There once, was a Nightmare, that wanted to become more...
It fed off of other Nightmares and Dreams,
Stealing their magic, and becoming bigger and bigger,
Until one day,
It became a City,
Where the Moon is always out,
Day or Night,
And the Monsters live and roam,
Where your worst Nightmares,
And your sweetest Dreams,
Live together under one Moon.
Welcome to Lunar City, Where anything can happen...

In Lunar City, every creature you could possibly think of lives here.
Vampires, Witches, Fairies, Demons, Angels, and Mermaids lead normal lives.
They go to school, work, and fall in love just like you or me.
The only difference is that they're not human...

Some info about Lunar City
In the City, we have quite a unique sky. During the day, the sky is a light blue color and the sun shines brightly, but you can still clearly see the moon.
At night the moon is accomponied by millions of stars, one for each person dreaming, and when the stars fall, that means the person has woken up.
No matter how bright the stars are, however, the moon glows brighter at night than the sun during the day.

Now let's get to the actual city. The city is divided into two districts, North Lunar and South Lunar.

North Lunar
North Lunar is typically where Dreams live. Dreams are angels, fairies, and other creatures associated with goodness by the human mind.Not all of the residence here are nice or good by any means.
The buidings here are usually white or brightly colored. The main theme in North Lunar is Ancient Greek, because much of the architecture is modeled after that time period.
Flowers are always in bloom in North Lunar since they are tended to by sprites and faries. The Dreams gain all their power from the Lunar Heart, an item held in City Hall. Their power comes from the right side of the Heart, where the hopes in human's hearts are held.

South Lunar
South Lunar is typically where Nightmares live. Nightmares are witches, werewolves, and other creatures associated with evil by the human mind. Not all of the residence here are evil or mean by any means.
The buildings tend to be black or dark colors. There are many Victorian style houses in South Lunar. About one third of South Lunar is Black Wood Forest, a forest where the worst Nightmares lurk. Creatures that cannot even be described. Werewolves often go there for pack meetings and hunts. Most of the trees in South Lunar are dead and charred. The Nightmares gain their power and magic from the left side of the Lunar Heart, the side that holds the fear in humans hearts.

In the center of the two districts are three major locations. City Hall, where six representantives from North and South Lunar, discuss and debate the current issues of the city as a whole. The Sleeper's Oasis, where the Dreams and Nightmares can gather to watch, and even affect dreams of sleeping humans. The Oasis actually reflects the moon flawlessly at night, and the whole city was built around it. And the newest addition is Stellar High, a highschool where both Nightmares and Dreams teenagers attend.

Short Bio: There was never a “birth”, so to speak. If ever there was one, Sunan had no knowledge of it; there was only existence. Sunan’s kind (which lack a definitive gender) have been known to have existed for thousands of years, even having been mentioned in the Bible as “Orobas”, Lucifer’s demon oracle. However, after over two-thirds of a millennium, Sunan has long since changed his ways. Despite still being considered a “Nightmare” creature, he has made his neutral opinions well known amongst the otherworldly inhabitants, securing his position in City Hall as a South Lunar Representative.
However, Sunan was not always the demon he is today. Many, many years ago, he was rebellious and twisted and revelled in all things evil. There was a time when others would run in fear, calling him the Harbinger, since he did nothing but destroy. However, when things were at their most bleak, there were those from the North that, with all their sickening goodness, wanted to do nothing but help. Sunan knew no other way to live other than shrouding himself in negative energy, but they were willing to teach him differently. There was a seal placed over his ajna chakra (third eye), not necessarily to block his visions, but to clear them of all the dark, negative auras. Since then – though it took plenty of time to learn how to think so differently – Sunan has played a vital neutral body in the Counsel.

Personality: Being so neutral doesn’t necessarily mean he has a bright, effervescent personality. Some might call him dull or boring. Being an oracle and knowing what he does, Sunan rarely shows emotion, mostly because he is unable to. Being innately evil at first made those witness to it assume he was an emotionally driven force. Although, he can pretend to have feelings, in order to achieve his goals.

Name: Helkrinn
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Nightmare or Dream?: Nightmare
Race: Demon
Appearance: From head to toe, this garish beast is 7 feet 8 inches with a six foot tail. The flesh is very thin, transparent to reveal the bloody viscera beneath. This leaves him open and prone to attack, though his guard is rarely let down. His weapons are teeth and talon, with a mouth full of razor sharp fangs and triple-jointed fingers and toes with dagger-like talons. Much like a scorpion, there is a poisonous barb at the end of the prehensile tail, which is whip-like in its movements. However, he does not possess the ability to see. Helkrinn and his race are, essentially, blind. They do have a heightened sense of awareness and use echolocation to assess their surroundings.
Short Bio: Being the beast of nightmare that he is, Helkrinn lives in total seclusion beneath Lunar’s crust. His home is a labyrinth of tunnels and dens dug by his own talons beneath the bustling streets of South Lunar. Some in North Lunar even say they have heard some kind of movement beneath their homes, but no one thus far has ventured into the pitch black depths of Helkrinn’s domain.

He is still considered quite young for his species, though he is unsure of his actual age, having no sense of time is entirely to blame. His species is rare and he is only aware of one female in existence and one or two males, though it would be in Lunar’s best interest to keep them apart. Being entirely predatory creatures, The males of this species will destructively fight to the death over a female.

Currently, Helkrinn has been making his distaste for North Lunar quite known. There have been a few Dreams going missing and he has been a prime suspect, though there hasn’t been nearly enough evidence to detain the hellish creature.

Personality: His attitude, though being a strictly predatory beast, is far more intolerable than is necessary. His supposed age dictates his ignorance and shows his unwillingness to change. A suspected leader in a group of like-minded Nightmare’s, Helkrinn is well aware of his threatening position against the Counsel.

Other: Helkrinn’s species are both bipedal and quadruped, they are able to walk on their hind feet as well as on all fours, though it is obvious they are most comfortable as a quadruped.

Short Bio: South Lunar's go-to mistress of information. She's got eyes all over the city, and knows what happenings of importance occur at all times. It's a matter of pride with her. When she became real in Lunar City, she spent the first 50 years of her existence spying on people and dreams/nightmares alike. Senai's presence is that feeling that you get when you think someone is watching you, usually because someone is. She's the eye in the sky, the shadow at your back, your invisible guardian.
Personality: Senai Gulag is overall a nice nightmare, though she has her cruel streaks. Since her body is incorporeal, she likes to unnerve people by walking through both them and the things around them. She has a habit of dissolving into smoke, only to fade in somewhere else.

Short Bio: Since the day he was born, Lykos's mother knew he was special. He was favored by all the Wolves in his pack and he showed much skill in hunting. One night, his pack was out hunting and they were attacked and killed by a group of demons. He was so frightened, only about 6 at the time, and ran out of the woods as quick as possible. He kept running until a witch named Circe found him. She took him to her house where she cared for him, with assistance from her young niece, Medusa. Circe adopted him and he was loving life. He had a very special relationship with Medusa. When they were 14 they started dateing and on Medusa's 16 birthday they slept with each other for the first time. Things have changed since then. Lykos is constantly cheating and flirting with other girls.
Personality: Lykos is a complete manwhore. Sure he's with Medusa, and he thinks he loves her, but his motto is, what she dosen't know won't hurt her. There is a small speck of guilt for what he's doing, but he justifies everything in his head. Besides that, he's known for being a fun loving partier and he can also talk his way out of almost anything.

Short Bio: When Medusa was born her mother died. Then her father in a car accident. Her aunt Circe, an ancient and powerful witch, came and took her in. She named her Medusa because of her green eyes, eyes that Circe felt were very powerful. Medusa grew up having a wealthy childhood, she was bought anything she wanted and did anything she wanted to do, yet Medusa did not end up being a wild child like many excpected. She was polite and good natured. When Lykos came, Medusa instantly fell in love with him. She helped take care of him, and she knew one day he'd thank her. Nowadays, Medusa is still quiet and calm, yet she cries in secret. She knows of Lykos's ways.
Personality: Medusa is calm and collected. She is the model of what every parent wants their daughter to end up as. Yes, she dose have some spice, especially if someone is trying to mess with her and she dosen't take crap from anyone besides Lykos. Many say she's a doormat for Lykos and in many ways she is. But with her, she's determined to stay with him. What can she say, people do some crazy things for love.

Other: Siren's Venom~ If Medusa kisses someone and injects Siren's Venom into them by biting them, she can make them think they're in love with the person of her choosing. This spell only lasts for an hour at most.
Serpent Eyes~ If Medusa stares into someone's eyes while singing,"The serpent eyes, amber and gold, so beautiful, something beautiful to behold.", they won't be able to move for a small period of time.
Goddess's Blessing~ Medusa may call upon the wisdom and powers of any ancient Goddess willing to help her.
Medusa can summon draconic serpents that do whatever she wants

Short Bio: All of the thousand fey in Ellyllon's line are born to adulthood all from the same mother, Mab. Being the youngest has been hard for Ellyllon, because her mother does not have time for her, the youngest. This drove her to the Unseelie Court, an underground society of evil Fey that employ many different nightmares. They accepted her and took her under their wing, acting as the parent she never had out of her mother...
This, however, comes at a price. Upon command from the Court, she is required to give up everything she believes in to create a nightmare out of a dream or risk losing her soul.
Personality: For a fey, Ellyllon is surprisingly dark individual. Her means of directing dreams are all very different from her 999 other, more cheerful sisters, and she will even ask for the help of nightmares if it means doing her job. She is always driven to make an individual learn from a dream, even if she is on assignment from the Court.

Shapeshift: Ellyllon has the ability to shapeshift twice per day into any inanimate object after a few seconds of concentration.
Unseelie Court: Ellyllon has the ability to call out to the court of dark fey to help her perform tasks. Usually nothing happens, but upon occasion (at LuckyNumber's say so) a Nightmare is transported to her location to help out.
Faerie Fire: Ellyllon can conjure dark fire as a part of her pact with the Unseelie Court.
Dream Enterance: Ellylon can enter dreams. All of her powers are also usable in the dream world.

Short Bio: He was always rich and spoiled. If he wanted something it was his. He had grace, charm, and everything going for him. Smart, talented, confident. Not a thing could go wrong until his parents decided to start sending him places he didn't want to go. Then, he showed his true temper. He got addicted to pain and fighting rather quickly, and now starts fights just to experience it. He always found others replaceable. Love them and leave them, and it hasn't changed.
Personality: He has a very violent temper. Cross him in even the slightest way, and he will get angry. You don't want him angry. It's not a good thing. He is also a masochist, and a sadist. Other than that, he's pretty fair. Just consider yourself warned.

Short Bio: He was raised as an orphan. He would have the occasional friend, but they often either turned on him or simply left. He learned to walk away from fights when because he hated the mayhem. He became very self-reliant, but he remained the one to simply sit back and watch things unfold. However he also never wanted to be alone, so he's searching for someone.
Personality: He's quiet and withheld. So far as fight or flight is concerned, he will always, ALWAYS, choose flight. He likes peace and finds beauty and solace in the night. The sight of blood makes him sick, and seeing others in pain makes him cry.

Harken can be kind and calm, traits he inherited from his mother, but at the same time he can be cruel and calculating, a personality he obtained from his father.
