RacesHumans:The most numerous, yet the most divided of all the races. Only four times they have ever united under a single cause, the last being centuries ago. Religion and the Chantry play a large part in human society. It distinguishes them culturally from elves and dwarves more than anything else. Humans can be warriors, rogues or mages
Dalish/Elves: Once enslaved by humans, most elves have all but lost their culture, scrounging an impoverished living in the slums of human cities. Only the nomadic Dalish tribes still cling to their traditions, living by the bow and the rule of their old gods as they roam the ancient forests, welcome nowhere else. Elves can be warriors, rogues or mages.
Dwarves: Rigidly bound by caste and tradition, the dwarves have been waging a losing war for generations, trying to protect the last stronghold of their once vast underground empire from darkspawn. Dwarves are very tough and have a high resistance to all forms of magic, thus preventing them from becoming mages.
Qunari: Gold-skinned giants said to hail from an eastern land across the Boeric Ocean, the qunari are a mystery to most people. To some, they are hated conquerors whose deadly skill at combat and destructive technology nearly brought the civilized world to its knees. To others they are heathens, worshippers of a strange religion that seek to spread it to “lesser” races by force. Still to others, such as in the southern lands of Ferelden, they are a legend, strange creatures from the far north that have been seen only on rare occasion since the peace began.
ClassesWarrior: They are powerful fighters focusing on melee and ranged weapons to deal with their foes. They can withstand and deliver a great deal of punishment, and have a strong understanding of tactics and strategy.
Berserkers: would sacrifice finesse for the dark rage that increased their strength and resilience. The first berserkers were dwarves but eventually, dwarves taught these skills to others, and now berserkers can be found amongst all races. They are renowned as terrifying adversaries.
The Champion: is a veteran soldier and a confident leader. Their skill and bravery are impressive enough to inspire allies, and demoralize the enemy. They lead heroes and armies headlong into danger.
Reavers: terrorize their enemies, feast upon the souls of their slain opponents to heal their own flesh, and can unleash a blood frenzy that makes them more powerful as they come nearer to their own deaths.
Mages: focus on spells in order to deliver damage and debilitate their enemies, as well as support and heal their allies.
Shapeshifters: to change their shape and offers them some protection, even in their natural form. Making them durable opponents and staunch allies.
spirit healers: have the ability to summon protective and restorative spirits from the Fade and can mend flesh and cure diseases
Blood Mages: must be willing to sacrifice his own life force or that of allies, in order to be able to use this dark magic.
Rogues: are skilled adventurers who come from all walks of life. All rogues possess some skill in picking locks and spotting traps.
assassin: finds any notion of fairness a quaint ideal that has no place in combat. Poisons are their weapon of choice, as are crippling strikes that inflict persistent wounds on their foes
Duelists: are deadly fighters who prefer light armor and weapons for quick, yet accurate strikes. They have an almost supernatural reaction speed and are able to dodge attacks with ease
Rangers have an affinity for open terrain and wildlife and are often used as independent scouts and militias. They use the environment to their advantage and can bring wild animals to attack their enemies.
