War, the very word strikes fear into the hearts of some, and a bitter anticipation in others. No matter were you were or who you are your here now. You posses nothing but the clothing on your back ( or the lack thereof) and the weapon in your hand. You find yourself in a small 5X5 cell, a brilliant red flash is all you remember. Moments later the cell door crashes open and you are forced outward by an invisible force.


Standing in a large field surrounded by stone walls reaching higher then you can see many other people of various shapes and sizes are slowly exiting cells just like yours. Suddenly the ancestral sound of your people rings in your ears, be it the bagpipes, the hunting horns or the war drums upon hearing it your driven into a mad desire to kill everything around you. Then they set you loose.....


Hundreds of warriors from differing cultures and time periods are taken from they're point in time by a mysterious force and pitted against eachother in a giant coliseum. The battle rages from sunup to sundown and the dead are replaced after every battle. There are no rules, no codes, no honor just war.

The survivors of each battle are gifted with time alone or are allowed to commingle in a large feasting hall. your weapons disappear after the daily battle to ensure an absence of casualties in the downtime allowed. A strange invisible force seems to control everything and a booming voice announces the beginning and end of every battle, to some its the deep velvet voice of an emperor to others the savage screaming of a barbarian queen. Its simply known as the voice, could it be what controls everything? Does the way back home lie in its death? Can it be killed? Its up to you to find out.
