Each house has a brother/sister house. Those are who the members typically associate with. Members from different houses tend to dislike one another, except for those who dare to make friendships outside of the houses. The Presidents (mostly Alpha's) definitely do not encourage this and are somewhat strict about hanging out with other members. Keep this in mind once the relationship thread is posted.

•The girls of Alpha Theta Pi are the top girls at Fulton. For all appearances they are prim and proper, but in reality they tend to be bitchy and backstabbing. They are charismatic, polite, and backstabbing. Guys flock to Alphas, but only the best of the best catch their attention and capture their hearts. Pledges are put through grueling sessions, but they still come back if they aren't cut from day one. Being an Alpha Theta Pi means being high maintenance in most cases, and the girls try to impress everyone.
•The guys of Beta Gamma Omega can be described as cocky, charming, and entitled. They're known for their money, charm, and looks. They definitely carry themselves with not only confidence, but the air that they are better than most. Girls all over campus tend to fall at their feet and they love the attention. They are the brother house to the Alphas and the two tend to mingle on multiple occasions.
•Most of the Thetas are known as the shy, sweet, caring, studious girls on campus. Their course work comes before all else. You may catch them at a party every once in a while, but they are by no means wild nor would they do anything to embarrass themselves or their sisters. They are ultimately known for their smarts and shockingly, their cleverness whenever needed. Being known as the nerds, the Thetas can be picked on by the other sororities like the Alphas, but being a member has its perks. They are the closest sorority on the house though and their sisterhoods last a lifetime.
•Kappas are ultimate nice guys on campus known for their smarts, charm, and demeanor. Kappa Alpha is known for having the highest GPA within the fraternities and across campus. Of course they've been deemed nerds along side their sister house, Theta Chi. They tend to get ridiculed and left out, but they make the best of it. They get along fabulously and love the Greek life.
•Zeta Nu Deltas are known for their party lifestyles. They tend not to care about what people think of them and throw outrageous parties. These girls are known for their risky behavior, carefree attitudes, and nightly partying. Being a Zeta means you have exclusive access to parties, the best memories, and a promise of never having a dull moment.
•The boys of Sigma Chi Delta are known as the bad boys, the ones that all girls love to hate. They're the guys that every girl thinks she can change. They are ultimately known for their mischief, parties, and drama they cause within the Greek System. The tend to break rules, have fun, and generally do what they want. They are the brother house of the Zeta Nu Deltas.
This story will start out with a group of Freshmen who haven't yet joined a house. We'll go through a rush week where the pledges visit each house and make their choices. They will receive bids from houses who have interests and such. There will be more detail when we get there!

1. I'm asking each person to take on TWO characters- male and female. OR because of the shortage on males, you may take on one MALE or two MALES.
2. Post on the OOC to reserve. Do NOT private message, please. After you're reservation is made, you have 24 hours to either get your character done or either message me for an extension.

Maya walked on the cement with her vintage shoes, that she may or may not have borrowed from her mother, making sounds on the cement. While walking toward her house, she passed the outdoor plaza with the smell of the Starbucks going into her nose. She would have loved the smell if she did wake up at 6 in the morning to serve it to people on campus. But, looking at it she saw the Alphas and the headhunter herself, Natalie Greyson. They never liked each other, she said that the sooner Maya got her ass deported the better. And, Maya may or may not have said she was an anorexic bitch when she was a freshmen but, she didn't mean to. It just slipped out. And she refused to apologize to the blonde haired witch for saying her opinion, this was America wasn't it?
From the look of it the Alphas seemed to be ganging up on Brandon and Sophie, for what? For talking to each other. She rolled her eyes and sighed. "Hypocrites." She said in her head. There they were acting on Sophie when they knew damn well that they all flirted with the Sigmas, she even heard that a few of them slept with Sigmas even when Natalie had that rule for them enforced. She would talk, well argue about that with Natalie soon enough. It was only a matter of time before Maya let Natalie know how big of a hypocrite she was. Maya walked past them without a word and continued to walk towards her house.
When she got to the house, she looked at the Theta symbol that was on the royal purple door. She used her key that was stanched somewhere in her purse. She opened the door and walked into the living room to see her two friends, Belle, and her best friend, Ama. She smiled at the two before taking a seat and looking at Ama. "So, what's going on?"
She looked at Brandon as he spoke to her, "Well, I was just passing by and as it where you were with friends." She shrugged. Whether Annie and Sophie were friend or not was... questionable. Sophie may have been new to America but she lived with backstabbing bitches all her life and in Korea, they didn't do it up front they were sneaky. And, Annie? Was absolutely a backstabbing bitch in her eyes seeing that she was in Alpha. the way she knew that is because, it took one to know one. "I am doing well, now." She smirked as he slipped a finger into her hair and moved it behind her ear. "Well that's good to know." She said softly as he did.
"There will be a party tonight and my father's club. Perhaps you could accompany me? Your friends are all invited as well." She nodded and smiled before seeing him look at Annie. She rolled her eyes as he saw his gaze go back to the short 5'6 Korean girl. "So, Will you join me? Or Will Natalie not approve?" She sighed. Of course Natalie wouldn't approve of him or Sophie going with him. "Well--" Was all she had the chance to say before hearing Natalie's voice interrupt her. "No, Natalie wouldn't approve, Brandon," "Oh shit" She looked at Natalie before biting her lip a bit. "Sophie, don't you have somewhere else you should be, rather than hanging out with this low-life?" She sighed knowing what she had to do. "I mean, yes of course but it's not like we're going to--" She said before having Karma interrupt her as well. "Really. You have to be careful around stray Dogs." She looked at Karma and then gave Annie a deadly glare, if looks could kill. She would be six feet under.
If she wanted to start something fine, but don't think Sophie wasn't going to call her out on flirting with every Sigma guy known all over campus like Bradley, Antonio, and even Sophie's own damn brother! Oh, if Annie thought so smart, wait until she saw Sophie actually put her 4.4 GPA to good use. She didn't even hear what Karma said after because her eyes were fixed on the little snitch of the Alphas. When Brandon started talking she looked at him as he spoke to Natalie. "I was just inviting Ae-Jin to a party this evening. I just told her how all of you were invited as well. I meant no real harm. It is the beginning of the new school year, Why not start it off with a bang?" When he touched Natalie's cheek, she raised an eyebrow. He must be an idiot to touch the ice queen herself. "So Will you be attending? I'm not asking to sleep with you or Ae-Jin. Just a simple invitation to Celebrate of the start of the New Year. I may even invite some Rushers." Was that going to get Sophie out of hot water? No, not at all but at least he tried. "Look, Natalie. We were not doing anything. We were just talking." She said to the blonde haired girl.
After getting his coffee and seeing his sister walk over to his friend, Brandon. Edric rolled his eyes and walked away right as he could see Natalie walking with Karma. He offered the two a wink right as they walked past the tall 5'11 Asian man. He knew something was going to happen. Little did he know that it had something to do with his sister. If he knew that his sister was in hot water, he would have went after and charmed her out of it. But, he didn't so he walked towards the Sigma house. He had his key on a necklace that was painted orange and black, thanks to his younger seven year old sister, Misung. But, at least he knew it was his when he saw it. He opened the door and looked in the living room seeing a girl sleeping on the couch, he knew exactly who it was. One because there was on girl dumb enough to sleep on the Sigma's couch and two, he could see the red lipstick peeking through her mess of brunette hair.
He kicked the couch with his new sneakers as he heard the girl groan. "Imogen... Imo. Wake up." He said to the British girl who just turned her face away from Edric and pulled the blanket over her head. Imogen was easily on of the Sigmas favorite girls on campus. If she wasn't a girl, she would be in Sigma. "Go away, Ed." Was all she said before going back to sleep. "Imo wake up, get out of your clothes, and then meet us in the auditorium. Alright? He said to her with a raised eyebrow seeing her groan and nod. "Fine, just get the hell out of my face. And, tell Bradley to never touch my drinks again." Imogen said as she got up and fixed her hair and rubbed her eyes.
"Alright. Now shoo. Out you naughty little Brit." He said before chuckling and seeing the girl turn around. [i]"I hooked up with one of the Sigmas, would you happen to know who it was?" She asked him with a smile on her face. He shook his head and shrugged. "Nope, sorry." Edric said to her before seeing her roll her eyes and walk out to door. He chuckled before waling up the stairs near the bedrooms. "Tony, sleeping beauty? Are you up yet?" He said with a sly smirk on his face as he leaned on Tony's door.
After waking up to the sound of Edric, Imogen walked out of the Sigma house and squinted her eyes as she walked out of the house and towards the Zeta house. She looked in her purse to slip on her black Ray-Bans to actually be able to see. She had a pounding headache from a drink that she took from her close friend, who was more like her brother, Bradley. They always just had to make a idiotic bet. And, this one was no better. She lost and had to take a drink. After taking that, she just was sort of out of it. all she can recall is sleeping with one of the Sigma guys, walking out, and just falling asleep on their couch.
When she got to the Zeta house, music was blasting already and girls were already up and ready for the day, and drinking but what else was new for them? Imogen walked up the stairs to her large room and tossed he sunglasses on her messy bed. She walked to her sliding closet and looking for an outfit to where for the day. She grabbed a pair of shorts and one of her new shirts. And, of course a pair of her signature combat boots. Imogen walked over to the bathroom and put her outfit on the sink before turning the hot water on a stepping in to wash herself off. She sighed as she began to feel refreshed from the night before. After about ten minutes of showering, she stopped the water and grabbed one of her neon blue towels and dried herself off before slipping her undergarments and shorts. Walking out of the bathroom, she sat on her bed and slipped her boots on. Standing up, Imo looked herself up and down in the mirror and smirked. "Perfect. She said to herself before changing at her small cheetah plugs to a pair with a white cross in the middle.
She walked out of her room and back down the stairs. She looked around at the girls as a few began to exit the house while others were doing there own things. She walked out of the Zeta house and decided she would have to face the students sooner or later, another ear of being called a slut and a whore by girls who wished they were as confident as Imogen was. But, she didn't care. She had tough skin and decided if girls didn't want to be friends then she would find guys like the Sigmas. She walked towards the auditorium not paying the Alphas any attention there wasn't a single one of them that didn't piss her off. They all hooked up with a Sigma and were trying to act like they never did. But, all the Sigmas were like her brothers, and she knew how to get shit out of them. She walked into the auditorium and saw Bradley. With a smirk she flicked him off and blew him a friendly kiss. She sat near some of the other Zetas and just started to take about her newest tattoo.
Annie bit her lip while she stood with Natalie and Karma as they started to grill Sophie. Natalie wen first saying "Sophie, don't you have somewhere else you should be, rather than hanging out with this low-life?"
Annie winced a little at Natalie's question even though it wasn't directed at her. She winked at Mario as she heard Karma say "Really. You have to be careful around stray Dogs." and even she raised an eyebrow at that since Karma was usually the sympathetic one. But since Karma knew Brandon was Annie's first, she was probably pissed.
Annie tilted her had to the side innocently and lowered her thick eyeliner coated eyelids making her usually sharp and almost unsettlingly pale green eyes look sympathetic. "Sophie were just looking out for you," She said with a small smile. She perched herself on the arm of Mario's chair and smiled brightly "Because we're your sisters." She said knowing Sophie wouldn't call her out. Not because she didn't have the balls to. But because she would be making a scene in a crowded place, in front of Natalie and Karma, and because Natalie would obviously take Annie, her little sister and future president's, side. And Annie was closer to Karma than Sophie anyway. Honestly Sophie couldn't touch her, al least not here.
She felt her phone buzz and took it out her bag and glanced at it. She bit her lip to avoid smiling as Tony's name popped up on her screen

She raised an eyebrow at the message. It was so simple yet it held so much meaning. She licked her lips which tasted like strawberry's. She suddenly was glad that she put on a really cute bra and underwear set today. She played with her necklace and, after consideration sent her message.

"My my my. Hell hath no fury," Brandon commented, his eyes drifting over Natalie and stopping behind her where the other Alpha’s were approaching.
"I mean, yes of course but it's not like we're going to--" Sophie attempted to protest, but she was cut off.
Karma had fallen obediently into position behind Natalie, much to her approval. "Really. You have to be careful around stray Dogs. Did you know that dogs are more manageable when they're fixed? Snip snip." The young Asian girl interrupted, making a cutting motion and Natalie smirked coldly.
The blonde felt a light, friendly brush on her cheek as her younger sister gave her an air kiss, indicating Annie’s arrival too. Then, she positioned herself just behind Natalie in the perfect formation. Annie really was the ideal Alpha.
"I guess the gang's all here." Karma pointed out offhandedly.
"You wound me, love. Surely, you wouldn't deny you girls a good time," Brandon said dramatically. "I was just inviting Ae-Jin to a party this evening. I just told her how all of you were invited as well."
Brandon touched Natalie’s cheek. He’s got some fucking nerve, Natalie thought to herself, anger bubbling in her veins. If she hadn’t been in a public place and an Alpha, expected to exercise perfect decorum at all times, she would’ve slapped him. How dare he touch her without her permission?!
“Get that off me!” Natalie snapped, reaching to wrench Brandon’s hand from her face, but he moved quickly. “I don’t even want to think about where it’s been…”
"I meant no real harm. It is the beginning of the new school year. Why not start it off with a bang?" He turned to Karma, commenting on her dog threat, "You are familiar with the concept to which you named, yes? Perhaps you keep that in mind." He looked back at Natalie. "So, will you be attending? I'm not asking to sleep with you or Ae-Jin. Just a simple invitation to celebrate of the start of the New Year. I may even invite some Rushers."
Natalie looked at him for a couple of seconds, allowing the tension to linger in the silence. She wanted him to be afraid of her.
"Look, Natalie. We were not doing anything. We were just talking," Sophie said, breaking through Natalie’s silence.
Natalie glared at Sophie. "Sophie, we were just looking out for you. Because we're your sisters.” Annie told her sweetly.
Natalie gave Annie a sugary smile, then turned back to Sophie. The saccharine sweet smile remained on her lips, but the sparkle that had been in her eyes when she looked at Annie, that sparkle that marked the smile as genuine, died. “Exactly. I wouldn’t want you humiliating yourself, and not to mention, us, by accidentally falling into bed with this… Ugh.” Natalie shuddered dramatically. “We all know how little self-control you have when it comes to your… Personal life, Sophie. I’m simply protecting you.”
There were so many little digs and personal attacks hidden within Natalie’s words that she knew Sophie would pick up on. Yet she wouldn’t dare say anything back. Natalie’s face was icy cold; her expression said it all. Anyone who attempted to challenge Natalie right now would be made to wish they’d never even been born.
“Brandon…” Natalie turned her attention back to the boy. In truth… She did want to go to the party. Natalie loved to party, despite how she berated the other Alpha’s for any show of wild behaviour. And after the stress of today, she was going to need the alcohol and the easy pleasure of being complimented, flirting and eventually sleeping with some guy who she would regret the next morning. Besides, she had to hand it to the boy, Brandon threw good parties. Due to Natalie’s obsession over control, she had to know everything about everyone, and so she was aware Brandon’s father owned plenty of clubs in the area. So, he could have an expensive party with great entertainment and fantastic drinks organised at the drop of a hat. But, she couldn’t show weakness after her short tirade by accepting his invite. “…Throw your party. But don’t expect it to be our first priority.”
Of course, Natalie had every intention of going. But no one else knew that, and she was planning on keeping it that way. She had to maintain the façade that she couldn’t care a less about his party and he should be kissing her heels in thanks at the fact that she even bothered showed up.
“Come on, Sophie. We have better places to be.” Natalie glared at the Asian girl, beckoning her with a slight flutter of her pretty little fingers.
With that, Natalie began walking towards the auditorium. She didn’t look back to check the other girls were following her, she just expected them to. And any who didn’t obediently follow their leader wouldn’t even want to consider the trouble they’d be in.
Out of the corner of his eye, Bradley saw Imogen arrive, looking slightly worse for wear. At the sight of her, memories from the night before flooded back to Bradley. He would have to go over and tease her. The moment would be too priceless to pass up. She smirked at him, blowing him a friendly kiss.
As Jane left, Finn turned towards Bradley. "How do you- I mean-"
"Talent," Bradley told him simply. "Give me a minute," Bradley said quickly, leaving Finn and crossing the auditorium to where Imogen sat with some of her Zeta friends.
"How's the head, Imo? After that drink I made you..." Bradley chuckled at her, giving her a cheeky grin.
The drink had been an interesting mixture, to say the least. Bradley couldn't quite recall precisely what was in it and what bet she'd lost to end up drinking the concoction, but he didn't remember any of it being particularly pleasant for her. But for him, that had been another story. Bradley recalled finding the whole experience hilarious, although that had probably just been the alcohol. The events following the drink had also been quite funny. For starters, Bradley had been pretty impressed she'd actually kept the drink down. She then proceeded to spend most of the night stumbling round in a drunken daze before tumbling into the bed of a Sigma. Although neither of them remembered the finer details of the night.
He paused for a second, but spoke again before she could answer him. "Actually... How's the foot, after the tattoo you had to get when you lost a bet to me? And how's was going pantieless for the whole summer as a result of the bet you lost, again. And come to think of it, you really do smell, after not being allowed to wear deodorant for a week after, oh yes, another bet you lost to me?" Bradley teased. "You know, considering your track record, you might just want to end it now and admit you will never ever beat me," he told her smugly, a smirk playing on his lips.

Thankfully, it didn't take long for Jane to get to Starbucks. As she made her way closer to it, she noticed a familiar group of people standing by it. There was Sophie, someone who Jane wished she get along with but the foreign girl just didn't seem to like her. Not that it surprised Jane, not many people did anyway. Besides her was Brandon, a classic Sigma that Jane only knew by his looks. In front of them stood Karma, the sweet girl who Jane absolutely adored, and Annie, a gorgeous girl who was on her way to being the best of the best. Speaking of the best, in front of them stood Natalie, the unreachable woman who stood above everyone. By the looks of it, the situation they were in was tense. Knowing she shouldn't pry, Jane kept her nose down and made a bee line for the entrance of Starbucks. She had to hurry up and not keep Amaranta waiting.
Not paying attention to the people around her, Jane went directly to the cashier. Her hands took out her phone to double check what Amaranta's order had been before reading it aloud. After responding to the surprising text message, Tony glanced back at the clock. He had honestly considering not going to the stupid thing. He ran a hand through his messy hair, once again attempting to try calm it down. It was then that he heard a familiar voice call out his name and his eyes glanced over to his doorway. It seemed his little brother decided to come back for him after all.
"Tony, sleeping beauty? Are you up yet?" he questioned with a smirk on his face. Tony would've grinned, he really would've if it hadn't been for the fact that his headache was trying to destroy him. His hand began to rub his face in a futile attempt to calm the pain.
"You're finally acknowledging my good looks, Ed?" he teased, his voice lower than usual just so he couldn't worsen his state. It was a habit of Tony to tease the people he mostly cared about. It was that or he just really loved seeing Edric's reactions. "Yes, I'm up, man. And don't so loud, some of us haven't recovered from last night," Tony chuckled just as his phone buzzed again. He quickly went to check the message and his lips twitched upwards when he read Annie's response. No, he was definitely going to the auditorium.

Imogen rubbed her eyes as one of the Zetas told her about last night and how it was one of those night that someone had to catch on tape just to show Imo that next day. They told her how she mostly stumbled around most of the night yet still could dance and drink even more vodka. To be honest, if Bradley and her ever had a vodka contest, she could actually beat him no problem. Shaking her head, she let a chuckle. "Oh my fucking God." Was all she had on her mind, which was rather calm even after a hangover. She, unlike the Sigmas could drink all she wanted and still be fine in the morning. How's the head, Imo? After that drink I made you..." She smirked as she saw Bradley and flicked him off with her right hand. She just gave him an annoyed look and sighed. God, she loved Bradley. He was like her twin brother.
They were exacting the same since they met their freshmen year. She still remembered their first dare to each other. One she actually won, before he learned her tricks. She opened her mouth before hearing him start talking to her again, teasing her. "Actually... How's the foot, after the tattoo you had to get when you lost a bet to me? She looked at him with smirk and just watched him in fake sarcasm while he named off all the times he beat her in bets. You know, She interjected "No, what do I know?" She said before he continued. "Considering your track record, you might just want to end it now and admit you will never ever beat me," She scoffed as she let out a laugh as well.
"Keep dreaming, Bradley. You have a better chance of banging Maya and Ama... come to think of it, you have a better chance of sleeping with me before I before I say that big pile of bull." She said as she patted his shoulder. "But I love that you dream big, little brother." If all else failed she could always mess with him about that, his age. Seeing that he was a year younger than her, she teased him about that. She patted his head with a sly smile on her face, Bradley was the one guy in Sigma who was at least a junior that she never kissed, slept with, or even thought about in that way. It was just to weird to her, to both of them seeing that they thought of each other as sibling. Just the thought made her shutter. Looking at him, she saw the smug look on his face which made her roll her eyes. "Wipe that smug look off your face, or that pretty face of yours won't be so pretty anymore." Imogen told her close friend while raising her eyebrows and hearing the other Zetas chuckle at the two of them.
"Sophie, we were just looking out for you. Because we're your sisters.” This made Sophie look back at Annie with the same narrow eye look as before. Wow, she really wanted Brandon that bad that she would throw one of her "friends" under the damn bus?! Then she could have him, she had her eyes on Bradley anyway, she would say Antonio but her brother was too close to him for Sophie to even think about ruining their friendship. What? She had a heart when it came to her twin brother. As much as he wanted to either hit her or take a low blow, it wasn't her place. Her close friends weren't in the Alphas they were scattered, Maya in Theta and most of the boys in Sigma were close enough to her without her brother that she called them friends of hers.
When Natalie looked back at Sophie after looking at her ass kisser, the sincere smile was gone. Only an icy cold glare hidden behind a fake smile. “Exactly. I wouldn’t want you humiliating yourself, and not to mention, us, by accidentally falling into bed with this… Ugh.We all know how little self-control you have when it comes to your… Personal life, Sophie. I’m simply protecting you." She slightly felt her mouth drop and she wanted to object, but she couldn't. She just was being forced to bite her tongue like always. Something she wasn't fond of but something she had to do. She even questioned if being in Alpha was worth it, coming to America just to make her way back to the bottom. Then it came to her, of course it was. She popular whether or not. It made it worth it to her even if some of her friends didn't see why exactly she stayed with them.
When Natalie turned around, she wanted to explain to Brandon that she wasn't loose like Natalie said she was but, then she heard the blonde president call her name. “Come on, Sophie. We have better places to be.” She nodded towards Natalie before looking at Brandon and shrugging. She whispered in his ear. "Sorry." Before heading with Natalie towards the auditorium. She didn't know what to say to her, she knew no matter what she said it wouldn't help. Annie just had to throw the Korean girl in front of the bus.

Brandon just shook his head as Natalie baraided him with her comments. His eyes fell on Annie. Anyone with any sense knew she called in the cavalry but why? Was she so hopelessly jealous of Ae-Jin that she'd ruin her chances at fun. Surely it wasn't him. He was handsome and charming and charismatic....Wait what was his point again? He just sighed. "Well, the offer still stands, should it move up your priority list." He said with a grin as Natalie and her skank squad departed. He caught the look from Ae-Jin and suddenly her perfect lips were at his ear. She whispered Sorry and scurried off. Heblew her a quick kiss and turned back to find Bradely. They had a party to plan. He pulled out his phone and text him again.
He slipped his phone back in his jacket pocket just then he felt someone run smack into him.
Macintosh Clark
Macintosh woke up late...again. He had to get to class quickly lest he have to sing back up again. God. he hated that. He showered quickly and dressed in a loose graphic tee, jeans and a grey beanie on his head. He pulled his dreadlocks in to a low and loose ponytail today not really sure what else to do with it. He grabbed his guitar case with held Zero. His trusty acoustic guitar and slung it over his shoulder. He'd been working on some sheet music for a song he was composing and he really wanted to see if he'd be able to perform it, or atleast the half that was done. "Ugh, Where is it?" He groaned as he shifted through the large pile of papers that he called a desk. "No." He said as he threw the papers away. 'No, No, No! Dammit. Man, You have got to invest in a filing cabinet." He said to himself as he gave up on the desk and then it struck him. "Heh heh. Oops. I remember now." He said and palmed his forehead. It was in his guitar case. so he wouldn't lose it.
Oh the irony...
He high tailed it toward the theather. Only to run smack into Brandon Duett. Mac ended up on his back. "Sorry dude." He said sheepishly. Brandon scrunched up his nose. "The term 'Rushing' isn't meant to be taken literally." he said and walked off. Mac huffed. "The term Rushing isn't meant to be taken literally..." He mocked him under his breath and headed toward the theater. Brandon Duett of all people. Great...

"Talent. Give me a minute," Bradley tells Finn before heading off through the auditorium towards a face which Finn recognizes but does not have any acquaintance with: Imogen. His eyes don't linger on the pair very long, as he awkwardly crosses his arms and looks out towards the stage, wondering when this stupid assembly is going to actually begin. So far it is primarily composed of people who are kind of catching up, though they've already had around a week to do so. Of course, Finn can't actually find any other Kappa boys, and this leaves him to continue standing alone, lost in his own thoughts. Alright, after this I have a choreography class with Miss Louisa, and then I can break before lunch before heading to Dance Theory III. At least I finished all my basic credits last year, so all I have is dance for the next two- that'll make life a lot more enjoyable, he thinks sincerely, glancing around the auditorium once more, eyes landing on random faces. The computer screen of a girl with headphones on who appears to be messing with some sort of musical software, a just-entering boy with dreadlocks, and then. . . Finn sighs very softly as a gaggle of Alpha girls, the tops of the Alpha ladder in fact, enter the auditorium, looking half in a mood and half just. . .them. The young man honestly tries his hardest not to judge people on their house -one of his close friends is a Beta, after all- but it is hard to do so when girls like Natalie and Annie represent the house. Though he would never dream of being rude or anything less than chivalrous to a girl, he does find it difficult to be his normal, gentlemanly self when girls are as shallow and arrogant as they appear to be. Stop stereotyping, he tries to remind himself, but to be fair, there is evidence that points to the self-centered nature of these girls. Sure, some of them didn't seem too bad- Karma had once come up to him and pinched his cheeks, calling him a cutiepie, but the majority did appear to have constant ulterior motives.
If he weren't a dancer, perhaps at that moment Finn would have slouched his posture to become less noticeable. However, it is nearly physically impossible for him to do such a thing after years of dedication and still be comfortable. So he remains leaning against the wall, a solitary figure in the auditorium as everyone he had been talking to has left by now. Maybe I should meet some freshmen? There may be possible future-Kappas, it would be good to know them? He decides, partially remembering his own rush week. It wasn't too bad, since he went with Kappa almost immediately and their initiation isn't as harsh as he's heard Beta and Sigma's are, but it had still been a slight culture shock. Or I could text Allen or Mario- but Mario should be somewhere around Annie, yeah? I don't get why he stands her- Shit. Judging again. I need to stop that.
As the amount of people flooding into the auditorium increased, Delilah had slipped headphones over her ears and pulled up a music editing and making software on her computer. Computer Science is what she plans to pursue as a career, of course, if only because it comes relatively easy to the young woman, but she does have a hobby of mixing music in her free time- she likes going to clubs to dance and such, so at some point she just started making dance music. Singing and things like that aren't really her thing, the girl has never been musically gifted in anything not involving the computer, but this she can at least do with some decency- not that it is a career she would ever genuinely pursue, because she'd rather be dancing to music than DJing it or anything of that variety. Only half of her attention is on the screen in front of her as music pounds through her ear drums, because the rest of it goes to surveying the people at this University. She's only able to come on financial aide and a few scholarships for 'women in IT or Engineering fields', as well as some help from the family that her grandmother used to work for, and thus fully intends to enjoy her time here for as long as all of that lasts. After all, everything ends eventually, and she can never know when the support she gets to be in this university will simply run dry. In fact, she pretty much expects it to eventually, but Delilah has never been an optimist, regardless of her sunny-sounding name.
She honestly just wants this assembly to be over so that she can get to her first class- something that isn't a common thought for the young woman. But she genuinely likes the subject she is majoring in, despite having mostly come to this school for the infamous parties and the legendary Greek System, and the teacher for her next class isn't too bad. CompSci 133, to be exact- intended for those whose focus is on Computer Science and who have a strong background in math. Perhaps she never liked writing or English class much, but the young woman has always had a knack for numbers- they are a constant and tend to have set solutions, after all. Delilah, unlike Finn, has no problem slouching slightly in her seat as she returns focus back to her computer screen.
