Elisa's family isn't her biological family, but they're the realest family she's ever had. She was adopted when she was only nine months old, so blood or not, the only woman that she's ever called mom is Earleatha "Cookie" Johnson, and the only man she's ever called dad is Earvin Johnson Jr., better known as Magic Johnson. Elle was born into money and fame, but growing up, she was only introduced to the money aspect of that. The Johnsons lived well, because there was no reason not to. With a dad worth half a billion dollars, Ellie didn't live a lifestyle that could ever been comparable to the one that her fourteen-year-old single and impoverished mother could have offered her, had she not given her up for adoption immediately following birth.
Her parents gave her the best of both worlds, and Elle has very little to complain about in terms of her childhood. Her father's face never extended down to his children to a point where it infringed on their freedom. She got to enjoy the attention when she attended public events with her dad, but Elisa can walk down the street on any given day and not be given a second look. With such a common last name, it's hard for people to immediately link her with her father, so she's able to enjoy a normal life, just with a lot of financial security. For a young girl, Elle knows that she's incredibly lucky to be able to honestly say that she's comfortable with herself. Physically and mentally, she likes herself and isn't someone who's ridden with insecurities. It would be crazy to claim that there aren't things that she dislikes about herself, but for the most part, she's content with the being that she is. Confidence is something that tends to exude off of her, but not in a condescending or cocky manner. It's more apparent in the easiness that comes with her, and the way that whether she's going makeup free in sweats, or all dolled up in a ball gown, she owns herself. For the most part, it's a good and enviable trait, but even it has some faults.
For one, she doesn't tend to push herself. She's not a very goal-oriented person and since she isn't trying to be bigger and better to become someone or reach a goal, she's fallen onto a reckless path. Arguably, it might simply be her nature over her situation, but she tends to be impulsive, easily influenced, reckless, and a short-term thinker. If something seems fun, she's trying it, because, why not? She doesn't think things through in a long term way, which often comes back to haunt her. However, the sisterhood that she found in her house has turned Elisa into a Zeta Nu Delta for life. She only pledged a year ago, but she loved her freshman year as a Greek member and couldn't imagine not being in the system.
Plans for after college:
Elisa started off as a history major. When that didn't work, she switched over to English, but she isn't devoted to the major enough to make a career out of it. Honestly, she has no idea as to what she wants to do when she graduates. She's loved walking in the few runway shows that she's done, but she's also not into fashion enough where she can see herself being a designer or something. She has no plans at this point. Her parents have tasked her with trying to create some type of real plan this year, but who knows how well that will go.
