You battle, you use and ancient tablet and become in sync with an ancient monster or creature that contains the creature's soul.

In this world in 2056, there are Colosseum's where the Beast's (Humans that can turn into creatures) battle for the entertainment of the crowds.

CREATURES

Monsters: a monster of any kind, a cyclops, blah blah dinosaur, etc.

Beasts: (beasts are human animal hybrids) The beasts have an animal form and follow you around as a pet when you aren't battling as them. eg if your beast form is a lycan like this the a dog/wolf would be you pet during the day that is the beast, the beast blends with your soul and that's what changes you into them.

Angels: Humans with wings, basicly just give you wings and super speed.

Demons: not alot of people use demons because they can turn on you and posses you, most demons are evil they can control fire and shadow.

That is all, all the creatures when used become part of you even when you are not them you can hear their thoughts, you are bound to them some what. The biggest connection is of a beast type with a human controller because they are the humans actual pet.
