Growing up the only adult in Rose's life was her father. Her father refused to tell her about her mother for a long time, he eventually gave in and told her when she was 16. Her mother was his fathers former secretary, they had briefly dated, but weren't happy together. Nine months later Rose was born. Her mother wanted to put her up for adoption, but her father decided to take her in instead.
Rose was a spoiled child, she would get whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted it. This included private tutors, as he wanted her to have the best education possible. Learning the normal things, as well as practical things like cooking, which she greatly enjoyed. She was sheltered from a lot of the bad things going on in the world, being lead to believe that nothing bad ever happened.
Though when she was young she didn't realize it, her father managed to juggle owning a multimillion dollar company, while still having time to spend with his daughter. Once she got older and realized this, she began to idolize her father, aspiring to be exactly like him, or better.
The year she turned 15 they moved from New York to Los Angeles. At first she had protested, but once she met the former gold clan king, she made it her mission to join. Since her father was close to the king, she had no problem getting in though. She completely dedicated herself to the clan, taking on odd jobs, and doing favours for other members. Eventually she became like an assistant to the former king, and though she was upset by the kings death, she assumed the same responsibility for the new king.
