Katherine was happy for the beginning of class until a girl starting through crumbled up paper at her. After the third one Katherine lost it and abruptly got up not caring about the commotion she could had made. She rushed over the girl and grabbed her by the shirt lifting her threatingly. "If you throw another paper at me you'll be picking up your teeth with broken fingers." Katherine let the girl down but was met with a harsh shove when she turned around. It was one of the jocks in class. "I think it's you that''l be the one hurting if you do that to her again. Got it freak?" The boy spoke menacingly to her but all she did was glare back. When she didn't answer him he lost his temper and shived her harder, this time making her fall back into a desk. "Damn." she spoke lowly and winced slightly though she tried to hide it.

Jace walked with her. "Well I have gym as well. How bout I walk you?" He smiled down at her as he walked with her. "I think gym class will be a bit more interesting having someone I actually know there." Every word he spoke to her was true.

Henry's first reaction to what was happening was to turn away and ignore, but he couldn't do that. Katherine didn't deserve this, she was too nice to deserve this.
Henry swallowed hard, stood, walked over to the jock and tapped his shoulder. The jock turned "What do you want, retard?" asked the jock nearly eye to eye with Henry yet much broader. "I... w-w-want y-y-yo-y... stop," said henry the last word coming out in a small choke.
"Sorry I couldn't understand you, must be a real bummer to be so stupid you can't speak properly," said the jock. "I-n-not s-s-s-tu-p-p-id," said Henry. The jock simply said"What?" with a grin on his face. Henry started breathing hard, he was starting to panic and did the one thing he could think of... punch the jock in the face. The hit wasn't particularly strong Henry was a lightweight, the jock turned to Henry slowly, on his face their was a mixture of surprise and anger. "Okay, now you're dead," he said. He grabbed Henry by his shirt and slammed his fist right into Henry's face.
Henry collapsed to the floor blood coming out of his nose. Henry also felt a little light headed.

Katherine gasped lightly as she saw Henry fall. She got up angrily before jamming her knee into the jock's side. "I think the only retard I sse here is you. You're little girlfriend got the hint not to mess with me and now you should get the hint to not mess with anyone else." The jock cried out in pain a bit before turning to her and growling a bit. "Shut up slut!" He yelled at her. Katherine glared daggers at him. "You're such an uneducated bafoon you don't deserve to be in high school let alone any school." She kneed him in the stomach making him topple over before kneeling on the ground. "He..." she had pointed at Henry before speaking again. "He is my friend. You mess with him again and I'll personally rip out your spinal cord and beat you with it you got it?" Katherine spoke venomously to him feeling slight satisfaction at the jock's scared expression. The jock nodded slowly before he stumbled back to his seat. Katherne went over to Henry. "We should get you to the nurse's office."

Henry thought Katherine was definitely something else. The way she handled the jock with so much confidence.
Henry accepted the offer to go to the nurses with Katherine, his head was starting to beat like a horse. He supported himself on Katherine who generously helped him. It was a little awkward though since Katherine was so much shorter then henry.
Henry looked down to Katherine and said "f-fri-end." with a smile on his face, although the smile was little distorted from the slight loss of feeling and the blood on his face.

Kather felt her face heat up a bit at the closeness of Henry but she helped him to the nurse's office either way but it was a tad difficult with the height difference. SHe was a bit surprised when she heard him say friend. "We're friends?" She was a bit shocked that someone had actually thought of her as a friend but was still happy by it none the less. She's never been called a friend by someone and now that she has it felt different but in a good way.

Henry shook his head slightly up and down to say yes. Katherine helped him to the nurses office. Henry lied down on the bed. It was only second period, but so much had happened. So much stuff was going through his head. Jock, bully, Katherine, detention. Mr. Soots, headache,...friend.
With all these thoughts very much alive in his head Henry fell asleep as the nurse came over and started cleaning up his face with a cold cloth. It was refreshing.

Katherine was still surprised that Henry considered her a friend. She had stayed a bit in the nurse's office with him just to make sure Henry was actually fine. Before leaving she left a note next to where he lied, 'I hope you feel better-Katherine' after writing the not she left the nurse's office as quiet as possible not wanting to disturb him or burden him when he awoke. To Katherine friendship was a new thing so she wasn't really sure how it worked.

Henry woke up during third period his head was still hurting, but the nurse had cleaned him up good. "I'm glad to see you're awake," said the nurse giving him a glass of water. "You should get a nice black eye from that," she said definitively. Henry replied with "Th-th-th-th-thank-y-y-y-ou" " You're welcome hun, now just lie down and I'll have you back to class by fourth period. Oh and one more thing That girl that came with you left a note she seemed worried about you" Henry read Katherine's 'I hope you feel better-Katherine' he smiled and put the paper in his pocket. Then lay down to rest some more.

Katherine had spent most of third period wondering if Henry was okay. When the bell had rung she had almost ran out the door and to the nurse's office to check on Henry. She saw the nurse there and immediately approached her not knowing if Henry was sleeping or not. "How is he?" she asked the nurse "He'll have a black eye but he'll be fine." she explained. Katherine breathed a sigh of relief knowing he'd be okay. She went over to where he was laying to see if he was still aake when she saw he was asleep for the moment she sat in a chair closeby. Her worries put to rest finally after seeing him okay.

A smiling Charlotte just shrugged when Jace offered to walk with her. She wasn't really sure how to respond to the since no one has really offered to walk any where with her. On the way to the gym a few people whispered, pointed at Charlotte and snickered about something. Holding her books tighter she and Jace entered the gym soon enough. This was where she looked around, stopping and hesitating. Most people were already dressed out in their gym clothes, and were already working on the day's activities. One glance over at Jace and she lead him over to the bleachers where she put down her books then grabbed her gym clothes and went off to change without really even saying anything about it. After several minutes of changing she came back out of the girl's locker room with a pair of shorts and a tank top on. Her arms were crossed over her chest to hide the few scars that she had.

The period was filled with many activities such as crunches, jumping jacks, push up's and how to serve a volley ball. Each gender was sent into their separate locker rooms to change their clothes a few minutes before the bell rang. This was where Charlotte locked herself in the bathroom and changed quickly. It wasn't until the bell rang when she quickly got out of the locker room and got her books. Her eyes scanned the area for Jace, wondering what his next period may be. A sigh escaped her lips as she saw one of her old friend's starting to approach her. That was the same girl who took her spot as cheer captain as soon as Charlotte stopped cheering. Crap, She thought as she thought of a way out of talking to the girl. As if not noticing her old best friend she steered away from the girl and started walking towards the door that lead to the hallway. Hopefully Jace would meet up with her before she disappeared into the hall way.

((OOC: Sorry I skipped a lot, but you guys were already at third period and I didn't know what to do since it might get confusing if Jace and Charlotte were still in second period while Henry and Katherine were in third period.))

Henry awoke opening his eyes he saw Katherine sitting beside him. "H-Hey" he said. He was happy to see her again. "T-Than-k y-you f-for the note" he said to her. Henry sat up in the bed then rose slowly to his feet. He didn't feel dizzy any more.
"W-W-Wan-na g-go e-eat lunch?" he asked Katherine.

((OOC: Glad to see you posting again hallowed, I was begining to think you'd left us.))

Jace had sat at the bleachers most of the time, ignoring the gym teacher's houndings for him to get up and be active. When the bell rung he was more than happy and waited for Charlotte out of the gym. He suddenly saw her walk out of the gym and start walking down the hall. He looked at her retreating form confusedly before quickly catching up. "Hey, Charlotte you alright?" he asked now walking beside her.

Katherine was happy to see Henry awake. "You're welcome. It was the least i could do." she stood up beside him and answered his question. "Sure if you don't mind eating with a freak." she said before opening the door and went out to the hall. SHe usually ate lunch alone so to have someone actually want to eat with her was a new thing to her.

((OOC: Glad you're back Hallowed and I'm glad this didn't die.))

Charlotte was walking down the hallway when Jace had finally caught up with her. Her eyes lifted from the floor by now and were on Jace, though, she made sure to look back and forth from where she was walking and at Jace. "Hey, Charlotte you alright?" He had asked her when he joined her. Her fingers picked at the side of her binder which was already starting to tear from the many times that she had picked at it. There was a moment of silence from her, then a shrug as she sighed softly. "It's a long story Jace." She responded over the crowd of people who had filled the hallways and were now making their way to their classes. Looking around the hallway she noticed that they were near her locker so she stopped in front of her locker and got out the books for her next class. The hand holding open her locker door gripped the door tightly as she got out one single small binder from her locker. With one flick of her wrist she slammed the locker door then turned towards Jace and turned her gaze up at him. By now the hallways were getting much less crowded because people were starting to get to their classes.

Desite the noises of the crowd of students trying to get to class Jace heard Charlotte loud and clear. He had stopped near her locker after seeing her get her things out. When she had closed it he walked a bit towards her. "I have time trust me. WHther it be now or later I'm here to listen if you wish to talk about it. She leaned against someone else's locker gazing at her, awaiting her response.

"You actually have the time to listen to me?" Charlotte asked of course she was surprised by this because Jace didn't seem like the person who would have to much free time to listen to some crazy girl who was often in way over her head. Shaking her head once she finally tried to think of how to explain all of this to Jace. Sighing softly she finally said, "How about I tell you later? After school when we have the free time." She offered, hoping that he would agree. "I mean unless you have something else that you were planning on doing after school." She noticed how he was leaning against someone else's locker so she just did the same. She waited for his response and dazed off a little which was a habit she had when she wasn't doing something like talking or learning.

Jace sighed but nodded at her suggestion. "We have detention anyway so then you can tell me. He smiled at her before speaking again. "So are we going to skip class or do you want me to walk you there?" He asked before another question came to mind. "What class do you have now?" Jace had hoped that they could have had the same class together or that she might skip with him but he wasn't going to pressure her into skipping if she didn't want to.

Henry looked at Katherine and simply said softly "Not F..." took a breath "freak, friend."
"D-do y-ou h-ha-ve a lun-lunch o-or b-buy one?" asked Henry. He himself always bought a lunch, but he was wondering if he would follow Katherine to her lock so she could get her lunch, or if they would just go buy their lunches.

Charlotte had almost forgotten that they had detention today. When he smiled she returned that smile with her own. Thinking about his offer on skipping class or allowing him to walk her there was something she didn't know how to answer. She had never skipped class and if she wasn't going to skip class then was he just going to skip class by himself? There was always that chance that he was going to skip class this period to do something else, but what did she know about him? Not much. "What class do you have now?" Jace had asked her. She hesitated then responded with, "I have Spanish." She shrugged then asked, "What class do you have now?" She was just trying to buy some time from having to class. Especially since she now all she wanted to do was to skip class.

Suddenly the Bell rang. Henry guessed that he had been out for longer than he'd first thought. "W-what C-Class do you h-have?" asked Henry to Katherine. Henry was hoping that he and her might have the next class together, but if not they would still be able to see each other in detention after school. He had Spanish next, which he was horrible in.

Katherine heard the bell signaling the quick end of the period but she didn't care. Katherine looked up to Henry when he directed a question at her. "I have spanish." she answered quickly. "What about you?" she looked up at him and started walking in the hallway towards her next class.

Jace looked over at Charlotte. "I have spanish as well." he answered after a moment. He had skipped class so much sometimes he forgot what his schedule was. "Shall we walk there?" he asked glancing over at her once again.

Henry smiled and said "Th-that's g-great I al-also have Span-spanish." Henry follwed along with her to their next class he had never realized how many classes he had with her. For once in a long time things were going pretty well for Henry.

Katherine was surprised they had actually shared more than one class but then again she never took account of students in her classes as she never had a reason to even so she was thankful for having him in some of her classes.

When Henry and Katherine got to class Henry sat at the back of the class since he had noticed that Katherine sat at the back of the class. He smiled at Katherine.
The spanish teacher came in, she was slightly aged and you could tell she was foreign. No one had really ever asked her before where she was from, on account of her being a bitter woman. Most thought she was from Spain, but some thought maybe it was one or both of her parents who was foreign. Which ever it was she taught Spanish and made it slightly miserable.
The second bell hadn't rung yet, but it was about. Students were pouring into the class sitting down, passing notes, telling jokes the usual. It was a regular day for them, but not for Henry because today he had a friend.

Sweat was pouring down Ky Narukami’s face during his Chemistry lab.

“Remember! Hydrochloric acid is a very strong acid! Therefore, it will completely dissociate in water, meaning that it’s proton will fall off faster than your guy’s teenage love!”

The TA laughed at his own joke. No one else laughed. Either because it was an awful joke, or because the other students were too busy concentrating on their experiment. For Ky, it was the latter. Between titrating sodium hydroxide into his own hydrochloric acid and wiping the sweat from his brow, he didn’t pay attention to everything else.

Well, not everything...

Despite having his hands full, Ky did manage to catch a glimpse of one his peers attempting to carry a beaker full of concentrated hydrochloric acid back to her station. She was obviously struggling, because her eyes and focus were locked on the beaker.

I hope she doesn’t drop that beaker. If any of that hydrochloric acid gets on her skin, it will begin to corrode.

Ky’s brow furrowed as he started worrying about the girl. This caused more of his sweat to fall down, almost into his solution he was titrating.

“Careful, Ky! If you contaminate our solution, we’ll have to start over again!

“Ah! Sorry sorry!” Ky quickly apologized to his lab partner. As he tried to return his focus to his own experiment, the girl carrying the beaker was slowly making her way past Ky toward her lab bench. Ky immediately placed his chemicals on his own bench, and started sprinting to her side.

Since the girl was too focused on the beaker, she failed to see that there was a lab chair directly in her path. Unfortunately, Ky wasn’t fast enough to stop her. Her eyes grew as wide as frisbees when her feet encountered the lab chair. Luckily, the beaker she was carrying didn’t spill on her. In fact, she simply threw it into the air.

Unluckily, the beaker was on a crash course towards Ky’s lab partner.

Without hesitation, Ky changed his own course to intercept the beaker. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to catch it, so instead, he tackled his partner out of the way, and allowed the beaker to shatter on Ky’s back, allowing it to release all its contents all over his body.

The whole lab’s gaze was focused on Ky, standing there covered in hydrochloric acid. Their stares was started to burn more than the acid on his skin. The TA finally broke the silence.

“Ky! Take your clothes off now and get your ass to the infirmary!”

Ky ignored the TA.

“Hey...Sorry for tackling you there. Let me help you up” Ky bent over and offered his hand. His partner was still dumbstruck and simply ogled Ky’s hand. Puzzled as to why he wasn’t accepting the offer, Ky noticed that his hands were bleeding, with a few shards of glass embedded in his skin. Wincing, Ky retracted his hand.

“Did you hear me Ky! Strip down and get to infirmary!” The TA at this point didn’t wait for Ky to respond, and instead forcibly grabbed and dragged Ky away towards the infirmary.

Before Ky left the room with the TA, he looked at his lab partner, smiled, and said “Looks like you have to do the experiment alone.”

To Charlotte it was an amazement to her how they had so many classes together, but didn't even know each all that well. Here he was offering to lead her off to the class that she probably despised the most except for well Physical Education. She shook her head, "Where do you usually go when you skip?" She asked curiously, "because honestly right now I am not in the mood to go to Spanish." She offered him a small smile before she glanced around the hallway. The hallways were now empty and most of the classroom doors were shut so it would be kind of hard for them to get caught unless a teacher decided to step out of class. She held her books tighter, pressing them harder against her chest as she looked at him.
