Despite his title as a King Madoka looks fairly average and to an extent, simple in a way. Atop his head he adorns thin layered black hair that appears slightly messy, yet neat in an oddly similar way. Depending on the light source it could look slightly brown, as some have commented. His eyes are a lovely teal shade, commonly shielded by a thick pair of glasses. Overall he is not overly well built but is by no means flimsy, the boy just lacks a bit of muscle! Usually you can find Madoka dressed fairly simply, along the lines of shirts and jumpers and all that, though what he always retains is the same long black coat that he’s always had.

There’s not much odd about the boy really, though his glasses are sometimes a point of interest for others to notice. Likewise the fact he’s a king tends to be considered a bit odd, going by the looks of him. Though he doesn't like to point it out, being Japanese and suddenly moving to LA, he tends to stand out at times through his accent.

Madoka is calm and collected for the most part despite his boyhood-looks and inexperience, becoming more reserved and distant the longer he remains as King and, all the while his inability to relax becoming more apparent as he strives to keep on top of things.

What with his sudden shift in circumstance to become the Blue King, the boy has since learned to adapt and mold himself into what would be considered the ’ideal’ image of a King, becoming something viewed to be ’wiser than his years’ as some would comment. Madoka is composed and tactical in this light, vastly contradicting the soft-spoken boy would many come to meet. In actual fact despite appearances and simple intentions, he is very much ’ahead’ of his opponents than some would care to, or even want to think.

Likewise when it comes to business there is very little he won’t do to achieve his goals, and in a similar fashion very rarely let’s a crime go without punishment. Madoka is deadly driven to uphold ’justice’ in any form so long as it is carried out satisfyingly, in his opinion.

One of his more notable quirks is his visible detachment to those around him, a habit born out of the many broken friendships he has allowed to slip through his grasp, per say. Given his position as King, Madoka has in-turn gave up on trying to ’live’ a proper life and instead opted to solely focus on the many responsibilities that come with baring his Blue Crown. He is regretful for sure and often finds himself reminiscing, to the point that despite current situations, those who he once valued will forever still be ’important’ to him, secretly.

Generally, though once being a happy-going young lad at one point, nowadays it wouldn’t be a lie to say he lives for his title, and is partly obsessed with his attempts to gain the respect of his clansman as the King before him had done. He aims to succeed in this or die trying.

Blue ; As the Blue king, Madoka possesses the blue aura and is capable of forming force field barriers to protect both himself and his clansmen. Alternatively these force fields can in-turn be used on various objects and weapons to enhance their effectiveness. These defenses are known to withstand some of the most powerful attacks known out there.

{S T R E N G T H S}

Strategist ; Madoka is an exceptional strategist and very rarely is outsmarted by an opponent. He’d never allow any of his clansmen to walk into a trap and thus, is always formulating plans and the resources to achieve them. His ties with the LAPD aid to this cause.
Manipulator ; Though he may not look it, he does have a knack for swaying things to his favour. If there is something he truly wants and needs then the boy knows what tactics to use on people to gain it.
Appearance ; With his teenager’ish look many overlook and underestimate him. He uses this to his advantage and plays to it a little.
Gunmanship ; He’s an efficient gunman and is considered at his deadliest when armed with one. His aim is near perfect every time and really, only the very best could give him a challenge. It also plays well with his aura which only makes him a bigger threat when opposed.
Leadership ; Whether his clansman believe in him or not, or even like him, Madoka always does right by them and provides for the clan. So they can't deny his seriousness as a leader and King.

{W E A K N E S S E S}

Distant ; As a King he does what he has to, and once that’s done you’d not often find him socializing with many of his clansmen. He’s private and tends to retreat away when not needed.
Glasses ; The glasses aren't just for show. The boy does have bad eyesight and needs them to see! Which means he’s protective of them and should anyone dare touch them, he wouldn’t think twice about making them suffer for carelessly angering him.
Sensitive ; Although he’d deny it outright Madoka is deeply sensitive and takes things to heart. Therefore it’d be wise to not criticize him when wielding a gun, as at times he has been known to overact.
Dependent ; Despite his initial distance Madoka does depend on a close handful of clansmen, as he is still young and needs some guidance secretly, and only by those he truly trusts and respects.
Old Blue King ; It wouldn’t be hard to believe how often he is compared to the late Blue King. Not only from the clansman, Madoka often criticizes himself in comparison to their fallen King. He strives to be a fitting replacement and wants to succeed as the new King.

Meditating ; It's calming and relaxing, and eases his mind when alone. His job is stressful so it helps a lot when he chills-out.
Target Practice ; He's not at his skill level for nothing. The boy practices excessively though does enjoy it all the same too.
Walking ; Long walks are his favourite thing to do in the city.

Adjusting Glasses ; Madoka can always be seen fidgeting with his glasses now and again, as well cleaning and tweaking them.
Seriousness ; He takes his role as a King deadly serious, but then if he didn't then who would? He bears a lot of responsibility.

Make Amends ; He often pushes people away when it comes to his new responsibilities, so he hopes to one day make it up to them.

Death ; Seeing how the previous King was murdered, the boy can’t help but secretly fear that the same fate may befall him as well.
Caring ; His lifestyle is risky and many people die, so actually caring for others is not a common thing for him usually.

Originating from a small rural area of Japan, towards the North, Madoka spent much of his early days living with his father who worked full-time for some goods transportation company. As consequence their actual time together was kept to the weekends mostly, and the occasional late night, whilst the boy spent the rest of his time busying himself in school and helping out his grandparents.

For the most part the boy raised himself single-handedly when parental-guidance was unobtainable, though Madoka wasn’t the type to complain and actually, didn’t even realize how alone he often was. Beyond this however, the boy lived an otherwise average seeming life like many others his age. He played with friends and attended school, and studied very hard in hopes of making his family proud, that sort of thing.

It wasn’t until around the age of fourteen that his life took an abrupt change in direction, as Madoka was shipped over to live with his mother in Los Angeles for a period of time when the pair had got in contact. For whatever reasons unexplained his parents had divorced shortly after his birth and thus a connection with his mother was lost in result, but now things seemed on the up when moving to the country.

However what first seemed like the beginning of something special would gradually turn sour, as the would-be mother was not quite how anyone would have pictured. Relying on the drink a little too much and causing trouble a bit too often, Madoka soon found himself as the ‘parent’ to an unwanted ‘child’. The woman was often getting arrested for her drunken antics, though was pitied by the police purely for the boy's sake, as he’d become a regular visitor there to collect the woman.

His mother never learned and certainly didn’t express a sense of understanding where she was going wrong. In a way Madoka believed his mother may have been depressed, somehow, but it didn’t help financial matters either way. He still persisted with his studies at a local high school in the meantime, though it took most of his time just to grasp the language than anything else, but he kept at it all the same.

Having spent regular intervals at the police station it was only a matter of coincidence that he bumped into the Blue King one day, though unaware of whom the figure was at that time, Madoka found this apparent stranger willing to aid the boy in dealing with his mother. Given the trouble the woman regularly caused, and the pity others seemed to feel for Madoka, it was unsurprising that sooner or later the King would develop an interest as well as the pair crossed paths regularly within the station. Thanks to his mother, of course.

Madoka was very grateful to the kind figure who somehow managed to keep his mother out of jail, a scenario which reoccurred a few times after in the following months. Yet despite its frequency, he would always repay the King somehow, though was still oblivious as to who the person truly was, which the King seemed to appreciate more. Though it was one time in particular when the King assisted that Madoka remembers well, as when going to thank the person the following day the King was nowhere to be found. They had vanished.

It was not long after that time that Madoka would awaken as the new Blue King, having perhaps been chosen especially by the fallen one before him, or maybe it was once again out of pure coincidence. Some days after he was approached by members of the Blue Clan, realizing the boy to be their new King, they brought him to their headquarters and things fell into place since that moment. He was their king, simply.

Through his lieutenant and other clansman Madoka learned all that he needed to know about the fallen King. He grew to admire the person, trying to practically mold himself into a fitting replacement. Though of course this rise to power was not without its consequences, as many of his once close relationships were long since discarded for his new title.

With the clan he found a new home, replacing old problems with the new, and generally easing himself into a world where he didn’t feel like a complete foreigner. Over a considered short time-lapse they introduced him to the ways of guns and justice, and Los Angeles, traits which would later impact the boy much more than initially anticipated.

Now as the king, the boy has since accepted his new responsibilities and seeks to uphold what the old King had built up, if not better it and expand the clan. But what with the rumours of the ‘King Murderer’ emerging amidst the clans Madoka doesn’t know what to believe, though plans to keep things running as smoothly as possible in the meantime. Despite the chaotic circumstances at present.
