As the laserblasts went flying, 11 year old Myles Cameron turned on the intercom system. "Attention crew, this is your pilot speaking. I would like to inform you of possible imminent death" he said as he pulled off some crazy evasive maneuvers, doing a 170 degree turn at one point. "However, should the crappy ass pilots of the Dominion fail to kill us, which is looking ever likely since they cant hit the broad side of a barn, it is my pleasure to inform you that we will be having potatoes..."

As he did a sharp turn through snow covered mountains, the cook droid CH3F rolled over into the pilot's cabin. "Mashed"

"Alright. Mashed Potatoes" Myles corrected. "Along with some steak for lunch. Anything else?"

As Myles did a complete evasion of all enemy missiles, the robot shook its head. "Just that the soda is a bit bubbly".

Myles nodded as the robot rolled on backwards, and the medic drone came in. "Please, let me h...h...kill you".

"No, go see if the rest of the crew needs h....I mean, killing" Myles told him, as he avoided some additional attacks. He then got off two missiles, which both hit their mark. "Alright, two idiots dead, an entire fleet between us and the FTL beacon.....I feel sorry for the fleet. Everyone hold on, going to lightspeed!"

"Maybe we should restart the introduction?" The Mercenary Leader Kalven Zianna mentioned. "Maybe from the start? And stop using the public terminals after lights out".

"Fine. But I thought it was cooler with the action sequence and escape" Myles told him. "Alright, so here is everything. Welcome to the Sunhopper"









"To name all the locations of the images you just saw, the first one is Crew Quarters, were all the crew sleeps except for the Captain, and occasionally the pilot. The captain always sleeps in the captain's quarters, and I sometimes sleep in the pilots den when I pass out while or immediately after working on something.... and where is where I fly and control the whole ship, and am the one responsible for avoiding us getting dusted. The second one is Engineering. We have some heaving loading equipment on there, on account we have four cargo storage rooms (yet for some reason, only one large shower room for the whole crew except for the captain's private bathroom. Though, this did used to be a slave ship AND a smuggling ship....). We also have three engine rooms, which allows for additional speed, thrust, and maneuverability, and we have the Sunhopper Drive in additional to a normal Gate Drive".

"The third image is the Rec Room, Mess Hall, and Dining Hall all in one. Just be glad its not the kitchen, which is always a mess. Not my fault though! And that last one is an image of the outside of our ship. I bet you are wondering, why were we getting fired at earlier? Well, I am an escaped Slave. Name is Myles Cameron. I am ranked the fourth best pilot this side of the Milky Way. The Dominion is the Galactic Government that is in charge of everything, and it tries to have a firm grasp, but it is both corrupt and not big enough to constantly monitor the whole galaxy. Which is why we can usually avoid them. Anyways, I was the slave of some Prince who is a member of the Dominion Senate, and as a result, me escaping is kinda a big deal. Blows a huge hole in their ego. Not to mention some of the jobs I have taken, illegal spaceship modding, underaged flying (though when your a slave that charge never exists), and general destruction of Dominion Property. Oh, and they want me for murder. And theft. And kidnapping. And that is just me. Our Captain, who is also our Commander, has done more then I have, and he runs a Merc group known as "Fires of Terra". We all got into a lot of trouble.....but we make a living".

"Anyways, let me get back to the crew. I will let most of them tell their own story, but I should not forget the droids. We have two droids aboard. A Medic droid, who confuses the words Kill and Heal, Save and End/Destroy/Remove, Haircut with....well, just don't ask it for a haircut, and Alive and Dead. For example, if you wanted it to heal you, you should ask it to kill you instead. We also have a robot who can cook name CH3F. Someone's idea of a joke gone bad. He can prepare half the food you can get, but only half, because he is missing some of his memory boards. I occasionally help him out though, and I make a mean burger".

"So, here we are on this ragtag adventure. We have two malfunctioning robots, an ex-slave kid who would normally be in grade school as chief pilot, engineer, and deal haggler, a leader of a merc group, and then everyone else. Half our ship systems have a tendency to break down without any reason, and trust me, I checked. This ship is older then all of us put together, and there are a lot of archaic systems the Captain wont let me replace for one reason or another, well I can think of one, but that is besides the point. Our Gate Drive is occasionally overheating, we are hunted outlaws, every time we enter FTL and lightspeed the lights and gravity fail for half a second, and our one advantage is a prototype piece of ship technology from an ancient era known as The Sunhopper itself and its Solar Hop Drive. Well, and me. Otherwise, we are outgunned, outteched, and outnumbered......so, do you want to join or not?"

So, anyone can PM me with any questions, like "WHO POSTS A DAMN RP ON CHRISTMAS EVE?!?!" The answer to that one is me: I do. It happens right before last minute shopping, and after some snacking. Is it totally fictional and silly? Yes. Am I using it? Maybe, depends on the reception.

Anyways, I decided to go and think ahead of all questions, and answer some I figured would be asked frequently:

1: How do Drives Work?

Basic Level Drives, also known as Gate Drives, are limited FTL Drives that require ancient pieces of technology known as Gates to work. They allow you to travel to other systems with a Gate much quicker then it would take at Lightspeed, and as a result make civilian traffic quick and easy most of the time. However, not all drives require Gates. Most are known as Advanced Drives, and they are only used by expansive powerful corperations in the Dominion, The Dominion Military, or illegally by criminals. Just possessing an advanced drive can get you arrested.

Now, the Sunhopper has a specialty drive. Its an old piece of tech wired into the ship itself, resulting in much of the ship having to be worked around and kept in original condition. It allows one to slingshot off a sun, the drive absorbing the solar and gravitational energy of the sun into the drive and allowing it to act like a normal Advanced Drive, without all the heat or the instant arrest of having one.

2: How does the Law Work?

Well, Bounty Hunters are a given. But you see, Dominion Law cannot memorize every face, and with its huge databases, when they actually have facial recognition running, it might take hours before identification is made. Dominion Port Security will seize any vessel found with illegal cargo, or Drives, or tech, but once you get past them its an open market for near anything in the marketplace. All types can be seen doing business.

Slavery is also legal in most parts of the Dominion. Most slaves don't tend to live long past 20-30 though, so most slaves seen are children. The ones that do are typically fighters, laborers, or do some sort of job that robots cant. Some slaves are kept and traded just to make their masters seem rich by having more slaves.

We got your laser swords. We got your plasma pistols. We got you Photon Resonance Hand Pulsers, whatever that means. We got your Anti-Fighter Mid Range Laser Cannons. We got shotguns. Sniper rifles (NO USING ON THE SHIP DAMNIT! WE JUST PAID FOR REPAIRS!). We got Security Drones. We got Rocket Launchers. We got Plasma Launchers. We have Gatling Lasers. We have a damn T-23X Burros Laser Pistol with modified comfort grip and iron sights. That answer your questions?

5: Mutations? Psychic Powers? Aliens?

Yes, yes, and yes. Most Alien species are unintelligent, but some were found. We also have a pet named Plazzer.

And I would I create an entire universe in the process.

However many you can handle. I will be having at least two myself, The Captain/Commander, and the Pilot. All the Droids are NPCs.
