It's dark. The grey surroundings are hazy as you regain conciousness, and you can make out two heeled boots stood before your eyes. The only sounds are the night winds flowing through.

You're mine now. Mine. We can't have you running off like the others, you see. Why don't just just stay riiight here and do as you're told.

The clicks of her heels against the tarmac echo. She strolls around you in circles like a descending bird of prey. Her voice is unfittingly classy and smooth with it's low, unsettling tones.

I need a new favourite toy. You'll do just fine. Anyone will, really. It was your fault for being in that alleyway all alone. I hope you understand that.

She chuckles gently.

Scared, are you? That's just an emotion. Those won't bother you any more as long as you're a good little doll. They always go through this phase. You know, still being human. They cling so hard onto their conciousness. I don't see the attraction, really...

Your head begins to clear slightly and you can make out some of the building you're lying in. Concrete. Cold. Souless. Abandoned. Desolate. Faded lines of paint cling to the floors to mark out spaces, and pillairs hold up the pipe-infested low roof.

YOU. Concentrate.

Is this a car park?

CONCENTRATE.

Your head is wrenched up by a cold metal block. A pistol...? But you are too dazed to react in an intimidated fashion. You shoot a glare up into the abyss.

I can see we're going to have some problems with you.

You are cursed. You're cursed by a witch. She's no old hag on a broomstick, though. She's a cold-hearted killer who knows Kirkcroft city, your home, like the back of her hand. She seems to have nothing better to do than to test the edges of the human mind; how far they must be pushed to become a simple slaves whose subconscious are like putty to mould in her hands. It's become like a sick hobby to collect these 'toys' who will slit the throat of an innocent man with the command simply uttered.

There are urban legends of witches scattered all over the place. And the story goes: There's been a witch here before. The group of cursed battled with their own minds, and used the very powers given to them to defeat their witch and drive a metal pole through her heart. They may even still be living among us today, but we'll never know. It's just a story after all... And to murder the woman with a monoply over your free will is no easy task.

Your curse is simple. Your goal is simple.

It may even be that one of your five senses are taken away. You may have a grotesque demonic feature sprouting from you. If you've slipped far enough into her grasp, it may even be that you have strength beyond any human being. But the more you give in to that voice in your head, the more you're hers.
And the only way to escape is to kill her.

OOC: Set in Kirkcroft City, modern Southern England. This roleplay first took place on the now dead Eddsworld forums and was a huge sucess. Originally not too well-written by myself, it's evolved quite a bit and has many chat rp characters attached- Even a city map. Have fun, make an awesome character, no godmoding and no powerplaying!
