Night, it’s almost silent, only the sounds of the darkness can be heard; the crickets chirp, the owls hoot, and the wolves howl into the darkened abyss.
For me, however, it is different.
In my world, the nightfall means music and dancing, it means that the trees glow with fluorescent lights and the water shines with mottled flowers that look as if they were touched by the sun.
It is a multi-colored world full of luminous plant life and people. Friends, family, enemies, strangers. They are all here, in my nighttime.
In this hidden paradise, the light of the moon brings spirit and adventure, courage that subdues the fright of the dark.
We climb the phosphorus rocks up the mountainside, searching for new places to explore, the dark spots suddenly given a breath of life with the sound of soul.
And yet, even after we have filled all the crevices and scared away the monsters; we continue, amusing ourselves with silly jokes as we trudge along, forever searching to find the dawn.
