Introduction
Originally set up after a medical doctor amongst a group of other scientists had opened up his sizable home to strangers-- Posthumans. Those who had mutated from the norm. What had begun as careful experimentation had gone on to become a place where they could stay for a time. That doctor would call upon a fellow scientist to help in studying these genetic deviants.
But of course, one thing led to another and it was believed that this was a place where the persecuted could sleep easy. And that it was, when gypsies and magicians alike found refuge on the estate grounds of Doctor Helen Acacia and her companion Adrian Hamilton.
All they could do however, was study and care for these people the best they could. The idea of harnessing mutations let alone the mystic arts was too great a task for a pair of scientists from decades past. So they would simply offer their assistance as best they could, and a warm home to live in. The Acacian House of Hospitality and Good-Will just outside of Canterbury City.
Ever since 1981, the original estate had been caught in a fire. And then in 1985, events unknown to guests of the shelter had caused the untimely deaths of Dr. Acacia and Dr. Hamilton.
But the safety to dream of a better world was not lost. In the 70's, the two minds had come together in love. And unto them a child was born. Arnold Hamilton, who strives to further the shelter into something far greater than ever before. With the original boarders having split up or met some other far more unfortunate fate, he sets up shop, taking in many new boarders. But if anyone didn't know any better, they could have sworn he was looking for a group to help him show the world that power could be used properly regardless its form, whether it be a man in a cape, or a scared youth in need of a guiding hand.
We go to modern day. Mutation and the taking on powers of the occult are the most common means for younger folk to gain actual superpowers. And with those seeking refuge, there are those who refuse the world and would see it pay for its discrimination.

FOR THOSE WHO CAME IN LATE...
The Acacian House had re-opened its doors under the supervision of up and coming Dr. Arnold Hamilton. At the moment, he only seeks to provide housing for youths of an unusual nature, Arnold's hopes being that he can spread it all over the world someday. His boarders have lived under his roof for at least a couple of weeks, familiar with Arnold and each other, and may be placed at the forefront of revolutionizing human / posthuman relations.
That is, until a whole slew of trouble comes their way. Canterbury City and the areas surrounding the more urban sections has been experiencing a series of Posthuman-Level criminal activities, with reports of roads and ground damage all over the state of Massachusetts, as Arnold begins a journey into finding a means to tutor and train the boarders in their powers by learning more about mysticism and genes. Of course, that'll be made considerably difficult with the latecomer, whose powers derived from a lab accident that hit him up with extra-dimensional energies!
But what'll that all mean to the PhenomoForce?
Diddly Squat, because they're gonna have to get close and share the feels if they want to be heroes!

Collectibles
