarrassing fact!!

When the kiss was broke, Kurumi covered her mouth with her left wrist to hide the lower portion of her face, but did nothing to conceal her Crimson blush. She was not humiliated by the kiss, merely she was embarrassed by the fact he had to kiss her stepbrother, whom she had greatly underestimated.

"Time's up."

"Hai." Kurumi smiled, even with the dark hue still painted on her cheeks. She embraced the situation, seeing as it was over now, and she literally had no one to answer to. She'd be fine, so long as Yukito kept the fact that she had moaned to himself. If he kept silent, she was actually grateful for this order, "Ari•ga•to." She leaned in and whispered to Yukito. Somehow, this gave her clarity. She couldn't keep obsessing over the past. If Kurou was dead set on pretending nothing happened, then nothing happened, "I didn't need your advice though. That was strange to say." She added sticking her tongue out at Yukito playfully, withdrawing from her youngest step brother before returning to her perch on the couch where Nemui, Himeko, and Shin sat.

"All right, let's continue. We do need to get home. I'll hand out the sticks, this time."

Once everyone handed Shin their stick, Kurumi waited for the silver haired man to shuffle them before redrawing. She took the stick with number eight on it, frowning at the number. She wasn't particularly fond of that number, considering its similarity to an infinity symbol.

"Fun's over, I agree with Ogawa-San. It's getting late." She told the others with a warm expression, the blush on her face entirely faded now. She glanced among the group, even to Kurou, without a care in the world. Perhaps it was spite, but she didn't feel as bad as she did upon her arrival here. Suddenly, Kurumi felt like she held some sort of power over her own life, as if she had taken some of her freedom back. It was selfish, but during that kiss, she wasn't even concerned with how Kurou felt, but that was because he said there was nothing important.. because he abandoned her.

She was truly so lost in thought that she didn't even notice how shaken Aina was or that the kiss had bothered Shin immensely. Although she was curious to see Kurou's response, she reminded herself that it was none of her business, and besides, he probably kept that same uncaring and angry expression.

Himeko averted her gaze when the kiss began, not because she was jealous, but because sexual moments made her uncomfortable, even if it was only a kiss. It reminded her of her own kiss with Shin, and that was enough to agitate her, but she was even more angry when she noticed it was bothering Shin and Aina as well. It pained her to see another girl so frightened, but seeing as Aina was out of reach, and receiving comfort from Izaya, Himeko did something out of character, or rather, her instincts caused her to do something she normally would not have done. Her hand met Shin's shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. She wasn't sure if her reassurance was helpful, but judging by his pinched nose, Himeko felt she was starting to understand her handcuffed companion a little more now. He....he likes that demon... This is probably hurting him a lot... Although she came to this revelation, Yumiko remained quiet, not wishing to embarrass Shin alongside his current torment. She'd ask her questions later, because for the next two days, all they would have is time, "Senpai... Daijoubu.. (It'll be fine)" she whispered softly, smiling up at him. She sincerely doubted that a romance would ensue between the eldest sister and Yukito after all. However, Himeko did not have experience in that department, so she could not say for certain.

"Time's up."

Once she heard Yukito's voice, Himeko removed her hand from Shin's shoulder, staring between Kurumi and Yukito to gauge their reactions. She began to wonder how he had managed to count two minutes so precisely during such a heated kiss, but she decided to not let herself underestimate the demon in an innocent boy's body.

"Hai."

Oddly enough, Kurumi seemed to be even MORE confident after the kiss than when she had went in. Himeko tilted her head at the blonde, trying to decipher whether the girl was pretending or if she had drawn genuine confidence from her compromising situation. Before she could second guess the blonde girl's reaction, Kurumi spoke up for herself. Although no one could hear, Himeko had a gut feeling that the eldest Kitomura sister, Kurumi, had said something important when she whispered in Yukito's ear, much like he had done to her moments before the kiss. These two siblings were enigmatic to say the least, irritating Himeko to no end. Once she felt she had them pegged, Kurumi and Yukito found new ways to surprise her, for better and for worse. Finally, Kurumi returned to her odd choice of seat, sitting on top of the couch's arm like some sort of hawk, meaning the game could now continue.

"All right, let's continue. We do need to get home. I'll hand out the sticks, this time."

Himeko's gaze shifted to Shin again, wishing to tell him it would be okay, as she understood the emotions he was feeling quite well, but she did not wish to draw unnecessary scrutiny towards him, so she settled with a reassuring smile before nodding, "I'd like to leave before daylight, which won't happen at the pace we are going." Himeko yawned. In all honesty, she was in bed by this late hour, noticing it was already midnight.

After everyone passed the sticks to the silver haired model, Himeko waited for someone else to draw, which turned out to be Kurumi, then withdrew a stick herself. Her eyes immediately widened, realizing that she was in fact the king this round. Power and fear overwhelmed her as she realized she would have to make a choice. What do I do? I don't know what to order... The strawberry blonde could feel her chest seize as she began to hyperventilate under the pressure, but with well timed controlled breathing, she managed to fend off a panic attack before it could take root and reveal its ugly face to everyone in the room. She did not wish to show her weakness to everyone, especially not to the Kitomura brothers. She had to be strong and thrive in these conditions, even if it was difficult. She owed it to her brother Ren.

She waited for everyone to draw a stick before revealing her own, "I suppose I'm the king...so..." She began tapping her chin as she tried to formulate an order, but the pressure was a lot to handle. She decided to attempt torturing someone as much as she had endured. She wanted revenge after all, despite it's pettiness, "As your King, I command that number 8 and number 6 have to sleep in the same bed tonight. Also, number 2 has to stand guard outside the door all night to assure it happens without interruption." She knew the order was relatively tame, but it would ruin someone's night and that was enough to console her. I'm such an ugly person.. Vengeance... Anger.. I'm teeming with both.

And Kurumi might've felt a bit of glee upon glancing at Kurou, who seemed even more scowly than he usually did. It was just a bit obvious that he was in a worse mood than his default, and she would definitely figure that it was the kiss that did it. Even still, Kurou was surprised at himself that he was getting upset over this. He wasn't her boyfriend, nor had they ever seriously dated. But even so, he couldn't remain indifferent when he watched his brother passionately kiss Kurumi, and her return it. It pissed him off and he knew that was unreasonable and stupid. Did he even like her? He wanted to believe he was no longer capable of feeling for anybody in a serious manner, but that was what jealousy implied, did it not? No, he couldn't say he was jealous because he loved Kurumi, there was no way he'd ever admit that, even to himself, and it was not the proper answer either. What he was truly mad at was... perhaps that Kurumi had matured before him. As a person, she had at least grown up from that girl who couldn't bear to admit her feelings to the one she loved. Now here she was, kissing a guy with no apparent problem.

But here Kurou was, barely advancing as a person at all. What had he done? He was no longer the cruel, sadistic person that he was back when his mother died, but it is not as though he grew up. He did not truly believe that the Kurou now was a step up from the Kurou who had used to be nice. Rather, he had devolved into a lesser person. He knew this, and yet he never once tried to return to his old ways. It was too late for that. Someone who had done such sadistic things as breaking up with Kurumi even when he knew the feelings she had for him, just to see her beat down wasn't able to go back and pretend like he wasn't a bad human being. A man who made a show out of rejecting someone and even getting her laughed out of school was... horrible.

Rejecting someone...?

Something was odd here. Having that memory in focus triggered a deep pain in his chest. There was no excuse for what he did, even if his mother had just recently died. He was just a bad person with no cause other than sadism, at that point in time. But it wasn't just regret of what he did that was plaguing him, it was a feeling that the event was important to something right here and now that hit him. He was on the verge of figuring something out, that was for sure!

"I'd like to leave before daylight, which won't happen at the pace we are going." Katsukawa urged before letting out a yawn.

Kurou decided to retrieve his stick as quickly as possible, as he was getting an actual headache and wanted this game to end already. Remembering events of back then was irritating, and he was already in a foul mood (no surprise there) to begin with. He had had his turn and was ready to go to bed. But first, he did need a glass of water, as he was a bit parched. So, with his stick in hand, he stood up. "I'll be right back. Getting a drink." he declared, though it wasn't as though he felt he needed to do so. He did so for the sake of the others.

Mere moments later, the King and her order had been declared.

"As your King, I command that number 8 and number 6 have to sleep in the same bed tonight. Also, number 2 has to stand guard outside the door all night to assure it happens without interruption." so said the king.

Kitomura groaned. This was bad. The only thing he disliked as much as having his food delayed was being disturbed when he was trying to sleep. What a drag. "Please tell me that whomever I am stuck with doesn't roll around in their sleep." he worried, holding up his stick as he returned to the group, drinking a bit of his water after he did so.

As soon as the kiss began, Nemui froze. She did not wish to watch, so she did the only thing she knew she could do, "E-Excuse me, I'm going to the bathroom.." She announced quietly in order to not interrupt the kiss. She stood and left the group, her socks quietly thumping against the stairs as she made her ascent. With Yukito and Kurumi out of her immediate sight, Nemui calmed down and she went to the bathroom. She splashed her face with water, trying to get the image of her sister and stepbrother out of her head. What is so bad that Kurumi-chan is willing to kiss one of our stepbrothers to keep buried? Nemui asked herself, wiping off her face and staring into the mirror into her own caramel eyes. Her greatest question was why it bothered her to watch. Perhaps it was because her sister was betraying their mother's marriage? That didn't feel like it was the answer, so she brushed it off as being worried that the kiss would cause drama within the household. So far living in Sakura Square had been relatively peaceful, but she felt this kiss would not be easily ignored by anyone in the house. She realized she wasn't the only one affected by the kiss. She had caught Kurou and Aina's expressions as well, neither of them looked comfortable. Shin completely refused to watch, kind of like herself. She was glad to know she wasn't the only one who had trouble coping with the kiss. When she felt the kiss was over, Nemui returned downstairs, just in time to hear Yukito speak.

"Time's up."

She was definitely relieved that it was over, reclaiming her spot next to Himeko. She noticed that Aina was actually clung to Izaya, and the male was definitely the only person in the room amused by the events that transpired. Nemui knew there was something she did not like about him, and he was only reaffirming her initial impression of him. She wished that Ren's father had not fallen ill, because she did not like his cousin near as much as she liked him.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't notice! I'm really sorry..."

She wondered why Aina had responded so terribly to the kiss, realization hitting her like a smack to the face. She had watched enough romance anime to know what was going on. Y-Yukito kissed Malik-Senpai too!? Why would he do that without being ordered!? Pervert! Her eyes closed as she let out an annoyed sigh. Her fist clenched and her entire body trembled in anger, but it wasn't like she was the type to start conflict. No matter how mad she was in this moment, she wouldn't do anything. Nemui kept her eyes closed to hide the brunt of her anger, but her facial expression said enough. Whatever came to her when she looked at Aina had hit a nerve.

"All right, let's continue. We do need to get home. I'll hand out the sticks, this time."

Nemui mentally agreed with Shin, only nodding in response. She did not wish to know how much of her anger would seep out if she dared to speak. Her eyebrow twitched as she attempted to cool her head, but honestly she just wanted to go to bed at this point. Her sister and Yukito had managed to entirely ruin her night, Yukito especially. She wanted to rip him to shreds for his lecherous behavior. Had it been her guest, Himeko, she probably would not have hesitated to finally punch him, but Aina was Kurumi's guest and her responsibility.. besides, Aina would not trust anyone with the truth. No matter how many pieces Nemui or anyone else put together, there was no solid proof unless the foreign girl chose to confide in someone.

"Fun's over, I agree with Ogawa-San. It's getting late"

Nemui finally opened her eyes when her sister's cheerful voice broke through, and she let out an inaudible sigh. How could Kurumi be so damn happy about kissing her own step-brother? Nemui wondered if Kurumi actually enjoyed it, or if she was pretending. She couldn't tell anymore. She was beginning to question if she even knew the girl sitting next to her anymore, because Nemui certainly did not recognize her as her sister right now. Her sister would have never been okay with kissing her stepbrother. Her sister would have been too embarrassed. The past few years, Kurumi had slowly become someone Nemui did not approve of at all. Slut... Nemui thought to herself bitterly.

"I'd like to leave before daylight, which won't happen at the pace we are going."

Himeko seemed tired, and rightfully so. They had been here for quite some time goofing off and mentally scarring each other, so she understood why the other girl was fatigued, she was herself if she wanted to be perfectly honest. Nemui was physically and mentally tired, but she was also furious. She was not in a lively spirit anymore, in fact, she did not feel very social at all. She only sat here because her guest, Himeko, was present and she refused to abandon someone she invited over.

"I'll be right back. Getting a drink."

She wasn't sure if it was her imagination, but she felt that Kurou was grumpier than usual. She brushed it off, but she made a mental note, finding it very odd. Perhaps he was angry at Yukito because they were siblings and had no right to be kissing each other as well? She hoped she had an ally in this losing battle, because right now she felt like she was the only sibling with a set of morals. Nemui absentmindedly drew a stick from Shin's hand to aid the game in moving along, just in time to hear Himeko's order.

"As your King, I command that number 8 and number 6 have to sleep in the same bed tonight. Also, number 2 has to stand guard outside the door all night to assure it happens without interruption."

Nemui revealed her stick, remaining quiet. It obviously was not her, but she did not feel like speaking up. She did not want to alert the others to her sour mood. Just because she was no longer enjoying herself did not mean she was willing to dampen everyone else's night. Nemui would keep to herself unless someone called her out on her silence. Otherwise, she waited to see who would be the victims of Himeko's obvious revenge. Then Kurou groaned.

"Please tell me that whomever I am stuck with doesn't roll around in their sleep."

Nemui almost laughed. She was not in the mood to laugh, but she snickered anyhow. Something about Kurou being in a jam was interesting and amusing to her, even when in such a terrible mood. Suddenly some of the anger evaporated with her newfound amusement. Little did Nemui know, her amusement would be short lived.

"Please, don’t say that."

The kiss proved to be an interesting affair, but the fact that Aina reprimanded him for teasing the brothers back put Izaya in a foul mood. He was not her white prince. He was only stepping in while Ren was gone, he was not here to replace Ren, and he definitely was not the same kind of person. As much as Izaya believed himself to be a nice guy, he would not let others walk over him so easily, and he did have a slightly sadistic streak if crossed. He knew an innocent girl like her would not be able to accept something like that, that she would prefer a nice boy more like Ren. Tch.. I'm not your lover boy... Don't place your expectations on me... He thought to himself, a light blush crossing his features. He had to admit, Ren had impeccable taste in women. Just being around her made him feel like he should be a better man, but that only annoyed him more. He did NOT want to change for anyone, especially a woman.

"I'd like to leave before daylight, which won't happen at the pace we are going."

As much as he enjoyed watching the family create their own problems, he had to be home as well. He had too many obligations at home to take care of, and he had women to console as much as he was trying his best to avoid that portion of his responsibilities as man of the house. He ran a hand through his dark hair as if it would clear his troublesome thoughts from his mind, but to no avail. It was only then he noticed Aina clinging to him. He did not realize sooner due to how baggy his clothes were. She seemed quite embarrassed, and to say he was not a little embarrassed as well would have been a flat out lie. He immediately realized what had taken place, his teeth gritting in annoyance as he glared at Yukito for a moment.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't notice! I'm really sorry..."

He then turned to face Aina, leaning in closely, "Stay away from that guy, or I'll be forced to punish you. Got it?" He whispered in a serious and somewhat seductive tone. He hated to threaten her like this, but he did not like the idea that some womanizer was moving in on his cousin's woman, especially after he KNEW that his cousin had to leave. His father was dying, how could someone take advantage of a moment like that!? It was in that moment that Izaya realized he absolutely hated Yukito Kitomura. This was none of his business, but it wasn't like he could sit idly by and do nothing while that sadistic egotistic maniac did as he pleased with the girl his cousin was in love with. Izaya had yet ANOTHER responsibility, but somehow, he didn't mind this time. His blood was on fire just thinking that the other guy had actually had the nerve to kiss someone who was not even his to kiss. He stole something from Aina and Ren that could never be replaced and Izaya could not forgive that. He'd have to stay close to the girl, because she obviously was too meek to defend herself.

"I'll be right back. Getting a drink."

The eldest Kitomura brother seemed equally perturbed by the kiss, but Izaya was unsure if that was due to jealousy or concern for his family. While it was none of his business, it did amuse him. Kurou had been the one to threaten him, so it was quite interesting to see him slightly grumpier than before. Izaya was becoming a believer in Karma. This night was proving to be far more amazing than he had ever expected. He was almost glad that the men of this family forced him to stay. His house surely was no where near as interesting as this one at the moment. He looked to his newly drawn stick, waiting for an order.

"As your King, I command that number 8 and number 6 have to sleep in the same bed tonight. Also, number 2 has to stand guard outside the door all night to assure it happens without interruption."

His multicolored eyes sparkled with interest as Himeko declared the order. It seemed that Nemui revealed her stick first, obviously not affected by this round's order. Izaya was also exempt, but he decided to refrain from revealing that detail. He wished to make the ones involved squirm a little. This game was not healthy for the perverted boy's mind. It was leaking out his inner sadist that he normally kept behind lock and key, a side of him that he was not particularly proud of. Tch.. I need to get a grip before I do something I'll regret...

"Please tell me that whomever I am stuck with doesn't roll around in their sleep."

With a sigh of feigned disappintment Izaya finally decided to reveal he was not involved in this order, "Too bad, I'm sure the girls would have died and gone to heaven if we slept together.." His eyes glimmered with a devious expression as he spoke, leaving it open to debate if he was referring to just sleep or actual sex. With twisted his wrist, Izaya revealed his stick to the group. No longer in the running, he let his eyes scan the other occupants of the room. Realizing the girl beside him was in need of comfort, Izaya let his right hand rest on Aina's, nodding at her to reveal her stick, "I may not be as good as Ren, but I won't let anything bad happen when I'm with you. Do not mistake me for some Prince Charming though, got it? I'm a man too, I'm hardly any better than him." He whispered once more, this time right into her ear, letting his breath lightly brush her skin. He had to know if she was the one sleeping with Kurou. He would not be able to relax until he knew she would not be sharing a bed with one of these brothers.

Well, those were some fine reactions. Kisses could really invoke some fun scenes especially when done at the right timing. They were truly a good weapon to be used. Yes, that's how Yukito sees it, a weapon to be wielded for his own selfish ends. Anyway, he recounted the details he got from what occurred. It was clear to him that his so-called older stepsister liked it, enough to cause pleasure. Well, she shouldn't be generally ashamed of that. Then again, they were now siblings by law. This was quite an incestuous act, but they do say that the forbidden acts are the best. It made him inwardly smirked.

Kurumi seemed able to gather herself before thanking him. It seemed his action had made a haze around her head disappear. Isn't that charming? She also spoke of his advice. All he could do was smile cordially as he had always done. "You are welcome, Kurumi-san.". Right, he was still the same as ever. The next on his list would be the foreign female senior. The girl was like the epitome of naivety, so easy to play with. Yukito could only imagine what kind of troubles he could bring to her just for fun. Aina was indeed a ball of fun to pursue, though it seemed that their newcomer was rather sending him such warning vibes. That was interesting is he worried for the older girl or... something more there.

Another thing Yukito found to be exploited at his own time was his brother, Kurou. It may be so that his older brother seemed uncaring of most things except for strawberries, but there were still things that affect. He is rather entertained when he find those things, for example like now. His hunch about a certain connection was definitely not far off. That would be good to use in another time, for now, he would let that rest until further notice. Then, he did notice that Nemui left from the corner of his eyes, a similar action done by Shin through looking away. There was definitely a story there for Nemui, none for Shin. He was after all aware of it already.

In any case, he gave out his sticks and pick a new one. It seemed the game was still on. It was no consequence to Yukito, but he was not sure about the others. Anyway, he picked his stick which was number 3. It didn't take long that when they got all their numbers, the King was Himeko. This should be interesting that girl has to do some revenge. She was after all a favorite victim of this game along with Shin. Her order could be very entertaining and then she proclaimed it. It seemed that someone would be sleeping together tonight. That was rather thoughtful, though he does feel sorry for number 2 to stay as a guard. That person might hear a lot of naughty noise and be rather... hmm, disconcerted.

Anyway, his brother had already declared that he's one of the victims of the order. Izaya also seemed to be fond of the order in a rather perverted way. Well, boys will be boys, won't they? "Unfortunately, that would not be me." He announced with a smile, showed his number and then looked around as to know who would be the other two that would be part of the order. That's when he noticed Aina. She was certainly a ball of fun indeed. She seemed not the type to hide her emotions and was much like an opened book for anyone to read. "Malik-senpai." He called out to her. "Are you all right?"

ImageAina wasn't sure what made Izaya say those things at her, but she was surprised by it. She pulled back and the blush lingering on her cheeks brightened despite it settling down earlier. This was all due to his words and the way he spoke it. She wasn't sure if she was scared or under some sort of spell that made her heart quiver like it did back in that kitchen. He effectively made her feel those emotions again that Yukito had done before. She really wanted to leave, right now, but if she did... Where would she go? Home? That sounded nice really. She lowered her head and bit her lower lip.

"Why?" She mumbled without looking at Izaya. Aina's question was not meant about why she should stay away from a person. She wasn't sure to who he was referring to. Well, she can be a bit slow on the uptake. What she was really asking was why would he punish her? Before she could hear any answer, the others were all stirred up for the next round. She really didn't want to join anymore, but that meant her secret will be found out. She can't have that at all. That's why even if it was hard, she must endure it all. She then placed back her sticks with the others. When it was done being jumbled up, she pick another one like the rest.

She was actually now drowning herself out of this reality so, she could calm herself. It seemed to be a bit effective as she felt a wave of calmness over her. Well, that didn't last soon, because at the moment Himeko has finally announced the order. She really didn't see anything bad in sleeping together. That was like a slumber party right? Well, her perception is rather on the normal side. She has yet to look at her number, but wished she wouldn't be involved. The order can jeopardize her secret. It was then she looked back at Izaya when he said something that girls would have died and gone to heaven. She really wasn't sure what that mean, but dying is not a good concept, right? Then again, there's heaven.

That's when she felt a hand on top of hers. It startled her as she looked at Izaya. She didn't move away from his touch. In the end, she could not lean on anyone really except for him at least. He seemed to motion her to reveal her number and she was about to, but stopped midway when he whispered to her ear. His words always have a mixture of security and danger. She could not understand what his intentions were. She blushed once more. "Why are you doing this? Making my heart beat so fast?" She looked at her with those questioning eyes and flushed cheeks. Well, she does look alluring even without meaning to. That's when she looked away and revealed her number which made her white as sheets. If that was not enough, her eyes widened and her entire body trembled.

She was going to stay guard for the whole night. That was... impossible! Even if she participated, the chance of her secret be revealed was at a great risk. She could try not falling asleep but that would be impossible to do. But, she wasn't sure if she should do it or try. Her thoughts were running so fast around her head, that she had the expression of complete panic. She really didn't know what to do at all. She felt like crying and her frazzled thoughts only stopped when she heard her name being called. "I can't stand guard... I have to go home." She answered Yukito and then looked at Izaya for help with her hands grabbing on to his shirt and her face now buried on his chest.

ImageThe game started anew as they took the sticks. Shin waited for the King to be revealed and that moment of silence was enough to make him think of some things. Like what Himeko said earlier, his eyes traveled to his handcuffed partner, but only briefly before he looked at another direction. She comforted him in away she could despite her aversion with him. It was something he would consider a grand gesture, but more importantly, it seemed she figured out his feelings towards the young famous idol. It's not like he was hiding it really. It was just never mentioned or asked.

He would have to thank her at a later time, but that also meant he might be receiving questions about that. Well, he would answer her to the best he would be comfortable about. It's not like he would have to spill the beans and really, he could use someone to talk to about it, these unrequited feelings of his. Anyway, his trail of thought was broken when Himeko announced that she was King. Well, there seemed to be justice on that part. It did make him wonder what she would order since she appeared the kind to do a payback. Well, it's not really his place to say that's a bad thing.

Her order was then announce that someone would be sleeping together and to make sure that happens, another would stand guard at the door. Well, good luck to the two who would be sleeping but, sorry for the one who would stand guard. It would probably be a long night for those three. It didn't take long for Yukito's older brother to reveal that he was one of the sleeping buddies for the night. He would quite have a problem if he would be the other sleeping buddy since he does have Himeko handcuffed to him. It would be the three of them and that would be a ruckus, that much he could tell. Soon, Izaya, the new guest revealed that it won't be him which was also the same with Nemui. Yukito shared the same fate.

He revealed his number which also meant that he won't be the one. That's good, another problem evaded. He really didn't need one. Well, that meant that the two girls, Kurumi and Aina were probably involved in the order. One would be sleeping with Kurou and the other would be guarding the door. It was soon revealed that Aina was the one who would guard the door and somehow, the foreign senior was adamant on not doing it at all. He wasn't clear on what is Aina's connection with Izaya as it seemed the girl was far more comfortable with the newcomer than anyone of them. She was really scared which was brought to attention by Yukito who asked her if she was all right. There seemed to be a deeper reason for the girl's reaction. He wasn't sure if it would be good to force the order than again...

Well, there's no point not trying. The girl was clearly shaking at the thought and forcing someone into that position won't be good. It might turned into a health concern and he wasn't fond of that. "Would it be fine to change the order a bit? We don't need a guard as long as we put a padlock on it, right?" He offered a suggestion. It was still the decision of everyone whether to think of another solution or continue with it needlessly. Whatever it is, he only hoped it won't be a big problem on the long run. He just didn't want to see that same scenario or situation before where he acted without much of a thought then, hurt people needlessly. That's not his life anymore.

"As your King, I command that number 8 and number 6 have to sleep in the same bed tonight. Also, number 2 has to stand guard outside the door all night to assure it happens without interruption."

In that moment Kurumi felt a sense of dread that she had never felt before. When she heard her stick's number cross Himeko's lips, she felt an impending sense of doom. She was a part of this order, she would be sleeping in the same bed as someone else tonight. She felt numb. How was she expected to sleep if she had to share a bed with a guy?! She was so shocked that she started to zone out as everyone began checking their own sticks.

This was terrible, but it wasn't like she was in a situation to decline an order, regardless of how unfair it was. She had two huge secrets to protect! She couldn't give up now, as tempting as that was. Nemui revealed her stick, apparently her sister was not her sleeping partner. Nemui would have been the easiest to comply with when it came to this absurd and perverted order, but it was not meant to be it seemed. Karma was out for blood with a burning vengeance, Kurumi could feel it, this wasn't going to end well.

"Please tell me that whomever I am stuck with doesn't roll around in their sleep."

She could have passed out from shock. She wasn't sure what would be worse... sharing a bed with Kurou or their secret being discovered. She had JUST shared a kiss with Kurou's younger brother and now she would have to share a bed with Kurou, her ex boyfriend!? He didn't seem much different, so perhaps the night would go by without confrontation or drama? She figured that they could just ignore each other and sleep, seeing as Kurou agreed that their shared past was not important.

"I can't stand guard... I have to go home."

"I promise I won't go anywhere, but I can't speak for him." Kurumi sighed then gestured to Kurou with her thumb without looking in his direction. She smiled to Aina, biting her bottom lip in response to the other girl's situation. She had no idea why Aina had to go home, but if she had a family that would call the police or something if she didn't show up, it was just better to let her free from this order. Besides, to be honest she didn't want Aina there. She couldn't handle being stuck alone with Aina AND Kurou all night. The main idea was to embarrass her and Kurou after all, Aina's only purpose in the order was just to be there to make sure it happens without interference.

"Would it be fine to change the order a bit? We don't need a guard as long as we put a padlock on it, right?"

Kurumi couldn't believe her ears, she immediately wanted to throw something at the model, because he was attempting to make the order far less tolerable than it already was, "O-Oi! Ogawa-San! Don't lock me up with him so easily!" Kurumi responded in an irritated tone. She let out a huff to calm herself down, shivering at the thought of being literally locked in a room with Kurou left at the mercy of Yukito and Nemui. If neither of them could escape until someone woke up and unlocked the padlock she was sure that one if not both of them would be dead by the time the padlock was removed. She had to come up with another solution and fast. Her eyes scanned the room and she got an idea, "Shuuhei can take her place since he's so close to Malik-San! How about that? Then there is no need for a padlock!" She hoped that everyone would agree, because she did not like the idea of being forcefully locked in a room with her ex boyfriend, even if she was pretending their mock trial relationship did not mean anything to her. She passed in her stick, "Next round, yeah? Can't do that one yet anyhow."

She just did not wish to think about sharing a bed with Kurou any longer. It was not here nor there, so she decided to place the problem on a back burner it until the issue smacked her in the face. Facing the situation would only bring back too many painful memories, memories she did not wish to recollect. Their breakup left everything sour, it ruined all of the positive memories and she couldn't reflect on them without getting upset. Perhaps she could get by with just staying in the room? It wasn't like anyone would be peeking in the room every second, right? The guard was just there to make sure she didn't leave the room after all... She'd sleep in the floor if possible, the farthest corner. That's it. This wouldn't be so bad.

"Please tell me that whomever I am stuck with doesn't roll around in their sleep."

Knowing that Kurou might have a night of discomfort amused Himeko to no end, but at the same time, she felt a knot in her stomach. Who would he be sharing a bed with? Would it be one of the girls? She immediately felt tense. She refused to admit that it could have been jealousy, but in all honesty, it was most likely the cause... Her dark golden-brown eyes closed for a minute as her jealousy ruined her chance to enjoy Kurou's possible torment. She was completely unaware, but deep down she still harbored feelings for the boy that humiliated her only a few years ago.

"I can't stand guard... I have to go home."

As the other girl spoke of having other obligations, Himeko quirked a brow, both of her eyes opening and landing on Aina with curiosity. Did she really have to go home, or was she looking for an excuse to get out of the order? Himeko wasn't sure, but she couldn't shake the feeling that Aina was keeping something from the group. She decided she would have to get to know the exotic junior better, determined to find out the girl's secret. She seemed far too nervous about this, especially for the girl that wouldn't have to sleep in the same bed as Kurou.

"I promise I won't go anywhere, but I can't speak for him."

"We can't trust anyone to comply with the order when we aren't around to witness it, someone has to stand guard." She replied to Kurumi, whom she believed would be all too thrilled to escape the order. As much as she wished that she could discard her own order now that she knew that she had condemned Kurou to share a bed with his own stepsister, she knew it would be seen as rather suspicious by those around the room. She couldn't have anyone catching on to her past with Kurou, especially Kurou himself. She just wanted to make it through her four years of high school uneventfully so she could get into a good college and forget everyone sitting here. While the girls had not done anything, in particular, she had enough bad experiences with the boys to never hang out with this crowd ever again, but she doubted she would get the chance to ditch them anytime soon.

"Would it be fine to change the order a bit? We don't need a guard as long as we put a padlock on it, right?"

Himeko blinked a bit at the mention of a padlock. It certainly would verify that the order was carried out, but the thought brought several images to her mind that she did not wish to conjure up. She gave it some thought, biting her bottom lip, but before she could say anything for or against Shin's idea, Kurumi spoke up to counter the argument. Her eyes shifted to the long-haired and beautiful blonde, listening to her reasoning as well.

"O-Oi! Ogawa-San! Don't lock me up with him so easily!"

"Well, they might have to use the bathroom.. there is only two in the building, one upstairs and one through the kitchen..." Her voice trailed off as she began to give it even more thought. Himeko nodded once she decided it would be too unfair to Kurou and Kurumi. Sure, in reality, Himeko was looking for any reason to agree with Kurumi without coming across as jealous or bitter. This order was becoming far more trouble than it all was worth, but she had no choice but to see it through.

"Shuuhei can take her place since he's so close to Malik-San! How about that? Then there is no need for a padlock!"

At Kurumi's notion of Shuuhei taking Aina's spot as the watchdog, Himeko nodded her head. That would be the perfect replacement. A smile crept to Himeko's lips as an acceptable alternative was finally presented, "That's fine with me as long as no one else minds..." She responded, glancing upon those sitting in the room to gauge their reactions as she waited for their opinions. It was no longer only up to her after all. This part would be a group decision, but she hoped that everyone else would comply to the replacement so the game could return to its smooth progress. Himeko was beginning to feel tired, her small yawn shielded by her uncuffed hand was a clear indicator of her exhaustion. Today had been too eventful, and when around these boys, Himeko had a knack for working herself up unnecessarily. Not to mention, she lost her first kiss to Shin....just because some dumb game decided she had to. There was no romance in it whatsoever!! That was almost enough to warrant a flood of tears, but it wasn't like she could just break down in front of everyone present.

"Next round, yeah? Can't do that one yet anyhow."

Once the sticks were gathered, Himeko passed them to Izaya, smiling brightly, "You haven't passed them out yet, so care to do it?" She inquired, forcing them upon him regardless of his answer. She was just as eager to end the game as Kurumi. This game only brought drama and trouble, and she knew that this group would feel awkward around each other for quite some time, perhaps not Yukito, but everyone else had displayed some level of apprehension. Without another word, she withdrew a stick from Izaya's hand, not giving him much of a choice in the matter. Tonight would end soon if she had to kill someone in order to make it happen. The sooner the game ended, the sooner she could get this damn handcuff order over with, and the sooner they would be removed. Her eyes shifted up at Shin, then down at the handcuffs that trapped them to each other. He better not be some kind of pervert....I'll kick his ass if he touches me weird... She thought to herself, frowning a bit.

Wew lad.

As the subjects of the king began narrowing down, a bad feeling began stirring up within Kurou. Who would he spend the night with? Since there was six others, he was originally confident he would just be placed with someone he did not know, but it immediately began to seem like that was not the case. Nemo had silently lift a different number than what was required, Yuki, Malik, and Ogawa were all in the clear as well. The new guy, Shuuhei, had also revealed the wrong number, though he at least made a small joke about the "what if". Despite his entrance into the house, the guy seemed well enough to hold a sense of humor. Just about everyone else seemed to be so serious about this game -- as if it were life and death. Wasn't this game supposed to be enjoyed for fun? That's what games were for, right? Of course, Kurou couldn't really talk right now. His motivation originally was to "win" it, and now he was almost visibly in distress because it was plainly obvious who he was spending the night with.

Kurou begun inhaling his water at this point, until the cup was empty.

There were a few things wrong with sleeping with Kurumi. The most obvious is that she was quite an attractive girl. He wasn't completely immune to having his mind go in weird directions, just most of the time he was too busy being grumpy to allow it to do so. Being so close to her, in a bed, sleeping, would certainly make it hard. To sleep. It would be hard to sleep. That's what would be hard.

...secondly, they did share a past. A past he would hopefully never have to reveal to anyone else, but a past nonetheless. It should be insignificant, especially since he was the one that broke it off and they had agreed that it wasn't important, but things were not as simple as he would like. That past helped prevent Kurou from seeing her as a sibling in his eyes. She would likely always at least be a girl who happened to live with him, no matter what he might tell others. And that meant it would be very, very awkward to sleep in the same bed as her specifically. While they were dating, they had certainly never neared the "bed" stage of a fake relationship, how could this be happening?

Taking a slow, deep breath while the others were focused on Kurumi, he tried calming himself down. It would only look suspicious if he started looking panicked now. The best action to take would be to down something that would calm him down and help him sleep quicker just before bed. If he just went to sleep, he wouldn't need to worry about anything.

"Would it be fine to change the order a bit? We don't need a guard as long as we put a padlock on it, right?"

"A padlock? What are we, ani-"

"O-Oi! Ogawa-San! Don't lock me up with him so easily!" Kurumi objected.

Perhaps some people did think of him as some animal. Rude. He wasn't somebody who would pounce on the nearest women and have his way with her! At least not actually. Sometimes men have thoughts and these thoughts are thoughts that shouldn't be thoughts but they are thoughts anyways. Lewd thoughts, some might call them. And sometimes Kurou was an S and sometimes he was an M. But I digress.

It seemed that Katsukawa had also disliked the idea of locking them up, but for a completely different reason. However, one need not forget that having access to the bathroom was important. Especially since Kurou just downed quite a bit of water. Now that he thought of it, being locked up could be potentially fatal -- he would die of embarrassment if he was locked up and had no place to go. Dodged a bullet there.

"Shuuhei can take her place since he's so close to Malik-San! How about that? Then there is no need for a padlock!" Kurumi suggested.

What? Wasn't that, like, a really poor idea, maybe? Considering they just met this guy? Considering his method of entry into their house? Considering that he sounded like he just entered the area, there was probably things he was required to do? Hell, Kurou sprung this game onto him via a threat. He certainly was not obligated to stay here for the night just to watch over people whom he was not very familiar with. People must be getting fairly desperate.

"Only if he wishes to do so, you shouldn't be so quick to spring responsibilities on our guests, you know?" the elder Kitomura brother wasn't very pleased with the sudden "decision". He didn't believe it was well thought through. "Honestly, if you're gonna dump this on someone else, shouldn't it be the King who ordered this?" his eyes led to Katsukawa for a moment, before he sighed and reacted to the new stick holder, Izaya. It was probably best to save the details for when they were crossing that bridge, so he wasn't going to say anymore.

Kurou took his stick just after Katsukawa, hoping that it would lead to a more desireable situation this time and waited. Hopefuly, four was a good number. He wore an expression that conveyed he was thinking seriously about something, rather than his usual look. He was foolish. He had made a joke when he heard the order, but had completely dismissed the idea that he'd wind up with Kurumi. Or maybe he hadn't realized the problem it posed until after he thought about it? Well, it was much too late now. He was stuck with her and she was stuck with him. And without chloroform or a blunt object to the side of his head, he wasn't confident he was going to get to any sleep tonight. How could a supposed sibling be doing this much to him? Odd.

"Why are you doing this? Making my heart beat so fast?"

"I'm really not doing anything in particular.." Izaya replied with a soft chuckle, gazing away from Aina with a blush on his cheeks. He wasn't really sure what she was referring to, because he wasn't actually -trying- per se... His words came from the heart. He tried to ponder on his intentions for a moment, then when he felt he could clearly convey them he spoke again, "It's my own way of keeping you safe for Ren.." Izaya replied almost dutifully. However, as he got to know the girl better, he did kind of envy his cousin. Her shyness matched with her exotic body was something hard to ignore, but Izaya reminded himself he could not go after his cousin's girl. He would be deeply breaking the bro code if he did. However, Aina's fearful response to her stick made Izaya snatch it from her fingers to inspect, only to sigh in annoyance when he realized what was frightening her. He assumed it was spending a night in Yukito's house with him as Izaya was completely unaware of her accident.

"I can't stand guard... I have to go home."

Her suddenly burying her face against his chest caused Izaya to blush. He froze for a moment before placing a hand carefully on the small of her back, the other caressing her hair awkwardly, trying to soothe her. He really didn't know what to do. He didn't want to volunteer to take her place, but he couldn't leave her in thise house alone with Yukito either. He was trapped between a rock and a hard place. He immediately was beginning to hate this game. It was putting him in the worst possible position. He had to choose between laziness and helping this girl, his cousin's first love.

"Would it be fine to change the order a bit? We don't need a guard as long as we put a padlock on it, right?"

"T-That's a little excessive.." Izaya responded, trying to imagine how uncomfortable the two would be, especially if the person guarding the key happened to lose it. He really didn't like that idea one bit. Kurumi seemed like a nice girl, and Kurou...well... he still didn't wish that fate upon them, regardless of his feelings towards Kurou. This was getting more and more complicated the further he listened to everyone trying to form a solution. Izaya continued to stroke his fingers through Aina's hair, but right now he was pretty sure he needed some comfort, because if he acted on what he was thinking about, then perhaps he was catching a cold. He had to be mad to actually be considering volunteering to do the guarding instead of Aina.

"O-Oi! Ogawa-San! Don't lock me up with him so easily! Shuuhei can take her place since he's so close to Malik-San! How about that? Then there is no need for a padlock!"

Izaya couldn't help but snicker, but when his name was brought up he blinked a bit. He removed his hand from Aina's back and rubbed it through his own hair, realizing that he wasn't getting out of this without throwing Aina to the wolves, "Me..? I'm just a stranger.. Would that relieve Malik-senpai of her Duty? If so, I volunteer." He asked with a quirk of his brow, pretending that the thought had never crossed his mind, even though he had been contemplating taking her place almost from the start, despite his inner lazy bastard's protests.

"Only if he wishes to do so, you shouldn't be so quick to spring responsibilities on our guests, you know? Honestly, if you're gonna dump this on someone else, shouldn't it be the King who ordered this?"

"She's handcuffed to Ogawa-Senpai. I doubt they'd be very comfortable guarding your door. I suppose you're stuck with me a while longer, neighbor." He grinned, suspicious that Kurou did NOT want him outside of his bedroom door, if the vibes of the room were any indication. He wasn't sure why the male who all but threatened him into joining the game was suddenly not into the idea of his company, but he did plan to use it for his own amusement if he was correct.

"Next round, yeah? Can't do that one yet anyhow."

Izaya quietly held the sticks waiting for everyone to draw one from his hand so he would know his number. He bit his bottom lip, having a bad feeling after everything that had happened to him today. First his move, then the Aina ordeal, and now he was spending the night at his neighbor's house? His luck wasn't working in his favor, so he had little hope for the remaining duration of this game. However, the sooner everyone had a chance to be King, the sooner the wretched game would end. Izaya extended his hand filled with the sticks out, "Everyone draw so we can get this game over with, okay?" Izaya asked in an impatient manner, exhausted with today's 'festivities'.

"I can't stand guard... I have to go home."

At such an explanation, Nemui scoffed feeling particularly frigid, "If only we all could use that excuse. I'm sure Katsukawa-chan and Ogawa-Senpai were inconvenienced as well.." Due to her building rage, Nemui was not shy about calling Aina out. She didn't see ANY reasonable explanation for why she couldn't fulfill such an easy order. It pissed her off that the others had gone through so much, yet the senior was coming up with such a lame reason for being incapable, "Just admit this isn't about what you -have- to do but instead you just don't -want- to do it. Don't come up with some lame cop out to preserve your image. Katsukawa-chan just LIED to her mother, what's your excuse?!" Nemui snapped, something she very seldom did. The fact that her sister was in a compromising situation with BOTH of their stepbrothers and this girl couldn't even do this much was almost enough to make Nemui want to make things physical. She did not start a physical altercation, however, as that was not within her beliefs.

"O-Oi! Ogawa-San! Don't lock me up with him so easily! Shuuhei can take her place since he's so close to Malik-San! How about that? Then there is no need for a padlock!"

At this point, Nemui found it surprising that there was someone in the room that her sister WOULDN'T flirt with. She sat back and watched the events playing out, feeling rather indifferent toward it all. This was not the kind of function that Nemui wanted to have, and now her guest was handcuffed to Ogawa, someone that Nemui's potential friend did not seem to be too fond of. This was a complete disaster. I'll be lucky if Katsukawa-chan ever speaks to me again after tonight... She thought, running her hands through her hair. Inside she was seething, she wanted to strangle Kurumi for even suggesting this horrible game in the first place.

"Me..? I'm just a stranger... Would that relieve Malik-senpai of her Duty? If so, I volunteer."

Nemui wanted to hurl. The heathen that hopped the wall was going to be here while they slept? That was the final straw. There was no way she was going to sleep tonight if he was here. He gave her the creeps! What kind of guy trespasses at a strangers house this late in the night? While she was somewhat fond of his cousin Ren, Nemui did not trust this 'Izaya' out of her sight. He was shady. Something about him screamed 'bad news', she just wasn't sure exactly why she was getting these vibes, well, aside from him trespassing and all. Yes, let the felony waiting to happen inside of our home. When we are all found dead, don't blame me!

I suppose you're stuck with me a while longer, neighbor."

Nemui frowned, realizing there was no getting out of this. Izaya was spending the night at Sakura Square whether she liked it or not... This was supposed to be her home, yet she felt like an outsider with no say in the matter. She adjusted her glasses and leaned back in the couch, trying her very best to disappear. She did not want to be here anymore. She wanted to go home more than anything in the world. She did not want to be a Kitomura. She definitely didn't want to live at Sakura Square... and if she ever played this game again, it would be too soon. I just want to finish my manga, is that too much to ask?

"Next round, yeah? Can't do that one yet anyhow."

Nemui watched as Izaya was passed the sticks. The last thing she wanted was to get anywhere near him, but to get on with it, she sucked it up and quickly plucked a stick from his hand, leaning back in her spot, completely ignoring Izaya's existence. The sooner this game ended, the sooner she could drown everyone else out by reading her shoujo manga. She was cut off at the best part! Besides, she had a lot of studying to catch up on. While the pretest was easy as pie, she did not want to get cocky and fall behind. Staying ahead was something Nemui prided herself in, but it was also her way of keeping her worst nightmare from ever becoming a reality; failing a test. She had never bombed an exam before, nor did she wish to ever do so if possible.

"Everyone draw so we can get this game over with, okay?"

Izaya's impatience made Nemui glance his way, but she immediately gazed upon everyone else, "I-I have some studying to do.. We should hurry. Some of us have to get home before we're grounded." She stated, glancing to each person in the room except Kurumi and Izaya, eyes lingering on Aina with a shake of her head when the word 'grounded' left her lips, her words mocking Aina to the fullest. Nemui was royally ticked off, a new side to the shy girl displayed for all in the room to see. She had been keeping everything inside, but no more. She didn't want to look at either one of them right now. Kurumi was apparently keeping secrets from her, while complicating their relationship with their brothers by KISSING one of them. Nemui immediately let out a sigh, trying to keep her frustration in line, she didn't look toward Izaya because as far as Nemui's opinion was concerned, Izaya was untrustworthy. Not to mention he intimidated her...

ImageIsn't this interesting? The pot has just blew which he was referring to Nemui who was rather biting on Aina. He had feeling that the chocolate-skinned girl has an interesting darkness that he would like to poke. It started with that little poke of his from earlier and now. The girl's reaction was different from the others. It seemed her dread was from staying. That was the trigger which he could use when needed to ease his boredom. This is why he likes observing and fanning the flames.

"Well, I guess the situation resolved itself." He interjected with that carefree and cheerful smile of his. It was like that nothing can really phase him from his hospitable host of a mask. Of course, it's not like they really knew that. "So, let's not all get in a bad mood. This is for fun after all." He added while smiling at them all. He then reached for the stick and looked at what it represented. "Malik-san, I hope you don't mind me providing a consequence. After all, you did avoid the order."

His eyes of orange seemed to gain a shine whether it was good or not. It was only him who knew what it meant. "I don't think anyone would mind that I provide that order for tomorrow." He leaned on his chair while taking out a strawberry lollipop from his pocket and unwrapped it. "Suspense is part of the fun." He then pop it into his mouth, a trademark gesture of his with that unflinching smile of his. His eyes landed on Aina just to prove a point and to see an interesting reaction, because of what he understood, the older girl was ridiculously scared and confused of him. He wanted to feed on that.

"So, let's continue on. We only have a few minutes before we end the game." He pointed at the nearby clock. He was not the King of this round. He is number 8 this time around. Well, he already has his pick and for later in regards to Aina. He only hoped that the next King would provide another entertaining event for him to witness. Well, he could also act on it. That is no big deal for him. He might even have fun while doing whatever order it might be.

"Oh right, Shuuhei-san." He was also well-aware that there seemed to be wariness towards the newcomer from his brother and so-called new stepsister. "Would Mari-baachan be fine without you? You did say she would need you." He was only asking of course in best interest of everyone. "I could take your place in guarding. It won't be a hassle, since I do live here." He was speaking in his ever polite tone. "If Suzuki-san is leaving, Mari-baachan would be on her own. It would be best to stay with her."

It was the best he could do at this moment. After all, he is not tied to any kind of order that can tie him up. "I don't think there would be much of a problem with Kurumi-san and Kuu-nii sleeping together." He looked at the two with a knowing gaze which meant something beyond what he was about to say, but anyone was free to interpret. "We're siblings after all." He ended his opinion about that and looked back at Izaya. "So, don't worry. I can handle things from here." He then took out another lollipop and handed it to Aina. "Have some, Malik-san. It would ease your nerves." Once he was certain she took it, he munched on his lollipop before gesturing for the others.

"Now get your sticks. Let's see what the King has in mind for all of us."

Image She was grateful. Izaya and Shin were helping her out and that made her feel safe. At the same time, she also learned how comforting it is to feel to hear Ren's name. It provided her a warm feeling and the sense of comfort. She could only assume it was due to the fact that he is one of the few people who she will never forget and had a connection with in her past. "Thank you." She offered Izaya especially with him comforting her. There was also Shin suggesting another way. It was a bit extreme, but it was the thought that counts.

There were a few exchange of words before it came for Izaya volunteering for her. She looked up at him with those eyes of uncertainty, gratefulness and also a bit of guilt. After all, she really didn't want to cause any sort of inconvenience to anyone especially to him, Ren's cousin. He was also being kind in comforting her. "I am sorry..." She held his hand and wanted to offer her sincerest apology and gratitude, but before she could say anything else, Nemui had snapped at her. It surprised her and that showed on her face.

"Nemui-san... I." She has a good reason why she can't stay over. It was her secret, but she also understood why this seemed to appear as unfair. Everyone was doing their best even if they had to lie. It's just that she really can't afford it. Her secret to be revealed would only make people look at her with pity and she can't have that again. That would only mean that people would never look at her properly. She would also make other people compensate for her. That was something she can't have as well. They all have lives they need to run, hers does not count.

She looked down and bit her lower lip when Nemui deliberately mocked her. She can't disagree with the younger girl's disposition of her reasons. This was however alleviated by Yukito who offered a solution. Somehow, she felt her skin crawl as she remembered what happened earlier between them. But at the same time, she was thankful for his suggestion and even replacing Izaya from being the guard. "Kitomura-kun." She started and that's when a lollipop was handed to her. She took it. "Thank you and I am fine with my consequence."

Right now, she felt that she's making a deal with the devil. But, there was no other way out for her. Who would have known that someone as cheerful and handsome as Yukito has an underlying darkness that can kill. "I will accept it." With that said, she had already pulled away from Izaya and straightened herself. She looked at the sticks shakily and really hoped that the next King would be not extreme in the order. Gathering her nerves, she finally reached for a stick and took a look at it. She was not the King. It means that she won't be safe.

She pulled the stick towards her chest while looking at Nemui who was clearly upset with her. It wasn't like her to argue especially if she knew that she was doing something wrong in a sense. It's just that she really can't afford to reveal her secret. She also doesn't want anyone to see what she is like during the mornings. The panic, the distress, the sadness, and the deafening sound of pain echoing in every fiber of her body. She could not have them see that. She couldn't that's when she looked back at her stick. She can't apologize to Nemui for what she had done in avoiding the order.

Image Everyone was at their wit's end by the looks of it. This game was driving everyone to the edge except for a certain teen idol who was from the looks of it enjoying the show, so to say. The guy was probably lashing out and his guess was probably right since he received the news about it. This was probably why Yukito even became bold enough to make a move on Aina, despite the age and just knowing each other. Well, the younger male had been known to have no limitation with those flirtatious and provocative gestures. So, the territory was not new to the idol.

Anyway, it seemed that his suggestion was categorized as a bit too much by them. It was fine, there was no love lost there. He looked at Kurumi. "Is it? I'm sorry." He did not see the point of arguing after all, the situation Kurumi would be placed in was already awkward. They might be siblings, but they're not blood-related and that can lead to many complications. After all, they are man and woman. So, he does understand it. "Whatever you think is better." That was all he had to say about Kurumi's suggestion of having Izaya, Ren's cousin to take Aina's place.

This was also supported by Himeko the one who gave the order. There was a bit of resistance from Yukito's older brother. But, it seemed to be forgotten as Izaya agreed to volunteer to do it in place of Aina. Well, it seemed the problem was resolved and he could see that Aina was seemingly relieved about it as well. It was a curious thing really to see the foreign girl in a state of panic. The others seemed to take everything in stride as much as they can, Aina must have a really heavy reason to outright refuse it.

Then again, Nemui's outburst was surprising to everyone. It was especially to Aina who looked like a deer in headlights. "That is ---" He was about to say something, but Yukito took the stage at that point. The younger boy injected into the situation smoothly and offered a leeway. Aina would be imposed with a consequence, an order that would be done tomorrow and imposed by Yukito. That was Devil's deal if he ever knew one. Aina would have been better off guarding, but she accepted it. It seems the Devil is a lesser consequence than guarding and staying over. "Your choice." He muttered under his breath while releasing a sigh.

At that point, Yukito even solved the guarding situation with most logical solution. Izaya did say about a grandmother and needed to go home quickly. This was a sensible compromise. That's why it would be Yukito to stand guard. It was indeed no hassle since he lives here and knowing Yukito, the guy would make sure the two sleep in one room. "I believe that's the best solution of compromise for everyone." He seconded it and did notice also the underlying issue to have Izaya staying over. The guy was not the best choice for security since the guy ignored it the first time and he also observed Nemui's seemingly subtle aversion.

"All right, let's end this game." He glanced at Himeko who yawned indicating she was tired, probably like everyone else. He took a stick and paused for a moment. "I'm the King." It's time for him to give out an order. He was torn between making an easy one or difficult one to entertain the idol. "Okay. 2 will leave a love bite on 5's body which should be seen for a week." That should be easy and provocative enough.
