Introduction

Disillusioned.
"We're surviving, but we're not living."

Reality hurts.

For some, the pain becomes unbearable and they lose themselves entirely.
Drugs become their enemy and their best friend.
They do questionable things to earn money.
Violence begins to come naturally.
Overnight stays in a jail cell become normal.
The world forgot them and they fell between the cracks.

This is the story of six of these people, all with their own reasons for being where they are now.

They've all met each other at one point or another, though it may have just been in passing. Some of them may have lengthy histories together, but all of them have something in common. They're broken and positive they can't be fixed.

Guy/Girl One

They were in love in high school. To the outside world, their relationship was perfect, but when the doors closed everything about them being together was toxic. He was abusive physically and she was verbally. She disappeared their senior year and he hasn't seen her since, but vowed to change his life around. She became a runaway, barely able to keep herself off the streets. Both of them sank into a depression. He became a drug addict. She became a prostitute and alcoholic. After quite a few years, a friend of his hires her at a party to please his guests. He barely recognizes her, but when he does...Well, who knows how that could end?

Guy/Girl Two

They were neighbors who never really knew each other, though their parents were close. One was an incredibly talented artist, the other was gifted musically. They both suffered from anxiety and depression. When she failed in the music business and began working as a waitress, barely making a living, she fell apart and attempted suicide. Without music, she felt like she was nothing. He, on the other hand, became very successful in the art world and began to lose himself completely in the world of drugs. He also attempted suicide. Funny enough, they both ended up in the same treatment center.

Guy/Girl Three

The summer before college, they were together. It was silly puppy love that was never meant to go as far as it did. She ended up pregnant, though she never told him, and at her abusive mothers request she aborted the baby. He found out months later and tried to contact her, but she was already long gone and her mother didn't know. She hadn't gone off to college like she had planned, but instead clung to the first guy she could find - an abusive man who passed her around to his friends. She fell victim to self harm and pill popping. Guy one, in a his grief over the abortion and lost love, became an alcoholic. As fate would have it, he would see her again at a club...to bad her new man is with her.

One. This is a mature role play with mature themes. Obviously, sex is not allowed, but there are drugs, cursing, self harm, and other things that will be mentioned throughout the role play. Please take note of that when asking to join.

Two. Reservations last 24 hours only.

Three. Respect the other role players.

Four. You don't have to use the face claim I've selected. Hell, you don't even have to ask to change it, just go for it. Just make sure to specify who it is by saying "Girl/Guy -Insert Number Here." Also, your characters histories/personalities can be whatever they want. You pretty much have free reign as long as you keep the basic details like how they met, what tore them apart, etc. Be sure to discuss it with whoever your 'partner' is.

Five. No anime photos. At all. Ever. Just no.

Once an Item has been created, it can be spawned in the IC using /spawn Item Name (case-sensitive, as usual) — this can be followed with /take Item Name to retrieve the item into the current character's inventory.

Mobs

Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!

Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
