Yokaiden Fantasy

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I really would like to do some kind of RP set in semi-medieval Japan. The thrilling monsters that are native to Japan (and only Japan) are real here, silly and dangerous alike. They live and thrive here, interacting with humans, even if the humans don't know it.

If you know the manga Yokaiden you've probably already guess where my inspiration came from, if you haven't heard of it I suggest reading it. It's hilarious and you can't help but love Hamachi, the idiotic child of a main character, no matter how much that spot on your forehead stings from facepalming so much.

However, I haven't come here to recommend literature. There isn't really a steady, for sure plot for this, just an idea of the settings for the most part, suggestions are always welcome though, and any kind of interest will be acknowledged.

I, personally, plan on creating a tengu character. Any type of yokai is available for the taking, though the rule is that you have to be of the same species for a romance if two characters decide on that. I'm hoping that this will become a group RP, though I am open to making this a 1x1 or private RP if asked to.
