Koharu straightened her back as her father walked in, holding a childs hand. Most kids would just show a facial expression of disgust. A mafia boss bringing in another kid meant competition, and the little girl had burning red hair and peircing blue-grey eyes. She'd be considered a freak in most places, but here...she would be seen as strong. Koharus gaze softened at the sight of the kid, she loved children. She found them so innocent, so lovely. Unlike adults who were corrupted and sinful.

"Koharu, this is Bhu-Bhu. She'll be a part of the family from this day onwards," he stated. Her father was a fit man with medium length blonde hair, part of it went over the right side of his face sometimes. His smile was seen as charming by most people. He let go of the little girls hand and ruffled her hair, a small smile on his face. Disgusting.

"Nice to meet you Bhu," Koharu bowed slightly and her mother got up.

"I'll go prepare your room," her mother, Alan, said before leaving the room. Koharu could stand her mother...but whenever she was around her father, she had an itch to kill him. It almost was unbearable.

Bhu was being led, to where, she didn't know. She didn't know anything, her memory, except for a few lonely blurred images as well as her name and who she was, was a vast sea of nothingness. Bhu couldn't feel either, her heart didn't seem to want to beat, the corners of her mouth pulled down by invisible weights. The world around her was grey, muffled, dull, and to her nothing was beautiful anymore. why? she often asked herself. She didn't understand why her body and mind held these symptoms, part of her didn't want to know.

She let herself be lead, she didn't care where, as long as everyone around her left. They all said they were so sorry, but for what? Had they wronged her somehow? Surely not, she'd remember it, right?

Her shoes clacked on wood, expensive wood, she noted. The man beside her was tall, as tall as a tree, strong to. His voice was somehow loud enough to penetrate her grey world. "Koharu, this is Bhu-Bhu. She'll be a part of the family from this day onwards,"

Family? What is that? the word was so....familiar....yet foreign. She almost asked but the words stayed cramped behind her zipped mouth. Instead she lifted her heavy eyes to see just who Koharu was. She was expecting another woman to tell her how sorry she was, not a beautiful young girl in a colorful kimono. Her hair was as dark as her eyes, which held a cold disdain in them towards the man beside Bhu this appealed to Bhu. All she'd seen were mushy eyes that had no strength, no power. The little girl gaped, her mouth forming an "O".

A firm hand ruffling her tidy red hair shook her from her state and back into her stupor. She noticed that her hand had been dropped, but the overwhelming presence of this man still almost toppled her over. The girl, Koharu, bowed slightly towards Bhu.

"Nice to meet you Bhu," she said. Bhu almost smiled, she wanted to, but the weights at her mouth would lift. So she just nodded.

"I'll go prepare your room," said a woman with even more steel in her eyes, Bhu felt that she needed to keep her head down around these people, every presence was overbearing. Except Koharu's, Bhu chanced another look at the girl, to find her glaring again, at the man who had led Bhu here.

Koharus eyes followed her mother’s figure out the door, how could someone like her marry her father? Her mother was beautiful, slim with long black hair. She had a certain charisma about her that no one could match. Her mother had taught herself how to fight and because of that she specialized in street fighting, perfect for a mafia boss. She held herself up, and made sure she was respected. Koharu liked that about her mother but she still couldn’t handle being around either of parents but, if she had to choose…she’d rather be around her mother then father.

”I leave this little one in your hands Koharu,” Drake, her father said, ”Don’t do anything reckless,’ he said, his voice suddenly became dark and a fake smile was plastered on his face. Koharu returned the smile, returning it with just as much fake and brightness to it, ”of course father she said brightly. He turned his back to her and left the room, closing the door softly behind him. She could still hear his shoes clack on the wood as he left..Then she heard a gun be loaded. It was the faintest sound, but Koharu recognized it. She’d heard it a thousand times in training, at dinners, balls/dances, parties, family gatherings, etc.

Koharu sat up, holding her head high and with her hands gently crossing over the other in front of her. She stuck one hand out to the little girl and smiled sweetly at her. All that anger and hatred that was in her eyes disappeared, she loved kids and she knew that those scary feelings scared them off. Kids could sense anger or sadness even better than adults; they were more sensitive to that kind of thing. Which was why she loved kids, they were innocent, loving, forgiving, and helped keep the childish you alive inside. ”Come Bhu-Bhu, I’ll show you around the garden,” she said, her voice as sweet as honey.
