Okay, If you're too lazy to give a damn about what I said above, let's just get to the point: These days, it seems to be quite a popular occupation to have, bounty hunting I mean. Seriously, what other job can you handcuff people, Use dangerous weapons like magnums, high power explosives, battering rams, tasers, chainsaws, and the like? You can abuse your power and do what the wimpy cops call 'Police Brutality' in order to punish dangerous criminals, and give them what they deserve, legally getting away with various crimes of your own all in the name of pursuing your target. And you actually get paid for this.
Neat, Huh?
Bounty Hunters also get their own place to stay in where they can analyze data, get drunk, practice in the shooting range, and screw around. See, due to their methods being so effective, they're treated almost the same as the local police of the Tokyoronto Police Department. In a way, they're like the special forces unit of things. Their extreme tactics have taken out mafia members and operations, urban terrorism, street gangs, Bail Jumpers, Jaywalkers, child molesters, hippies, and other forces of evil.
Their methods can be violent, and bloody, or violent, but non-lethal. They can also be silent, stealthy, and extra violent.
-
Things seemed to be okay until shit started going down by way of science. Ah, science. What a wonderful thing! made television, guns, drugs, and other wonderful items we use in our everyday lives. Mutants began to run rampant. On the first three hours, it was fun, and freaking awesome. But then it became another staple of the Bounty Hunter's diet, hunting down monsters, human and mutant alike, whether it be the outer or inner aspects of the target. It really began to get messed up when there was suddenly a terrorist group against the government. Only the difficulty with stopping them was that they had ESP based abilities. Yes, psychic terrorists. Apparently these bastards want to take revenge on the government, even though it was an outside group that turned them into telekinetic spy murderers.
And so, the war on crime and Psionics begins…

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 7 authors
Setting

Amelia was surprised how hard he could hit. She was just barely holding on to being awake. Amelia needed Toni to save her. She hated having to rely on somebody else but in this case she had no choice. She sent out a mental cry to Toni, hoping that it would wake him. She tried to until she passed out cold.
Toni was started awake by a cry. He looked around and saw a faint outline that was Jack and Nina. He also saw a slumped figure that was Amelia. Toni knew that he had to to help her at all costs. He limped over there, he saw that Amelia was passed out and bleeding. "What have you done, Jack? Have you no shame, beating a woman? I thought hurting a woman was something that we never did. Why would you start now."
((Not my best, Though it was all I could pull out of my thick skull.))
Setting

He re-assumed his fighting stance, and stared Toni down. Brando however, being knocked out, didn't know what was going on. So he decided to play to this god fearing fool's feeble mind, adjusting his mental voice so he could speak to Toni.
"My child…" Began a strong voice, that pounded into Toni's skull. "The true enemy isn't the ones who possess powerful gifts. They are here to cleanse the corruption with you. See the truth, as your allies have reached the final point: they can no longer be entrusted with justice. They have harmed this innocent woman, and you must save her. Join them, and allow them to realize the truth of their power: I, the almighty have bestowed it upon them to bring right where there is wrong…"
"Tell me now." Demanded Jack. "What is 'God's' wish for this woman? Is he going to save a potential murderer? Do I have to raise these fists against you, or for your sake, should I put her in a cell and wait until our judicial system sorts her out?"
Setting

Toni grabbed Jacks throat with a quickness that would beat a snakes. His mission was to save the girl. No matter what. He started crushing Jacks throat with the strength of 20 men. He saw Jacks eyes start to bulge out of his skull. That's when he bashed Jack against the side of the building still holding on to him. He hit the building so hard it had a massive crack running down the side of it.

"You sure you're not Jesus?" Jack playfully taunted, not taking Toni seriously. "I've been waiting for you to catch up to my base level for a while, and I can see you've been putting some good time in for those guns of yours" He complimented, noting the size of Toni's arms in comparison to his own. He pulled his left arm back, gripping almost fruitlessly at Toni's wrist, and unleashing a knife hand chop onto Toni's bicep, followed by a kick to the other man's side, careful of Nina, as he stood next to the girl.
"Toni, C'mon. This is insane. Why would god tell you its okay for these three to attack weaponry?"
Brando sent another message. He mentally laughed at the sheer stupidity...
"The weapons had to be destroyed. Do you see the woman, or the soldier carrying arms? The soldier knew this well, and wanted to destroy the weapons. A Small step, but it was for peace…"

When Jack attacked him, Toni just shrugged it off. Had been paying attention, the bullet wouldn't have pierced his skin. "Jack, give up. You've lost there isn't anything that can break my Kung-Fu grip." He tighten his grip on the bounty hunter. He now slammed Jack into the ground causing a slight tremor.
(( You have no Idea, how good it felt to say Kung-Fu grip.))
Setting
0.00 INK
The pain seared through, and Jack felt the tremor well. But this was going too far, and it had to end. No more going easy on Toni.
"If you think crushing that gun is worth shit…" Began Jack, gaining a blue glow about him, an aura of power, "Then I'm afraid you haven't been training hard enough."
All too easily, Jack climbed to his feet, the effect of pain lessening, but the grip itself still stuck onto him like cement. He hopped into the air, flipping over toni to get behind him, the other man clenching tightly, as Jack used an elbow strike to the spinal chord, with the force of a wooly mammoth, using the combination of precision, power, and skill that martial arts had to offer, and inciting an internal electrocution of sorts known as a 'meridian shock' by striking one of the various points on the body. Damaging Toni on the internal level had to mean something...
Following the strike, he rammed a shoulder into Toni's back, the hand still gripped on him, which was what he was counting on, as he went for a submission attack: An Arm Lock! but, this was no ordinary arm lock, for Toni was to land on his stomach instead of his back, as per a regular arm lock. Instead, Jack would land on Toni's back, and start pulling on the arm, sure to break some bones.
Jack would originally have demanded that Toni let go, and he could keep his arm, but Toni seemed to have really lost it this time, and that meant killing was an option if all else failed.
"Nina!" Roared Jack. "Regardless if I'm able to break his arm or not, we're running for it! Is that clear?!"

I was thinking of this quote in particular:
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

Re: [OOC] Concrete Jungle
Shitty post is shitty. Meh, it's a post nonetheless.

Re: [OOC] Concrete Jungle
These bounty hunters are legally a form of law enforcement. Not a social club. Imagine if the actual police just started telling people where all their undercover officers and such were. In the middle of an important case…
If you want to fix the posts, you'd have to have Aixul edit hers too. And that'd take some serious collaboration. Instead, just clear out the posts, and start that meeting over if you want. He can still be nice, but he can't just be spilling details like that out loud in public. I understand that Kottori/Aaron are technically good guys, but the hunters don't know that yet.
Re: [OOC] Concrete Jungle
Re: [OOC] Concrete Jungle
1. Tomas helps Aaron out of the crowd.
- This, I see no problems with.
2. Tomas doesn't even question why there's a little cat person running around in public among dozens of human men and women.
- A bit off...
3. Aaron and Kotori claim to be there to help any bounty hunters and start asking questions about shipments, questioning a BOUNTY HUNTER if I may add… Now, as cool as it is that someone claims to be trying to help you, they're asking some heavy questions, and you don't know whether or not to fully trust them, seeing as you just met them on the streets.
- Uh…Wha?
4. Tomas is totally cool with opening up to a little cat person (one which he just ran into on the street) that may or may not have revealed it was being piloted by someone, almost like a spy drone, which has just asked about shipments and bounty hunters. I'm sure this isn't gonna lead to any important info being revealed out loud.
- wut
5. He outright spills the details that there WAS a shipment, but says its at the DOCKS where the important vehicles and such are stored for BOUNTY HUNTERS ONLY and even says there's private business going on there of some form. The warehouse he named, I'm assuming is the one the gang went to for the helicopter?
- …
I know it says on the profile that Kotori and Aaron are trying to help, but Tomas is OPENING UP TO A COMPLETE STRANGER. And not just about his shoe size. But from what I've read on the posts, is willingly letting her come into the docks, presumably where the team is, and all their shit, which is essential to CRIME-FIGHTING. Yes, these bounty hunters can be violent, and unstable. But the people they hunt are criminals. And I doubt those details are supposed to be given out like free freaking samples.
Giving that kind of major info away so carelessly just because someone appears nice is unsettling. very unsettling. I dunno about you, but if Tomas just walks in with a cat person on his shoulder, I doubt Jack or the others will just sit there and be like 'Oh Hai :D' No, they'd get shifty, maybe not pull all their guns right away, but they wouldn't just let this little dude they barely even know just walk in like a V.I.P.
I am SORRY. This day had its downs for me, and I just had to say this.
