René ran into the kitchen. He would be the first one to get into that cereal box. He wanted that prize. He would have that prize. The glow-in-the-dark skull was his. He opened up the Cheerios and poured some into a bowl, then he dug for the prize. When he had his hand on the skull, he pulled it out and smirked. All his.

Now that the excitement was over, he milked the Cheerios and sat down for breakfast. It wasn't very often that he woke up before two in the afternoon, but when he did, it was serious. René looked to the walkway that led into the kitchen. It was odd when people weren't awake. In a house of psychos, that wasn't always a good thing.

Was Erik up yet?

Hand sliding down Ryan's side, Damien snuggled up to him and rested his cheek against his chest. From hopeless to a miracle, he still couldn't believe that they had both lived. He listened to his husband's heartbeat, obsessed with making sure it was still there. He nuzzled him lightly, dozing off yet again.

A heart that had been beating for years. He had been able to watch his children grow up, marry the love of his life, do all of that and more. His transplant had been successful, and the birth had been successful, scary, but successful. He had two wonderful twins. Running a hand through Damien's hair, he groaned and looked to the clock. Was it already morning? He was much to lazy to remove his husband off of him, let alone get up to take a morning shower.

Erik had wanted the prize as much as René, but when he saw his twin already had it, he smiled slightly. René could have it. He went over and hugged his twin. "Are dad and mom up?" He asked softly. It was rare for René to be up this early.

Damien looked up at Ryan as he was touched and heard the groan. "Good morning," he said in amusement. Why Ryan had a problem waking up, he would never guess, even if it was early. He might have slept a lot more than he did in high school, but how could one not when raising two brats? Maybe he was just a natural morning person, but seeing someone unhappy at the time was priceless. He silently hoped that he hadn't woken him up. Regardless, he kissed Ryan's cheek, making no move to get off of him.

René left the spoon in his mouth from a bite and put his hands on Erik's arms to return the hug, "mnminin" at him in a morning greeting attempt. He would share the toy, that was a given, but it was officially his. He shared everything with Erik; they were the same genetic material, through-and-through.

He shook his head at the question. As far as he knew, no one else was up. Removing the spoon from his mouth and placing it in the bowl, he rested his head back on his twin. "I haven't heard anything move for a while now."

"Morning," Ryan yawned, keeping his arms around Damien. To this day he still found it so hard to believe that he had been raising two kids with his husband. Never in a million years did he ever think that it would happen, but it did. Scooping his loves face into his hands, he placed a gentle kiss to Damien's lips. "How did you sleep?" He asked.

Erik chuckled and grinned at the garbled attempt at a morning greeting. "Good morning." He returned. He looked around slightly and listened closely for any sounds when René shook his head. He then shrugged and snuggled closer to his twin, their parents would be awake soon enough. He was almost always the first person awake in the house anyway.

As always, Damien metaphorically melted at Ryan's kiss. "I slept fine," he answered and kissed him again, simply enjoying that he had his Ryan to wake up to every day. Without him, and their kids, there was no reason to live at all, no reason to do anything of merit. Life would have been pointless and bland -- worth suicide.

René placed the toy in Erik's hand after a second of not-thinking about it. He knew that Erik would share with him, and what could they really do with it? Show it for decoration? There wasn't much to do with the little toy. It was all a prop. He held their cuddling for another moment before sitting up straight again. "I think you're slipping. You haven't been the first up this week." He wasn't going to remind him that the week was only two days in, but his teasing was all in play.
