Okay, so here is the deal. I want to make a nice and compelling introduction that will make you want to sign up, but at the same time I don't want to give anything about the role play away. I've notice most roleplays tell you whats going on in the intro and there never really is a true turning point or climax. When you read it you pretty much have decided what you will be doing and try to move your posts in that direction. Also, it allows for such things as Mary Sue-ing and the like. Plus, you always end up not being drawn in by anything because everything was already told to you at the beginning. So, I want to deviate from that a bit and try something new, but also something familiar (i.e. a roleplay set in a setting most know, but has been reinvented through a complete change of cast and direction). When the roleplay starts, it will be just like any other day in soul society. You can be a Captain, Lieutenant, whatever (You can't however be the Captain-Commander as its just a cheap character to be). You also don't have to reveal anything about your character you don't want to in your character sheet. Things like personality and looks are a given, but history, abilities, and zanpakuto can be your secret until you see fit to show them in the rp. Hell, you don't even have to say what you excel at until need be (though you can't be perfect at everything). One of the best parts about Bleach is you find out more and more about the characters abilities as the story moves forward, you just don't know everything from the beginning. Don't get me wrong, you can't have your bankai be a spiritual nuke that destroys the galaxy, but you get what I mean.

There will also be a NPC thread that will be added to as enemies reveal themselves. Sorry, but if the roleplay is going to be done this way, you can;t be a villain at the beginning. You can create one eventually, or even have your character turn on Soul Society. This roleplay isn't as much free-form as it is framed.

So, that's it. Oh, and there is one rule and one rule only; Don't be a tool. Easy, right? Despite how laid-back this may seem, the entire roleplay is riding on each roleplayer doing their part. So don't think you can get away with writing three to four lines and being done.
