Claire is a very intellectual young woman, although despite her impressiveness academically, she can be quite air-headed in that she is very forgetful and suffers from foot-in-mouth disease, far too blunt for her own good. Unlike most cynical individuals, who tend to tell things like they are, with disregard for emotion, Claire usually confides herself in a room following particularly bad cases of accidental insulting, and chide herself brutally, perhaps calling herself 'moron' a few times, or knocking her head against a wall for good measure. She is kind, and compassionate, and is very caring of her students, as well as fiercely protective of them should anyone make fun of them or insult them. That being said, she is firm, and does not tolerate idiocy, immaturity or disobedience in her class. All in all, she is a good and likable teacher, if perhaps a little forgetful and hot-headed. When around colleagues, she maintains a cool and calculated air, although sometimes her serious persona cracks, revealing glimmers of her sweeter, more awkward self, particularly during those moments when she realizes that she just said or did something that she probably shouldn't have done. She is outgoing, but by no means a social butterfly, and although she has a number of friends, she can be quite reserved and prefers to sit on her own and read a book than attend loud, raucous parties or go out for drinks. Romantically, she is pretty unsuccessful, although seeing as she cares little for those kind of relationships, and is fairly cold and distant with any or all of her possible 'suitors' she would never really consider herself as such. She is extremely passionate about her job, and tends to get overly enthusiastic when teaching, but her students usually find this humorous rather than weird. Or, at least, she hopes they do.

RELATIONSHIP WITH GODLY PARENT:
As far as most demigod-god relationships go, Claire and her father are pretty chummy. Chummy meaning that she's actually spoken to him more than two or three times in her life. In fact, Apollo seems to be quite fond of Claire, as he tends to visit her annually, on her birthday. And even if she doesn't see him, he always leaves a gift, usually a book
