2048... The Golden Age of the World... For years, the world has been at peace; no war, no conflict, no resentment. The reason for this? Androids. These robotic AIs are so incredibly realistic that it is almost impossible to tell they aren't human. The only thing that sets them apart from actual humans is their internal structure, and the fact that they have superhuman abilities. The world has become peaceful with Androids policing the streets of the world.

However, Androids can also be bought for personal use, and almost every family has at least one. Still, as human as Androids seem, they are still robots. They are unable to feel real emotion or pain. Some people make the mistake of thinking they are just like humans, only to have their hearts torn apart when they realize that they cannot reciprocate these feelings.

There are rumors floating around that ingenious inventors Tatsuya Hiro has created the first emotional Androids. The government is still not completely onboard in mass producing these Androids because they still have their superhuman capabilities and their emotions could make them unstable. So, four Androids have been put into the testing program, sent out to families that can care for the Androids. If all goes well, the Androids will be released to the public. If not, well... Let's not go there...

He is upbeat and very enthusiastic about the Project, but can also be frighteningly serious.
