On a small city outside of Rhode Island, the city is an island itself, one of the most prestigious genealogy and hematology programs lie along with a toxicology program. They do many biological studies in this small college, recently though a student has sprawled upon what seems to be a cure for bone cancer, in the form of a virus. The virus didn’t attack a cancer patients body the same way, instead it ate at the cancerous cells, until they were gone. The problem with this virus though, when not inside a cancer patient, it begins attacking everything killing the host. The virus then took over the host body, multiplying and creating all the cells that were formerly there, bring the dead back to life in a state of chaos.

When the virus was first released, it took over the student who created it, he was perfectly healthy and it took him eight hours to die. In that eight hours he had emailed his friend who was coming back from an exchange program in New York. He needed her help in order to make an anti-virus for it. She had a few of the key ingredients needed, she had swapped them from the Pharmaceutical company she had been working at. Taking a late ferry, that was mostly housed by crates, the young girl made it to Rekken late, as the ferry had a few problems. She and the other passengers, one a PI who won’t talk about why he’s there, an irritable captain, and a sea sick reporter, arrive at Rekken twelve hours after the virus has been released. The question is, how many people will be dead, slowly dying, and how long will it be before they come back?
