After all being happy is our fine citizens duty, and just look at how happy they are! We here at the Happiness and Peace of Mind committee ensure our citizens happiness. Dissatisfaction is not allowed nor is sadness. Isn't that wonderful!

Now there have been a few citizens who...showed dissatisfaction at living in this utopia, we got rid of them of course, can't let them taint this town of ours. Our rates are 99.99% of happy citizens now.

Of course since some of our citizens did show dissatisfaction each citizen now is required to wear a very fashionable and irremovable choker as well as jewelry that is embedded in them somewhere on there body! Isn't that wonderful! Not only did we do to ensure their happiness, but we made sure it is always fashionable!

The choker reads your heartbeat and is a tracking device in case they try to run away.

The jewelry is a secondary tracking device and reads your brainwaves!

Remember Happiness is your sacred duty!

Welcome to Koufuku.

The town of Happiness.

At least that is what it proclaims. And for a lot of the brainwashed masses it is a town of utter happiness, everyone works together there are no fights and they love their glorious leader Ondine!

However listen very carefully and a few here are...less then happy a crime punishable by death if they find out. They have found ways to regulate their heartbeat and their brainwaves to mimic happiness.

Every day there is a speech from the Happiness and Peace of Mind committee reminding them of the sacred duty. At the end they always say 'If you want to attend your own funeral line up over there~" Those who do line up on the right are killed by a method of their choosing.


A few less then happy citizens are planning an escape they have found the way out, but will they survive the Hunters from the Committee? Will they survive outside the walls they have known their entire life? And is everyone with them a friend?
