Bhu was being led, to where, she didn't know. She didn't know anything, her memory, except for a few lonely blurred images as well as her name and who she was, was a vast sea of nothingness. Bhu couldn't feel either, her heart didn't seem to want to beat, the corners of her mouth pulled down by invisible weights. The world around her was grey, muffled, dull, and to her nothing was beautiful anymore. why? she often asked herself. She didn't understand why her body and mind held these symptoms, part of her didn't want to know.
She let herself be lead, she didn't care where, as long as everyone around her left. They all said they were so sorry, but for what? Had they wronged her somehow? Surely not, she'd remember it, right?
Her shoes clacked on wood, expensive wood, she noted. The man beside her was tall, as tall as a tree, strong to. His voice was somehow loud enough to penetrate her grey world. "Koharu, this is Bhu-Bhu. She'll be a part of the family from this day onwards,"
Family? What is that? the word was so....familiar....yet foreign. She almost asked but the words stayed cramped behind her zipped mouth. Instead she lifted her heavy eyes to see just who Koharu was. She was expecting another woman to tell her how sorry she was, not a beautiful young girl in a colorful kimono. Her hair was as dark as her eyes, which held a cold disdain in them towards the man beside Bhu this appealed to Bhu. All she'd seen were mushy eyes that had no strength, no power. The little girl gaped, her mouth forming an "O".
A firm hand ruffling her tidy red hair shook her from her state and back into her stupor. She noticed that her hand had been dropped, but the overwhelming presence of this man still almost toppled her over. The girl, Koharu, bowed slightly towards Bhu.
"Nice to meet you Bhu," she said. Bhu almost smiled, she wanted to, but the weights at her mouth would lift. So she just nodded.
"I'll go prepare your room," said a woman with even more steel in her eyes, Bhu felt that she needed to keep her head down around these people, every presence was overbearing. Except Koharu's, Bhu chanced another look at the girl, to find her glaring again, at the man who had led Bhu here.
