Kidnapped

You grew up in a not so pleasent life. You had always wished to escape but now something bad has happened to you. You have been kidnapped by a man and woman. They throw you into the back of their van and make sure you don't have cellphones. They tell you to call them John and Laura, they say they are now your masters, parents. You must do everything they say if you want to get out alive. They stop the car after hours and lead you to a house on large property. It is surrounded by tons of fields which are growing crops. They tell you this is your new home and you will be treated well here. They provide you with clothes, food and a nice bedroom but all day everyday other than Saturday and Sunday you will be out working in the fields.

They have strict rules that they have posted on each door;
You may not talk to anyone who doesn't live on the property.
You may not leave the property
You must adress John and Laura as sir and ma'am unless you are over 15.
You must not eat more than the three provided meals.
Every child under 10 must wear diapers, dress[girls], overalls[boys] and boots.
Every child over 10 must wear shirt, jeans and boots.
All of the girls will be cooking, cleaning and working in the feilds.
All of the boys will by working in the fields.
You must do everything John and Laura say.

Rules;
Be literate. If you don't show me in your profile that you will be able to meet the two-hundred words per post requirement, you won't be accepted. Use realistic pictures for the appearance. Don't join if you are going to abandon the roleplay after a few days.

How you got kidnapped:
After a college party Jade was invited to, she made her way out to her dark green Checy pick-up truck. Being completely sober, she unlocked the door, and just as she was about to get in and head home, someone grabbed her from behind, placing a rag damp, really damp, with alochol over her mouth. She remembered being in total darkness, and when she woke up, well, she didn't regonize where she was.
Personality: Jade's a real samrt-ass, if there's something done wrong, she has to always point it out. She's beautiful and intellegent, two fantastic traits. In school, Jade makes just about all A's, with that ever so often B, and has many friends. Jade doesn't believe in love, so she never really bothered having a boyfriend-she's scared of having her heart broke. She's sweet, but fierce. At any moment, if you say just the right thing, she could lash out at you. Although she gives off the appearence of being delicate and fragile, she's actually strong and brave. Jade's not afraid to stand up in what she believes in, and hates John and Laura with a passion. One day, she hopes to escape from "hell" and lock the couple up, and all the kids can return to their true homes.

Name: Ian Jason Edwards

How you got kidnapped: Ian wasonce again out past the cities curfew with some friends. They had been at a party that lasted too long and after one too many drinks decided to head home. Ian somehow still retaining some of his intellegence refused to ride with his drunk friends and decided he would walk the 3 miles to his own home. It was during his trek that he was taken by John and Luara.
Personality: Rebelious. Ian doesn't like doing what he is told and he is a strong-willed stubborn person. If he doesn't like something you can be sure he will let you know. He has lived with John and Laura for 2 years now he doesn't it one bit. He is one of the few people who stand up to them but he recieves his more than fair share of punishment for it. He's certain the only reason they keep him around is because he is a hard worker and gets a lot done in the fields though that doesn't make him irreplaceable. He is a very protective caring young man who would put his life on the line to save some one else.

Age: 6
How you got kidnapped: Lillian's older brother Marcus was supposed to stay home and babysit her but instead he decided they would go to the mall and see his girlfriend. While at the mall Marcus got a bit......distracted....... and Lillian being the ever crious child she was wandered off. When she came back to where Marcus was he was gone (realizing she had left he was looking for her) she decided that maybe he was waiting for her in the car and ventured outside to find him when the van came up behind and her and she was snatched.
Personality: She is a shy timid little thing. She does what she is told and doesn't have second thoughts about it. She tries to be the very best she can be and is always polite and never complains. Believing that if she is a good little girl John and Luara will let her go back home. If she is punished she believes she deserved it having coped with her situation by thinking of her new 'parents' as saviors. She thinks that if they had not found her and taken her here to live with them that someone would have kidnapped her or killed her. This being said she tries her hardest to please them and lives by the old saying that children are to be seen not heard.

As long as you can keep up with two characters, go for it.

I know that I've gotten a request from someone else to also reserve the spot of a young girl who will be the only blood-child to John and Laura, but I think she may be a bit older than six.

Name: Katherine "Katy" {john+laura's last name}
Age: Eight
Personality: Katherine is the only daughter to John and Laura. She was born at the farm house eight years ago, and hasn't left the property since. For as long as she can remember, her parents have been bringing in new children and forcing them to work at the home and on the farm. Katy never had to do any of the work, atleast when she behaved, so over the years she has become a bit of a control-freak. When her parents aren't around to order around the hostages, Katy will gladly take their role. She yells, screams and insults the kidnapped children, even though she knows that many of them are older and stronger than her. She is rude, obnoxious and lazy. When she does annoy her parents enough to have to work, Katherine will spend most of her time whining until John has to yell at her. Her father is someone who Katy fears the most, and she wishes that she had an actual relationship with him other than having to follow his orders like the kidnapped kids.

Name: Zackaray (Zack) Thomas
Age[6-17]: Zackaray is 17 years old, just turned in late September.
How you got kidnapped: Zackaray was headed to his high school soccer practice with a couple of his friends and decided to catch up with them later, because he was going to stop for food. Since he was the only one who went, he went into a local diner, alone, and sat down to have a light afternoon meal. Upon finishing up his meal, he noticed a woman staring at him from the distance, and this instantly sparked his nervousness, and awareness. Keeping an eye on her, he left the small diner, only to be chased not long after that, tackled to the ground, and tied up. There were no witnesses, considering he had been chased into a small alleyway, and was from there on gagged with a bandana, and knocked unconscious.
Personality: Zack is a somewhat shy guy, but once he gets to know someone, he is very sociable and easy going. He's easy to get along with, and is a cutesy-flirty type. When he sees a girl he is interested in, he's not afraid to drop little hints, but is very reluctant to just boldly open up. He tries to keep his feelings hidden, considering he is easily set-off, and/or saddened. He is somewhat emotional, but does a good job of hiding the facial expression. Other than that, he is a pretty nice guy.
Appearance: Zackaray's natural hair color is a vibrant red, and shines brightly in the sun. It reaches down to maybe a little bit past the middle of his back, and is very soft (although it does look stringy sometimes). He has beautiful misty green eyes that compliment his red hair; the shape of his eyes equal that of half-almonds, and are not wide. His skin tone is fairly tan, but does show some sunburned areas when he is out in the sun for long periods of a time. As far as body muscle goes - he may not look it, but he does have a lot of upper body and of course lower body strength. He is a runner, and has an athlete's body.

And although the picture doesn't show it, he DOES wear a shirt!

How you got kidnapped: Calleigh was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her twin brother had failed to pick her up and because Calleigh is deaf she didn't even hear when the van came from behind, the people left it and grabbed her. It was too late to struggle and Calleigh isn't much of a fighter.
Personality: Calleigh has always been a shy and timid girl. She's not one to be outspoken or to stand up for herself. She can talk, lip read and communicate through sign-language due to her mothers persistance that she started off in a school for the deaf. Because of her disability though it's made her slightly withdrawn, especially after she went to a normal school and people teased her because her speech sounded off.
Once people get to know her though, they tend to realise that she's a really nice, caring and loving person. Though since her kidnapping she's become even more withdrawn and even more silent. It's a rareity if you hear Calleigh start to speak. She doesn't argue either. When jobs need doing she gets them done; no questions asked.
Appearance: Long autumn red hair that is thick and slightly wavy, and ice blue eyes hidden behind a pair of black thin-framed, set of glasses. Calleigh isn't stick thin but not obese either. She has a bit of fat to her stomach and legs, enough to make her look healthy and have meat to her bones. She's around 5'4 and 138lbs. She has pale skin and a bunch of reddy brown freckles to her face and arms.
Before Calleigh was kidnapped she was the type of girl that was reserved and dressed conservatively, now here, and dressed in shirts, jeans and boots, she's just glad that she doesn't have to dress in anything revealling and have lots of skin showing, something which Calleigh has always hated.

How you got kidnapped:
Allie was up late as usual at the library until closing time. Her parents were too used her late reading sessions to think about checking up on her. She didn't notice the van parked in a near-by alley as she was leaving the building but as soon as she was on her own she was grabbed from behind by a stranger. Allie had never been a tough girl but she fought never-the-less, even biting down on the woman's arm as hard as she could. Next thing she knew there was a yell of pain and outrage, something hard colliding with the back of her head, and darkness. Blissful darkness that took her away from the pain and fear of what was happening to her even as her body was loaded into the van and taken away before anyone had a chance to figure out what happened and call the police.
Personality:
Described in two simple words, Allie is a gentle soul. Over a span of her life she has built a bubble around herself to live in, believing that there is good in everyone and everything. It is no wonder that since childhood Allie has been immersed in the world of books, believing it to be escapism at its best. Around groups of people, she takes the role of the observer. Rather soft spoken and not terribly opinionated in these cases, she doesn't talk much at all but does enjoy listening to conversations. If caught one on one, however, her shell breaks away easily and she eagerly starts talking about anything and everything that comes up in conversation, often times making one wonder where this personality disappears to once the room gets crowded. It is easy to make her laugh and much tougher to make her cry but the girl does have her limits if pushed enough.

BehindMyMask, I don't think that a deaf person would really fit into this setting. If John and Laura kidnapped her, once they realized she was deaf they would have killed her because she wouldn't be able to work as well as 100% functioning people.

How you got kidnapped: Haylee was in the movies with her mother when she saw a cute teddybear on the ground. Of course, when little girls see at teddy, they want it, so Haylee went and picked it up. As she picked it up she spotted a balloon, near the door. She ran over and grabbed the ballon. As she did, she was grabbed and slammed into the back of a truck. The last thing she saw was darkness.
Personality: Haylee is cute and cuddly. She is hyper and is very loud. She often gets in trouble for not doing as she is told. Don't tell her near sugar. THAT IS YOUR ONLY WARNING! You don't want to know how hyper she will get. Haylee loves to sing and dance. Haylee loves being the center of attention and will do anything to get it. She often has tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants. Haylee is quite short and loves being picked up and twirled around. Haylee is a child that doesn't get the meaning of 'sush' and 'children should be seen and not heard'. You have to be patient around her. She is terribly afraid of the dark.
