"Okay I hate giving praise...." Raven started. "But that was definitely incredible, Alex. Nice riffs and rhythms, the lyrics were so deep and emotional...so profound. I thought I was cry....but that'd never happen." She paced excitedly as she talked, grey eyes gleaming with excitement. "It only makes me wonder who or what inspired this song, you know." She plopped down on the bed beside him, beaming. She repeated the chorus, her voice flowing softly yet powerfully, filled with emotion and hitting every note. "Well? What do you think?"

"You really do have a great voice. I don't see why there couldn't be more than one lead singer. If you're really up to it, I'd be honored to have you in the band," he said, grinning at her. "As for who inspired it, it's a bit more of a rough series of events. Those days when life kicks you down, and continues to beat the hope from you? Lots of those." He pulled his sleeves down, covering the scars of two years past. He wasn't proud of what he did, he knew it was selfish and stupid, but he was also glad the scars never disappeared, so he could remind himself of his mistakes, pay for his selfish decisions by worried glances and criticism. His gaze shifted from his wrists back to her, checking to see if she had caught him.

Raven's gaze shifted from Alex to her feet so she could pretend she hadn't seen the scars on him.
"I've had a great deal of those..." She sighed. "People love to mess with me, but they don't ever realize I don't give a car, you know? I've always been the different kid, no matter where I go because I act like myself. No one can do that anymore with courage." She shook her head, shrugging off a couple of childhood memories and finally asked, "I'm sorry, but where exactly did those scars come from?"

Andy went back up to the roof. He had met his favorite person in the world all over again. He was laying down, looking at the sun just above the horizon, beginning to set. He got a little comfertable, and fell asleep. He woke up to the noise of cracking, and he sat up. All around him, the roof was about to cave in, right into the kitchen. And it did. He was sucked under the rubbel and cement, being crushed. But he was still alive, not in pain, no broken bones. But he couldn't breath. A muffled "Help!" Was coming from the debris.

"Oh..um. Rough past, selfish decisions, and a lot of stupidity..." He screamed at himself in his head, angry that whatever friendship they may have had could have been ruined there. "Yeah..." Raven said. She knew he wasn't telling her everything but just as she was about to ask if he could talk to her, she was interrupted by a painful plea for help. "What the hell?" She asked, running to the door, but then she heard it again. "Alex, I think someone's in trouble if you wanna go check it out, but we'd better hurry..." She peaked out the door again and looked back at him, waiting for his answer.

He nodded. Standing, he sprinted along with her to the source of the shouts of 'help!'. Finding a gigantic mass of rubble, he began to yank rocks away - careful not to hit her - and used all the strength he could to move a particularly large rock, the world around him no longer there - his mission to save who was trapped.

"Uhhhh, dude from earlier?" Raven said, looking down and she felt goosebumps on her arms. She picked a bad time to realize she'd never remembered his name. She tapped his back with her foot and frowned. "Dude I think he might be dead.... what are we supposed to do, man! About him, and this??" She gestured to the huge whole in the ceiling and rocks around her panicking. "I can't be caught with this. They'll kick me out because I have to many strikes!"

Her eyes drifted over to Andy who was still lying on the ground. "Do you wanna come or are you hurt?" She let her voice put heavy emphasis on hurt as she remembered his earlier statement about not being to be physically injured.

Collectibles

By creating Collectibles, you can reward your players with unique items that accentuate their character sheets.
