It is the year 2100 on the planet Earth. The Earth and humankind both have changed dramatically. Earth has been taken over by an alien species that call themselves 'Kairos'. They believe that they are here to 'enlighten' humankind about how civilization should be run.

The aliens invaded on December 21, 2012. Over 85% of Earth's population was wiped out by the start of 2013.

The remaining humans were divided into six 'districts' and were told exactly what to do, what to eat, what to dress, and even who to marry. Any opposition was met with death, live on television.

As new generations were born, the aliens genetically enhanced them. The new humans were immune to all disease, remarkably intelligent, athletic, and undeniably attractive. The new humans had clear skin, average height (5'5 for women and 5'9 for men), average weight (125 pounds for women, and 155 pounds for men), toned muscles, incredible endurance, strikingly colored eyes, and controllable personalities.

Children were allowed to live with their parents until their thirteenth birthday. It would be on that date that the new teenagers would be taken to a new location refereed to as 'The Castle On A Cloud'.

The human teenagers live in their own community. It is a 'castle' of sorts. It is not actually on a cloud, but the fog that surrounds the castle every morning would give the impression of that. In their castle there are few rules:
No killing
No stealing
No lying to an Educate (their teachers and supervisors)
No leaving the castle until you are 20

Students live a spoiled life from the time they turn thirteen until their twentieth birthday. They are given everything that they could ever desire. They are given all the clothes, food, and entertainment that they could desire. They live in their own spacious room that they may decorate as they please.

There is no supervision in the dorms, the female bodies are programmed(using some alien technology) to not conceive until they are over 20 years old. Therefore it is common for the students to fall in love over and over again.

The children don't have much schooling to deal with. At the age of 13 their future occupation and who they will marry when they turn twenty are revealed. Therefore the schooling is limited to only what is needed for said occupation. That usually means classes are held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1pm until 5pm and that is all. Some students have more, some have less.

The school is entering a new age. The aliens are planning on leaving within the next year. Leaving the humans to control their own world once again. These students are the future of the world. What will they end up doing?
