It's fantasy, based on kind of like elementals, or beings that have power over certain elements, etc. There's four main factions: Wind, Fire, Ice/Water, and Earth Nation (non-discount Avatar). Long ago, the nations split into two. Earth and Fire grouped together against Wind and Water. The factions became sworn enemies, and have since not made trade to each other. The elementals are not allowed interaction with each other either, they are prohibited strictly by faction government. Other minor factions include the Metal Village, Blood Village, Wood Village, Sand Village, Lightning Village, and Gravity Village. These villages have little to no part in war and disagreements between the main four factions. (Now for the main plot.) The rp focuses on the two main characters, it's a Romeo and Juliet story-type. Love that cannot be, between two elementals on opposite factions who are not allowed to interact. They break these rules, and try to stay out of trouble, and not get caught. When a trouble-making blood villager catches the two though, things get hectic.
