Baam had been traveling without sleep for about 3 days, she hadn't even realized she was wary until she saw an Inn up ahead in the distance and it hit her. She sighed slightly and headed towards it, her mind wandering about in different directions. She made her way into the Inn and walked up to the Inn keepers desk. He turned and looked at her. "Name?" She looked up at him from in front of the desk, "Baam, i'm only going to be here for one night." Her tail flicked slightly as he gave her the key to the room she would be in. As she took the key from him, she could feel the presence of a Reaper nearby, automatically raising her awareness by 200 percent. She ignored it for the time being and went to her room to rest.

Middle of Fall: Sun Rise

Baam had been awake most of the night, her dreams haunting her, as they always did, thus her reasoning for not sleeping much. But as she saw the light of the sun coming up into the sky, she placed her silver ribbon back into her hair and stepped out of her room, taking her few things she carried with her, her sword placed on her back. She returned the key to the Inn keep and sighed slightly. For once, she had wished she had actually had more sleep than she actually had had that night.

-----

Raiden sat in his thrown because, of course, what powerful Lord didn't need a room for his favorite seat former furniture? He dug his nails into the arms of the chair, his patience already growing thin just from the few minutes he had been awake. "Those damn lazy little," the rest came out as a mumble under his breath. But before he could continue with his self aimed angry mumbling, he rose and practically stormed his way out of his thrown room and down the hallway where the three of his little workers slept, their rooms all across from one another's. He went along the hall and stopped between their doors, "wake up," he said slowly, though his tone rang of no such thing as playfulness or the like, just annoyance and anger, as it always did. He grew tired of having to wake them up in the mornings, their biological clocks needed to be worked on.

Soki had perched himself in a small Inn perched at a table near the fire in the den area, the hood of his cloak up masking his face from view, but the large sword resting across the table was a clear indication that he wasn't just any normal traveler. The sound of the door opening to the inn made him turn towards the sound, his eyes scanning the area near the front desk. A woman that seemed, vaguely familiar, he wasn't sure though; at this angle he couldn't get a good look at her face. He watched as she made her way upstairs with that he returned his gaze to the fire. He was traveling for only one reason, but that reason was his own.

The next morning was the same as the night he sat at the same table staring into the dying flames. Then the woman came back down, his head inclined to the front desk again, but this time he rose from his seat gripping the sword in his left hand, the sickly navy color of it made him stop and stare at it; he had forgot the fact that he was now a full-fledged reaper, his powers an indication of that as was his left arm now being just as demonic as his right. He slid the sword into it's place upon his back and walked slowly towards the woman slowly; he didn't want any trouble, but the fact she was familiar to him was enough to pique his curiosity. He stopped a few feet away and tilted his head. "I...know you.." He stated clearly, he did; she was very familiar to him. She was the female warrior that served the other lord in his past. "Baam....right?" He asked, his left arm resting in between the spikes on his forearm, and his right right before the elbow so they crossed over his chest. "I thought...you disappeared, what brings you around these parts again?" He asked curiously; he knew her but he wasn't sure if she'd remember him, there were only two things that were still the same about him, his eyes and the tattoo upon his back.

"Wake up," said the voice of Lord Raiden from beyond the door to Raos' room, well his room and the ones of Amaran and Axelle. As per the usual he was unhappy and annoyed, for some reason he expected them to be up the same time he was. A bit demanding seeing as he was usually up before even the rooster began to crow the dawn. Raos emerged from his room without a complaint after securing his armor and weapon in place. It seemed like he was the first one to come out to greet their lore. "Yes, mi lord." Raos poke as he bowed as is customary to ones sovereign. He wondered what today's orders would bring, lately all it seem to consist of was the destruction of towns.

---

Raphael was stuffing his face at the in after a mildly restful evening, gouging himself in such a way he was simply trying to get the most of an agreement made with the innkeeper for treatment of his son, a free room for the night and all he could eat wasn't a bad deal for an illness like that. While he was stuffing his face an interesting name arose in a conversation 'Baam'. Rumors abound concerning that name, The Legendary Reaper Hunter here of all places and whats more a reaper talking face to face with her. He began to listen more intently to their conversation while still eating to his hearts content, if nothing more this could escalate to the needs of his services.

Amaran flinched hearing that rough tone that sounded sweet but was sour. Truly sour. She rustled once before going still keeping her eyes trained on the wall closest to her bed as she listened to the others stir and awake on their own. She had been awake since long before in a sense that she hadn't really gone to sleep. Not until the darkest hours of the night did she finally drift away into sleep, only to awake once more at the first sign of dawn. She didn't move when the soft whisper of scales brushed by her arm and crawled over her chest to stop and raise to peer around. Hayane, her serpent. was peering out at where the lord stood probably assessing the situation. She took a breath and shifted to lean up in bed. "Hayane." She greeted the serpent quietly. He turned silvery gray eyes on her, almost a reflection of her own, that spoke of certain volumes of wisdom far past her own.

She dressed in her standard loose uniform happy that it gave her the mobility to fully make the most of her powers. She clicked two daggers into a sheath at either side of her waist and waited for Hayane to make his way up her body to rest on her shoulder. As she waited she looked into the mirror scanning her appearance. From the pointed ears coming to her pure white hair then to gray eyes that seemed distant, and down to the mark. She raised one hand to brush the colored skin that depicted a cross on her cheek. She was so absorbed into watching herself that she didn't notice that Hayane had settled himself on her shoulders. She glanced to the side tearing her gaze away from the mirror and herself and headed towards the hall where Raos was greeting their sovereign.

She stood a bit behind Raos before stepping forward and bowing at the waist, placing a dainty hand to her heart. "Lord. I'm sorry to make you wait so long. It is unfortunate." She murmured, her own voice sounding like the soft trickle of water over rocks. She rarely spoke but for now she figured perhaps it would sooth the tension in the air that she felt. She took a step back and remained silent, staying to the shadows of the corridor. No matter how much she knew these people it wouldn't sooth the fact that she was uncomfortable speaking to them. It wasn't a matter of like or dislike or even being shy but more a matter of clarity. She didn't know what their intentions were and if it was against her, then she wanted no part of it.

Katariel heard the lethally sweet voice of the Dark Lord ringing out in the hallway just passed her closed door and she opened one crystal blue eye first, peeking out into the empty room. Was it morning already?! she asked herself as she lazily slipped out of bed, walking across her room to her wardrobe and choosing the days outfit. Keeping it dark so that she would be well hidden if she had to use her shadow magic, she chose a short black jersey dress that fell halfway down her thigh so that she was still able to move quickly if needed. She added a pair of knee high boots, ran a brush through her hair and waltzed out of her room, looking over the two that had already gathered in front of their Lord.

Perhaps it was easiest to say that Katariel took more easily to this new lifestyle than the other two. Though none of them remembered their past before they came into their Lord’s service, the other two always seemed… Twitchy? Obedient? Shy? It was quite amusing to watch. Now Katariel, on the other hand, had always had some sliver of evil in her soul. Perhaps it came from being descended from a Shadow Dragon or perhaps she was just tainted by the Gods but she didn’t ever bat an eye when wreaking havoc or performing their daily duties of maiming, murdering, etc.

She decided to playfully tease the other two in her group as she stood right outside of her door, dipping into an extremely low curtsey from ages past, lowering herself to a point where her knees almost touched the ground.

β€œGood morning, your Lordship.” She said in a melodic, sultry tone before rising once more, clasping her hands behind her back as she waltzed over to stand beside the two others. β€œWhat would you have of us today?” Her bright blue eyes raised but did not quite meet the Dark Lord’s for in her culture it was a sign of disrespect to look someone in the eyes that was of higher rank. Instead, her gaze settled lower, on the man’s chin or nose, whichever caught her attention first.

Baam's ears twitched slightly in the direction of the Reaper she had sensed before, she had ignored it for the time being, as she did not choose to start a fight inside a building unless it was absolutely possible, nor did she like a lot of others to be around, for it made more room for people to make up weaknesses about her person. She had finished handing back her key, yet she remained unmoving and didn't look at the male as he spoke, until he said her name at least. She looked up at him, but didn't recognize him, though she didn't care to recognize him. He was a Reaper, one of them, and that was all she needed to know. Yet, she didn't recognize him. "Yes, it is Baam. But, i do not know of you," her eyes narrowed slightly as she continued to look up at him. She had never had an issue with her height, everyone she had ever met was taller than her, except for children of course, but even some of them were taller. She didn't mind it, good things come in small packages.

Her golden eyes scanned his face, trying to see if she really did know this male, something said she did, but it was just a very small annoying voice in the back of her head, and she chose to ignore it for the time being; if the voice was that small, then it wasn't important. She thought about his last statement, about her disappearing, it was true, she had stayed off the maps the best she could for many years now as she went about killing the damn Reapers that ruined her life; it made it easier to do so if less people knew where she was or that she were even still alive. She shook her head slightly, "if you know who i am, why do you so willing walk up to talk to me Reaper?" She was attempting to be as civilized as possible, considering where they were, but deep inside her...she just wanted to slit his filthy Reaper throat.

-----

Raiden watched as his three little worker bees came out for the day, first Raos, Amaran, then Katariel. He watched them as they greeted him, his eyes wandering from body to body slowly. He had noticed that, though none of them remembered what their lives had consisted of before hand, that one of them seemed to be more eager, for lack of a better word, to do his bidding, but that didn't matter, they would all be doing it anyways. He placed his hands behind his back, "finally awake, good, good." He held back a chuckle at something thy obviously missed that ran through his head. "I'm sure you all are looking forward to todays little task now aren't you," he asked more rhetorically than anything.

He moved closer to his little pawns and a grin grin on his snow toned face, "well then, we have a little town...well, you three have a little town to take out today. You see, they think that my leadership is wrong in every sense of the word. And since it is not in the least bit," he sent the three a slight glare, "they must be taken care of. Do it however you see fit, just make sure that all of them are dead. If you are alive, then come back, if you die...don't bring the body back, we don't need one of those lying around here now do we?" He took in a deep breath, his smirk only grinning on his face, "i will except you all back by mid day, if not, i'll assume the worst and i may even have to come after you all myself. I don't think you all want that."

Soki watched her, he had known of her hatred for his kind; and that didn't bother him. He had no real reason to fear her, they had encountered each other before on the battlefield and it was a stalemate then, but now he was sure he'd have the upper hand. He smiled laughing softly when she said she didn't know him. "Oh but you do Baam we fought before, and it was a stalemate, now I'm a full-fledged Reaper, I'm sorry but you won't have such an advantage now..." He said this in a calm tone, dropping the hood from his head. His once shorter silvery-white hair now falling past his shoulders, the black bangs tainted more then just his bangs now, but still it was unmistakable his hair was a sure indicator of who he was.

That as well as his mismatched eyes, the left golden the right blood red. "You still don't remember me?" He asked not giving her a chance to reply as he laughed softly. "I was the little girly-boy in the dresses who served Lady Odette.." He stated quietly to her, not wanting other's to know about his 'embarrassing' past. He waited for some indication that she remembered now, though if she decided to get violent he'd be ready for that too. His right arm clenching tightly, readying his soul striking talent if need be, he'd injury her just enough to keep her from trying to maim him. He didn't want to test her abilities now, it wouldn't be right to damage this place, or hurt any of the people in here; they had done nothing to anyone. He shifted uncomfortably, he could feel the hate literally rolling off her person, this made him very uncomfortable. It would be so for any reaper, but it wasn't as bad as it would be. He did want to know what she could do, but he wouldn't risk his health to find out; he was on a mission currently, and it was of more importance then testing an old rival.

Katariel looked practically giddy at the thought of destroying a town yet again. Unlike the other two, she didn’t hesitate at the thought of causing death and destruction so instead of asking any questions or quibbling about the task at hand, she gave another slight bow to the Raiden and waltzed right back into her room. From against the wall near her bed, she grabbed her ebony staff and from her bedside table she grabbed the small pouch that she always took on journeys with her, tying it to her belt. The dagger that she had strapped to her thigh was always there, morning noon and night, hidden beneath her skirt.

As she wandered back out into the hallway, she let her gaze trace over Raiden. Too bad the man didn’t appear to be even slightly interested in any of the three of them. He seemed just chaotic enough to be fun.

Standing there in the hallway with her slim fingers wrapped around the upper center of her staff, she arched her brows at the Dark Lord and asked, β€œWhere is this village then, Lord?” She was eager to get started.

Amaran listened to the order of the day and cast her gaze elsewhere unconcerned with the details of the mission. The only thing she needed to know was that she would have to kill, pillage, and come back ready for the next chore. Nothing else to it. She lightly shrugged one of her shoulders and turned back to her room to gather what she would need. First, she grabbed her reins because she was in no kind of hurry to get to the town. Finrek would do good enough having some exercise anyways. Next, she grabbed up her cloak that would hide her face seeing as she didn't want any unnecessary attention. Then last of all she grabbed her pole arm, Synt, and headed back towards the small group outside the room.

She inclined her head as Katariel spoke about location. Amaran figured that would be important enough to listen for so she halted and waited for an answer. Hayane shifted to turn his head towards the lord once more. She never really understood why but Hayane had never truly liked the lord although her serpent never seemed to express that for fear of getting Amaran in trouble. She let her hand raise to brush over the cold jaw of her serpent before letting it drop to her side loosely.

The other hand began getting her pole arm into a comfortable position in it's sheath on her back where it attached to the cloak. Once she got that done she turned fully towards the lord and let her gaze settle upon him with that distantly cold stare, like she wasn't really in the room. In some ways she wasn't although she didn't know why, she just felt normal as always.

The orders were clear they were to destroy the entire population as punishment for defying their lords rule. Though he did not particularly enjoy cutting down towns people, there was no challenge in it. Alas however he had to follow his lords order no matter how trivial it was. The others returned to their room to prepare themselves for the mission they were assigned. Raos too returned to his room to retrieve his weapon, a hulking oversized broadsword. Already wearing his armor anyways it was a short while before he left his room again. Katariel posed a very important question, where exactly was this little town. Their Lord hadn't even mentioned a direction let alone even the town name. He stopped as well to hear the directions.

----

Raphael already done with his meal continued to look at the two. The atmosphere was tense as the two conversed with each other, a killing intent almost oozing out of the Neko woman. He felt he should pay the inn master extra from lunch and a show, then again this wasn't much of a show just yet,

Baam scanned over the male as he pulled off his hood, the hair looked very familiar in a way, and when he told that he was the girly boy that served the opposing side, she smiled and couldn't help but laugh. "You are a Reaper now? I didn't notice you without you're pretty little dress on," her smile turned into a hard smirk. Even though she knew the male, she still didn't like him, nor did she want him near her, his Reaper stench was burning up her senses and she didn't like it. She let out a small sigh, "well, now that i know who you are, i'll leave; since i can't kill you in here," she said, obviously ignoring the comment about her not having an advantage this time, she was too drowned out in hatred for Reapers for her to really care about one would say about such a thing.

"Though," she paused and looked past to Raphael, she had had a feeling that he was listening in the entire time, "we have an ease dropper." She pushed past Soki rather hard, not caring for what his reaction would be to the act, her tail swaying slightly in interest as to why someone would want to listen in. She went and stood in front of him and tapped her claws along her sides, "so? Did you find that interesting?" She still had the want to go and kill Soki, though her curiosity had gotten the better of her for the moment being.

-----

Raiden looked at his three little pawns, "the town is Danzire, you will just head North, though, keep your eye out for any strange turning points, since Danzire is deeply hidden from the main paths." He scanned over them, they weren't too bad of choses of pawns, they were rather good at what they did, and because of this fact, he loved to send them out even more than keep them inside, though, he knew there were some risks behind said act. "Now then, you all run along," he chuckled, "don't make me come help," he reminded again and looked away from them and to the side at the wall, seeming to get stuck in an empty thought, though after a moment, his eyes went back to them, his head unmoving, watching them leave.

He growled at her when she mentioned his dress. His right arm beginning to emit a dark sickly navy aura as he watched her. Though her words hit him, and he growled now. "You couldn't kill me anyway little kitty" He stated his right hand unclenching. When she mentioned something about a ease dropper he turned watching her walk over to him, but not before she pushed into him hard. He growled watching her, once she stopped, he turned and followed his left hand reaching out to her swaying tail and grabbing it, giving it a sharp yank. "Watch who your pushing into kitty, kitty...I'll rip you a new one you do it again."

He was being serious, she was starting to piss him off, she maybe a famous reaper hunter, but he was a better reaper then any in existence, at least none he met and slaughtered even laid a hand on him. He crossed his arms, her question to the male ment little to him, as he watched this man closely. The fact she thought she could kill him, made him smile; a hidden smile to himself, he expected her to react to him tugging on her tail, but he'd be ready for that.
