Hildegarde Faust
❋ Nickname ❋
Garda
❋ Alias ❋
Queen of Ultra-violence
❋ Age ❋
19
❋ Gender ❋
Female
❋ Flame Type ❋
Garda makes use of the Quasar (quasi-stellar object) flame. This flame is the brightest and most energetic of the space flame types, causing anything that comes into contact with them to become highly explosive. The flame takes on a maroon hue that sparks and bursts in unpredictable and uncontrollable patterns. Depending on the intensity with the flame is manifested, they can emit radiation as well, which can be dangerous to any living entities in the area, including the user.
❋ Sexuality ❋
Heterosexual
❋ Romantic Interest ❋
Alastor Rizzo
❋ Family ❋
She had two twin brothers in the 89th Mechanized Division back in the future. She has not contacted them in a while. Her mother used to be a bounty hunter of sorts, using her Quasar flame to hunt other rogue flame users, though she met her end during a routine mission several years ago. All other family members are deceased.
5'10", 140 pounds
❋ Hair Color/Length/Quality ❋
Long hip-length black hair, straight, with bangs that fall around the ears.
❋ Eye color ❋
Gold
❋ Distinguishable Facial Features ❋
A small black butterfly tattoo under her left eye.
❋ Birthmarks/Scars/Tattoos/Piercings ❋
Apart from the above, none.
❋ Physical Description ❋
Garda is a bit on the tall side, with slender but toned arms and a wholesomely thin curvy physique. Her skin, a deep rich brown, seems almost radiant, and is hot to the touch. While out and about, she can usually be spotted wearing her large white silk bandanna around her neck as a scarf draping down the middle of her chest. Her shirts, like her pants and belt, are mostly black with white butterfly patterns across the front, and only cover the front of her body, leaving her arms, back, and sides exposed. On her ankles and forearms are thigh-high white tube socks worn pushed down around the ankles and wrists. They are bisected radially by small black bands that keep them in place. She often wears heels. When angered, Quasar flames can be seen coming from her mouth and nose and even eyes if she's seriously peeved.
❋ Personality ❋
Garda is a very open and approachable person, is amenable to most people, and is very ditsy at first blush. She is nice to almost everyone, including strangers, and loves kids.
However, she does suffer from mild OCD, and, when aggravated, she tends to fall off the deep end mentally. The depths of her anger are vast and unknowable. Even Alastor tends to avoid irking her.
In respect to Alastor, she is madly in love. Emphasis on "madly". She will do anything for Alastor, including sacrificing herself body and soul for his ambitions. Do not underestimate what she will do and who she will go through to do it when Alastor is involved.
Outside of her Quasar flame, Garda has the "ability" of "fanatical frenzy". That is, there is absolutely nothing (short of death) that will stop her from accomplishing her goals, and her only goal is: satisfy Alastor. You can torture her, rip her arms off, shoot her in the chest, and smash her knees in and she'd still find a way to bite your neck out with what remained of her teeth without a moment's hesitation if you so much as took Alastor's name in vain.
With her flame, she can make objects that come into contact with her hands explode. The complexity and size of the object is directly proportional the amount of time she'll need to inject Quasar flames into it before it becomes molecularly unstable enough to explode. Human bodies, for example, are very complex and take much longer (and much more concentration) to explode than, say, a golf ball.
❋ Box Weapon ❋
She actually doesn't have a box weapon! Though if she did, there is no telling how much destruction she could reap.
❋ Techniques ❋
Infinite-Mass Punch
Garda can make objects she infuses with Quasar flames explode. The more massive and complex the object, the more time Garda would have to spend with her hands in contact with the object as she injects flames into it. With the Infinite-Mass Punch, Garda can "charge" her fist. Essentially, she can amass the necessary concentration of flames in and around her fist(s) before ever coming into contact with said object. The convergence of Quasar flames in and around her fists make them "super massive," and can even begin attracting nearby objects with their gravitational pull. When she unleashes the pent-up energy via punch, the target object will explode instantly.
The downside to "charging" over just injecting the flames directly is that the Quasar flames emit radiation when gathered in large concentrations. This radiation is dangerous to all living beings, including Garda herself. When using the Infinite-Mass Punch, she is essentially lessening her lifespan. If used to explode a truly massive target, she might even kill herself, or lose the limb entirely. As such, she uses the move sparingly.
Rocket Candy
Garda's primary means of combat is her love of the Rocket-brand hard candies! She always carries a box of the futuristic hard candies on her at all times. Though the candies themselves have no special properties other than their flavor, Garda uses them as the basis of her attacks by imbuing the candies with Quasar flames while they're in her mouth. She uses the candies in the following manner:
Nade
Garda spits a flame-infused candy from her mouth that, after some predesignated amount of time, explodes violently, damaging everything around it.
Garda spits a flame-infused candy from her mouth that, after some predesignated amount of time, explodes violently, emitting a short pulse of rapidly changing electric and magnetic fields (as if from a Quasar) that have the same effect as a high-altitude EMP. Even C-Frames can suffer crippling damages from this radiated pulse. This move damages her mouth when used and so is more of a once-per-battle maneuver.
Garda crushes the candy in her mouth and spits it all around her, saturating the immediate area with the flame-infused fragments. The fragments become suspended in the air at various heights. If a fragment is disturbed in any way (pushed by the wind, touched, bumped, shot at, knocked, etc), it will detonate like a Nade, causing a chain reaction that will annihilate anyone and anything that is unfortunate enough to be caught in the resulting blast.
The only one capable of moving about within the field of explosive fragments without setting them off is Garda herself.
When viewed from without the cloud of candy fragments, the terrestrial constellation they form resembles a star system whose member stars are connected with blue lines, or perhaps even a blue-ish Quasar (hence the name).
Booster
Garda spits a flame-infused candy from her mouth that, after coming into contact with the air, ignites, surging forward like a ballistic missile. When it makes impact, it has the same effect as a Nade. They are very hard to dodge if you do not move with abnormal speed. They're best imagined as individual gunshots.
This form of attack is quite possibly the hardest and most time consuming, alongside the Infinite-Mass Punch. Like the IMP, the Attractor takes a while to charge, anywhere from half a minute to several, depending on how strong she wants the effect to be.
When she spits the heavily flame-infused candy from her mouth, it will suspend itself in mid-air and begin attracting masses towards itself, like a black hole. Though it is capable of attracting any mass towards itself, the Attractor attracts other flame types more violently than it does anything else. This makes the Attractor useful as an anti-flame weapon since it would make flame usage much more difficult within its sphere of influence.
The downside to this is that Garda's own flames would be attracted into the Attractor's "black hole"-like mass as well, so she would be just as crippled by the attack flame-wise as anyone else. Still, she's
Spitfire
The Spitfire is essentially a mixture of several of Garda's more powerful techniques. She first crushes the candy in her mouth, forming several flame-infused fragments. She then spits them out all at once. They take flight as if she had launched a series of Booster candies, igniting and surging forward like miniature missiles, making them hard to dodge (similar to gunshots). Once ignited, the candies act as miniature sparsely-charged Attractors. Though they are too weakly charged to actually attract masses and flames to them like the real Attractor candy attack does, they are strong enough to pull themselves towards sources of flame, and so act as "flame-seeking projectiles". Also unlike the real Attractors, the Spitfire candies are less attracted to Quasar flames than they are to other flames, and are attracted to larger sources of flame rather than smaller. Finally, upon impact with the closest flame source, they explode as Nades.
Since the candy is embodied with the Quasar flame in such a way as to facilitate all of the above, the actual explosive impact of this type of attack is minimal (read: highly survivable). This attack is not one that is intended to heavily damage a target or targets, but to seek them out by leveraging the laws of physics. This method of attack makes Garda extremely dangerous against illusionists and Mist/Star -type guardians (since the laws of physics are immune to base illusion), as well as an excellent hunter of flame users.
❋ History ❋
Hildegarde had an adventurous childhood, tagging along with her mother and brothers during their various escapades. Her mother was a notable flame hunter in the future. Flame hunters are hired future mercenaries that specialize in neutralizing certain types of flame user. Her mother specialized in doing battle with Star-type flame users and their extreme sensory deception. When she was killed during a mission, Hildegarde decided to pick up where her mother left off, becoming one of the youngest flame hunters in history at the age of 11. For two years she hunted at the pleasure of her clients, taking down several high profile mafioso and legendary Star-flame users, earning herself a reputation in the process as the "Queen of Ultra-violence". She was even offered a position in the planetary military superstructure as a potential C-Frame pilot, though she declined. It was the month before her 14th birthday that she met Alastor Lorenzo Koenig Rizzo. His father had hired her to go after a rogue Rizzo who defected over to a rival family. Instantly, she fell in love with Alastor, her client's son, though it is not clear if her love for him is reciprocated.
After she refused to leave Alastor's side and lovingly pledged her undying loyalty to him, Alastor accepted her into his entourage as his Quasar guardian after receiving permission from his father. They've been great friends ever since.
