Siras stood on top of one of the highest trees in the forest. His dark hair flew back against the cool touch of the wind, as his eyes narrowed upon the small town whose lamplight glowed off in the distance, over the borderline of the trees off in the distance. The tall moon hung behind him, shadowing him in it's giant light, making his figure appear dark to those who should see him from below or even those who dared to look up in the town from far off.
The town, who feared him. The town who despised him.
Rumor echoed within the walls of the town of the dark beast of the forest, the beast who once slept amung them. The beast who murdered his own father and mother as a child, then later his grandfather, with dark arts of witchcraft and demonictry. Was Siras the monster they spoke of? Or was something else slumbering deep within the Forest, searching, waiting for the Book of the Bane, the Book of Spirits, to reveal itself to the world so all could fall under dark and sorrow. The same sorrow that masked Siras's face, as he looked over the town in pain, the town who didn't know who he even was, nor his true name any longer.
