In 2007; the government was getting more and more worried about the threat posed by terrorist groups. After the events of 9 11, and then the london bombings. Some raids on households of terrorists had been successful; indeed a large group had been apprehended and stopped in their tracks. But still the government needed mroe information. So they decided to send in two "deniable operators" on a mission into the midst of the terrorist orginisation named Al Qaeda. Deniable operators are members of MI6 who are sent on missions "to the other side"; to gather information. But this may include taking part in some planning of terrorist attacks; something the British public would find unacceptable. The name Deniable Operators meant, in short, that if they were caught they were on their own. A story had been pre-prepared for the press, the story would be that they had both gone over to the other side for the money. It was an old-school plot, and the government were confident that the skills of the two agents would be enough to ensure their safety while they gathered information.
Their big break came after several months of working for the terrorists; someone back in britain, a desk operator, was handing out information to the terrorists about governmental plots against the terrorists. He was doing this purely for the money. However at the same time that the two agents had found out this important piece of information, the desk operator in question also found out about their existence. Before the two agents could move out the Terrorists were alerted as to who they really were. The terrorist group they had infiltrated tipped off the police, saying the agents were terrorists and giving fake evidence over the phone, and through an internet site. The police captured the agents and threw them in a Afghani jail to rot.
However; the case was not closed. They escaped the prison three months later, leading a mass breakout. Now the desk operator helping the terrorists, named Anthony Britton, is now desperately trying to locate the former Deniable operators and have them killed. If he succeeds the biggest chance to get a step ahead in the fight against terrorism will be lost, irretrievably. The agents are hiding; but if they go to the press the nation will be shaken to its core. They know this and have no wish to see the country in chaos; so they must find a different way of dealing with the problem. The only lead open to them is obvious, but extremely difficult to achieve. There is only one way to deal with the traitor. Elimination.
Ok, I will play one of the agents or the desk operator feeding the terrorists information, depending on the roles other people want to fulfil.
Roles are:
MI6 operatives: these work for Anthony Britton, although they are not aware of the truth and believe they are simply tracking down a couple of "agents gone bad"; a max of 4 people for this.
Deniable Operators: The two agents who led the mass breakout from prison
Anthony Britton: The traitor in MI6 who is feeding terrorists information and wants the two deniable operators dead
Journalist: A journalist who did the original articles about the deniables operators being traitors and who has picked up on the possible coverup by the government.
CHARACTER SHEET

Personality:
History:
I MIGHT allow you not to make a character sheet if you can use your first few posts to get in the name, age appearance and nationality of your chosen character. Personality and History could be devloped over the entire roleplay, but only do this if you can definitely make sure you bring all this out in the actual RP.
The RP will end when:
A/ The Deniable Operators are killed
B/ Anthony Britton is killed
C/ The journalist uncovers the truth; in which case the Deniable operators are safe and Anthony Britton would either be captured or would flee the country and escape
D/ Anthony Britton decides to cut his losses and flee before he is found and killed.
