Another day at the local MMA Gym, refining some skills for Jay Kujiyuu. The Kung Fu Fighter was unleashing his Punches, Palm Strikes, chops, and even fingertip strikes with tremendous power, as well as elbows, knees, and general kicks. At the moment he had only his pants, wristbands, and a head band on, his skin slick with sweat as he poured out his strength through each blow to blast the heavy duty bag.

"ATOU! WATAAH!!! YEEEAAATA!!! ATATATATATA!!!"

The shouts reminiscent of classic Kung Fu Films echoed as he and many others were practicing their skills. Eventually, he unleashed a Chokuzuki Karate Strike Style Punch to finish up, before turning around and checking the weights on his ankles, as well as his wristbands, which were also weighted. They weren't much help to him either. It only provided more difficulty for the training. And he liked it that way.

Still, his only difficulty was finding a girl who could be his tag-team partner: And girlfriend. He sighed, sipping from his water bottle as he thought about his perfect girl again, as he noticed a couple other random contenders together.

Noaire sat in a tree gazing upon the horizon, still slightly bloody from his recent encounter with a guy he doesn't like, or should he say DIDN'T like. The man pulled a knife on Noaire. And so Noaire fought him, and got a little carried away in the fight and killed the man. Luckily he was in a very dark alleyway and got away fast enough with no witnesses. He decided to wash up and went to a random gym. He noticed the man with no shirt on glazed with sweat. Turning away Noaire then went to a practice dummy and started punching the daylights out of it, as it recoils he almost flips the dummy over his head but instead throws it ten feet. He continues the onslaught of attacks to the dummy until he gets tired both physically and of just murderously beating the dummy. He then thinks of whom his partner will be and what she will be like. He then returns to the killing of the training dummy.

Jenny sipped at her Yoohoo, her eyes focused on the screen in front of her. She finished up a battle on her laptop and logged off of the game, closing the laptop and shoving it into her black rucksack. She put some money and a few other supplies into the bag before leaving her apartment. She walked down a hall and out of the apartment building, starting off at a jog towards the local gym. She was in her usual appearance, a boy-ish neko. She was a tomboy after all. She reached the gym and walked in, finding only two people that seemed like decent fighters, both guys. The rest looked horrible and untrained. She placed her bag on the ground and pulled her hood just up to her ears, not wanting to cover them. They always gave her an advantage when listening for surprise attacks. She then picked a random dummy and started attacking it with great speed, focusing on only beating it to a pulp. Her mind strayed to who her partner could be for the tournament, but it swiftly shifted back to beating up the dummy and new ways to train herself. Her tail swayed back and forth as she attacked and her ears flattened against her head so she wouldn't have to deal with wind rushing into them and messing her up. With her looks, she was self-assured that she would be left alone. She knew that at a first glance, anyone would think she was a boy and that was her defense.
