You were flown into Virridian City as you are told it is the location of the first Badge needed to become a Pokemon Master. You are caught off guard when you find the Pokemon Gym is for sale and a sign reading "Under new management". With a sigh you head down the road towards a grassy area you noticed before. You soon enter a small path with high grass surrounding the area and ridges lifted from the earth, something must have happened in this area along time ago. On the other side of the path you can see a small town, but it's too far away for you to make out the buildings. You curiously walk forward wondering if there happens to be a gym in the village, your Pokedex has little information on this are or the Pokemon in it. You soon see other, what at least look to be, Pokemon Trainers. Will you approach them or ignore them? Battle them or make friends? No matter what you decide, here on Route 1 in the Kanto Region is the destined spot for you to start you journey!

Posting will be allowed after 3pm CT. Play in the character you are playing. You can roam around in the grass till others players start to play, but remember I must be here to move the battles, encounters, and catches to proceed.

The boy was reading information about pokemon battles sittin to a side on the Route 1, luckily the Virridian City Gym was closed, it would be unwise challenge a Gym leader with his current skill, it would like jogging one day and try to win a marathon the next, that kind of thing never happen, the Mudkip was quiet beside him despite having little time together got along very well.
Roy recalled the reason was here, despite having sixteen years just started his journey to become trainer most of the others had years doing it and if that wasn't enough this region is unknow to him he barely remember what path he took to reach this place, sighs, he doubted his ability to fulfill the promise to his friend, as if sensing his doubts the Mudkip approached his trainer affectionately "Right, I haven't give you a name yet," he thought for a moment and said "Henceforth you will be 'Iustitia'" the little pokemon jumped with joy "Let's keep moving" stood up and continued to walk through the Route 1.

"Jeez!" Aqua muttered, staring at the desolate Pokemon Gym, so down in the dumps that it was up for sale.

"Well, I guess not everybody can takes care of everything, huh, Gold?" She glanced to her left, throwing the abnormally colored Charmander a encouraging grin, "But you can't give up. I guess its on to route one. It's not like we were even ready for a real Gym Battle anyway."

Gold simply nodded (as best as a Pokemon can nod), putting a small paw against the dirty glass window. Even if he was young, he wasn't foolish. And, as fiery and headstrong as he was, Aqua Blue (as he preferred to think of her, over just either Aqua or Blue; now if only he could talk) was usually right about these kinds of things. They weren't in particularly well equipped for a Pokemon battle as intense as a Gym Battle.

Without warning, Blue skipped on a head, "See if you can catch me!" She called back. A healthy run was always good for a Pokemon's well being.

Gold followed eagerly behind, grabbing her foot when he could catch on. The small golden lizard was a runt for his kind, and his weight did nothing to slow Blue down. But she stopped anyway, leaning down to rub him on the head, as though she was proud of him for his success at catching, "You're a good guy," she murmured then looked back up.

"Route One." Her eyes glanced over everything within her field of vision, only widening a bit as she spotted another trainer, a teen about her age, with a water Pokemon. A Mudkip by the looks of it.

Looks like I'm not the only one out here, she thought, throwing a worried glance down at Gold. He was staring eagerly at the Mudkip, looking as though he was ready for a fight.

"Gold," she chastised, "That's a water Pokemon. You're a fire Pokemon."

She looked up. It wouldn't hurt to interact with guy. But....what if he wanted to fight her? There was no way she would win. Her pokemon, like his, was a starter, but her Pokemon was a fire type, an obvious loser to a water type. Gold tugged on her pants, and she hesitantly began to follow him towards the other trainer, still with doubts in mind.

Anna was walking with Sizzle in her arms, she worried about a pokemon its size walking around on its own. She was walking towards the gym, and noticed a sign on it, saying it was closed.

"Oh well, sorry, Sizzle not today." She said, secretly happy, because Sizzle was far too young and inexperianced to take on a gym. Sizzle only put its head down and pressed its nose against the glass. "Sorry, buddy. Hey! How about we go look train, how about that." She said to her downtroten cynadaquil, who picked its head up and let out a yipp. "Ok, good. Lets get going." She said and continued down the road.

She found her way to route 1, according to a sign she saw, and noticed a girl standing there with an odd colored charmander beside her, staring at some guy with a mudkip. Well, sizzle noticed first, and squired its way out of her arms, and ran to the mudkip, looking to interact, and she ran after. "No, Sizzle get back here." She yelled as she followed her pokemon. When Sizzle finally stopped, it got close to the mudkip, it started sniffing it, as far as she could tell. With Sizzle's snout, she always assumed it was sniffing something. "Sorry about that, this little guy just ran off." She said to the guy who appearantly owned said mudkip.

Roy turned and saw a girl and a Cyndaquil, the fire pokemon was near Iustitia who hid behind the boy, could it be that they want to fight? he thought a little scared, no calm down, our pokemon are starter and mine is water type, everyone knows that fire is weak against water, he told himself to calm down
"Don't worry" he smiled to see the girl had no such intention "Do you also come from the closed gym?" Roy noticed that there was another girl near with a golden Charmander, that was the first time that the boy saw something like that, but then again, just had a couple of weeks as trainer.
"Excuse me" he told the Cyndaquil's girl to not be rude and speak to the blonde "Hello, why don't you come?", it would be nice to interact with other rookies besides watching how Iustitia had elemental advantage he was confident that there wouldn't emerge a battle without warning.
"I'm named Roy, as you can see I'm a rookie, Nice to meet you two" he introduce himself since is the appropriate when you meet new people.

Silver was hopping through the trees. He didn't want to start in Hoenn although he felt much safer there. "Come on Bud" he said his small treeko jumping behind him. He kept himself moving trying to get to the first gym. He saw it in the distance then made it out of the forest before seeing it was closed and three people around it. He growled but was knocked out of the tree by treeko who crashed into him. "Ow watch it." he said his Treeko laughing but SIlver quickly joined in thinking it was kinda funny.

Raine walked through the foresty pathway, looking up at the wide, blue sky with such interest. Her eyes sparkled in delight, but it was soon directed to a torchic walking beside her. "hehe we're finally setting off huh..?" The torchic smiles and nods happily. "TOR!" "hehe yeah, I can't wait...!" Kasumi beams at the sun, and suddenly, with such excitement, sprinted off towards route 1. The torchic blinks in panic and struggles to catch up, having no other choice, the torchic flew lamely, clinging onto it's trainer. "T-tor..!"
Couple of minutes, she skidded to a stop and noticed the other trainers. 1 male teen and 2 females. Three words sprang to mind. A potential battle... but before anything else, she heard a little crash in the close distance. Surprised, She turned around, only to spot a teenager and a grass type pokemon. It was her turn to panic a bit. "U-Um are you alright...?" She walked near in question, her torchic chirping in curiosity. She held out her hand.

Anna had finally caught Sizzle when when the Mudkip trainer introduced himself as Roy. She realized this would be a great chance to meat rookies like herself.

"Well, hello Roy. My name is Anna, and this is Sizzle." She said, and as if on cue, Sizzle let out a yip. Just then she remembered that there was another new trainer there, with an odd-colored Charmander. "Well, i guess that leaves you. Whats your story?" She asked as Sizzle got out of her arms again and tried to get near the mudkip once again, "Come on Sizzle, not today." She groaned to herself, when Sizzle went up to the charmander, doing the same thing it did with mudkip, making Anna's head drop a little bit.

"Hi Roy, Anna. I'm Aqua Haiku. But you can call me Blue. That is if you'd like." she said, throwing in a hopefully pleasant smile and giving a somewhat shy wave to both trainers and their pokemon. "This little guy over here," she said, patting Gold on the head as he looked at the Cyndaquil strangely, "is Golden Flame. But you can call him Gold." She let out a small disappointed chuckle. "Actually, the Gym just rejected us, seeing as its all up for sale and what not. Um, I was about to head out to route one though," she murmured, bending down to pat the Mudkip on his head.

"Gold would loose to your Pokemon," she said idly, feeling the different texture of the Mudkip's head compared to Gold's.

"It just happens because both are starters, with training they can overcome this weakness," the boy said, smiling, "By the way she's called Iustitia" mention the name of the Mudkip while the girl patted her, "Personally I'm fine, I definitely would had lost the battle, it was unwise of me to try to challenge a gym leader" Roy confessed honestly, the future looked somewhat dark, he was traveling in an unknown region with the limited knowledge he had about the pokemon and its battles, sighed and then checked his backpack, he didn't had many things within a couple of empty Pokeballs was three potions, a map and something the shop clerk called 'Pokégear', which Roy still didn't know very well how is used.
Then he had an idea somewhat hasty, "Forgive me if I'm bother you, but how about if we travel together?", He felt a little lonely traveling alone with Iustitia since she just said 'mudkip' and nothing else, travel with other people would be reassuring since they would knew the region better than him.

Silver was laughing with his partner when he heard a noise. U-Um are you alright...?" Silver nodded then took the girls hand and got up. "Yeah I'm fine ma'am." he said ma'am purely for the reason of him not knowing her name. She looked about the same age as him but he saw that as no reason not to be nice. He looked down to see a Torchic with the girl, she looked like she had the same amount of experience he had and didn't seem too bad. " So you're a trainer to huh, nice Torchic." he said then heard Bud run over to his leg and smiled then he saw the girl and clung to his trainer. He didn't like strangers on account of his early trainer. "Um and this is Bud my Treeko. " the pokemon peered out and gave a small wave to the trainer and her pokemon and ducked back behind Silver.

"Lustitia," Blue repeated smiling and giving it another scratch. "Hold still," she murmured, slipping out a pink Pokedex and scanning both the Lustitia and the Cyndaquil. Blue's eyes widened. As hastily as it had been brought up, it was a worthwhile idea. "I would have lost too," she admitted, a bit shamefully, "Gold's nowhere near the level to fight Gym Battles."

"Sure!" she said a bit excited, as Gold jumped up and down in agreement, offering a small paw to Lustitia. Blue offered her hand to Roy as well, wondering if the other girl and her pokemon would also agree to the offer. This was a new opportunity for them, one where she wouldn't be alone in her travel. Maybe they'd even be her life long friends. Whatever the situation, she all of sudden felt optimistic.

Anna still had her head down when Roy offered to travel together, and Blue had accepted. She wanted to travel with someone, because she was new to this region, and hopefully she could make some more friends.

"Sure. Sounds like fun." She said smiling as Sizzle tried to hug Gold and Lustitia at the same time, although it appeared to be having trouble completing this task. She took out her pokedex and quickly scanned Gold and Lustitia, happy at the information it brought her. "Ok, now. Whagt should be our first course of action as a team?" She said, and Sizzle gave up and just went to hug Gold with its tiny little arms.

"Yeah I'm fine ma'am." She blinks considerable, before pulling him up. 'Ma'm...?' She wonders but smiles when he finally began to talk again. " So you're a trainer to huh, nice Torchic." Her torchic blinks and looks up at the man, blinking even more. Though Raine just grins. "Thanks!-" but before she can continue, she noticed a treeko run over and cling onto Silver's leg.. 'His pokemon...?' She stared at the grass pokemon, before giggling softly. "How cute.." She said to herself in a hushed voice. "Um and this is Bud my Treeko. " Raine continued to remain silent, and squealed a bit at the mega cuteness the treeko gave off. Defiantly when Bud waved out to her and her pokemon, before ducking back. "Hehe, well um this is Blaze..my torchic..." She nodded towards the fire pokemon, and beams. "And im Raine Hoishi! Its a pleasure to meet you... um..?" She lingered off, and realized, that she didn't know his name. "um...?.."

"Really? Thank you very much, I felt a bit apprehensive about traveling alone," the boy smiled as he shook the hand of the girl called Aqua, now traveling companions, Roy waited a few moments to see the reply of Anna who, to his joy, also accepted happily.

"Ok, now. What should be our first course of action as a team?"

The boy kept silence as he thought of what could be the best they should do, "Hmm, seeing that our pokemon don't have much experience, it would be best to train them with wild pokemon, I heard that here aren't very strong" he said and looked around to see the grass "What do you think?", his eyes were still looking for wild pokemon in the area, now with partners he was more confident.

Before another word could be muttered a wild pack of Pidgey's descended upon the group.

Aqua felt relief. At least both her new friends (as she hoped she could call them) were up for traveling. Now that she was sure that there was no malice among any of them, she quickly scanned Sizzle. Now, at least her Pokedex had a few Pokemon to its name.

Gold, reinforced by the positive attitudes of all the trainers, including his own, pats Sizzle's head back in response to the hug, doing likewise to Lustitia. Now he too, would have Pokemon friends, just as Blue would have human friends.

His owner seemed to be about to say something about training, but was abruptly cut off by the descent of several Pidgey among the group.

"Ow," she yelped, as one Pidgey pecked her head. Gold had a typical starter set of attacks; scratch, growl, and ember. Nothing, big, but at least they could hopefully defend themselves against the group of Pidgey.

"Gold," she yelled between swatting the Pidgey away and shielding her head, "Scratch!"

Anna was happy when Gold patted Sizzle's head, "Well, at least it doesn't hate Sizzle." She though quite relaxed. She then realized she had made two friends in a new region, and she was proud she didn't have to travel alone, because Sizzle wasn't that much of a conversationalist.

It was then that a group of Pidgey's attacked, although she had no idea what pokemon they were, so she quickly scanned one, and she remembered what attacks Sizzle knew: Tackle, Leer, Ember, and Smokescreen. Nothing that would hurt something that a gym leader would have, but it was good enough.

"Sizzle," she said, "Smokescreen!" and The fire on Sizzle's back lit up, meaning it was ready for battle.

As soos as Roy began to look around and suggested the idea of ​​training with wild pokemon a group of pidgey attacked, his surprise quickly turned into concentration as tried to remember the notes he had just read in the book about battles, the attacks that Iustitia known are tackle, growl and mud-slap, he was about to order the use of mud-slap wwhen he noticed that a pidgey could easily dodge it, "Iustitia, tackle!" the mudkip accelerated and tackled to the nearest pokemon bird, the Pidgey rise again and the used his wings to create a Gust that hit Iustitia, but that was not enough to defeat her, "One more time Iustitia use tackle!" the boy shout with a confident voice, the second attack of the mudkip was enough for the Pidgey wild fell defeated.
Roy was very happy but turned to check on his traveling partners.
