Introduction
The Families Curse
For some reason, one unknown, this certain family has unusual powers that skipped generation to generation. These are the elemental powers. This story follows three of those family members, one who holds the power of earth, one who holds fire, and one who holds water. But they aren't the only people in the seemingly tale, no, sometime along they way the picked up someone who is the only outsider they ever let in with their secret, a young girl, around the same age as the three, who even happens to go to school with the two brothers.
Plot
This story starts out with a young girl in Portland who last year lost both her mother and father. Its not unknown to her class mates, as those who knew her at that time remembered her running out of class after a school official told her. But as time passed, she went back to her normal happy, and slightly shy self. No one really knew who took care of her after that. Until one day, one of the boys in her class was concerned when he saw her take a turn onto one of the more run down, rough streets. He followed her, and found her go into a small apartment, where he found her living by herself. He ended up bringing her to his family house, where he lived with his fraternal twin, who the girl knew from school, and his slightly older cousin, who is old enough to act as the care taker as the others don't have parents either. They all took her in, and she lived there with them. (We start the role play by acting all this out.) As the role play progresses, the three end up revealing their powers in some form or way, and become even ore trust worthy of the girl. This role play follows the fours story.

Lokianda sat at her desk, which was placed right beside the large window that peered across the high school campus, upon the second floor. There was a large oak tree that was rooted tall and proud right out in front. Its leaves swayed in the small breeze outside, and she sat there staring at a small squirrel which climbed up higher and higher. Lokianda? The fast paced, twitchy animal soon left her sight as it crawled up higher then she could see. Lokianda. She saw the squirrel all the time in that tree. It was obviously the same one every time, as it had a notch in its right ear. Lokianda!
She snapped out of her day dream daze, and glanced over to the teacher who called name, Ms. Watson. A bit of shock crossed on Loki’s face as she wasn’t paying much attention. “Sorry!” She said, embarrassed as a couple of kids giggled in the back. Her teacher just shook her head, and said “Could you please read the next passage for us?” She simply just nodded her head, and looked down at the book clutched in her hand, Macbeth. She was a little lost at what she was supposed to read, but the girl who sat beside her reached over and pointed it out. Lokianda gave a small smile to her in return.
Clearing her throat, she began. “Whence is that knocking?— How is’t with me, when every noise appals me? What hands are here! Ha, they pluck out mine eyes. Will all great Neptune’s ocean wash this blood Clean from my hand? No, this my hand will rather The multitude-“ The loud ring of the bell cut her off, to her happiness. She really didn’t enjoy reading in front of the class. One, because she didn’t exactly know many of them, second because she was kind of shy.
“Alright class! Read the rest of the act for homework, bye!” Stated the teacher over the hustle and bustle of the kids packing their things. Loki took her time, putting her note book and everything within her messenger bag. Just as she was about to slip out of the classroom along with the other couple of students who doddled back, she heard the teacher ask her to stay behind. Turning around, she approached the neat and tidy desk of her English teacher, and said “I’m sorry I wasn’t paying attention...” feeling actually quite bad about it. The teacher just sighed, and shook her head. “It’s fine. I’m just worried. You have been spacing out a lot. Is this course too simple for you?” She questioned the girl. Lokianada shook her head frantically. “No! I actually enjoy this class very much. I’ve just been tired, I apologize.” She stated, clasping the strap of her bag in her tiny grip. The teacher just eyed her for a moment, before flicking her hand, in which stating Loki was free to leave.
As she made her way down the almost empty halls, she breathed a sigh of relief to be out of class. It was true that she had been tired, but she had just been a little worried as of late. Ever since her parents died in a terrible car crash the year before, she had lived with her uncle and his wife. They were nice, and she loved them, but two months ago they decided they wanted to move to Africa. Loki was invited to join, but she had school to worry about, so they set her up with her own apartment and a monthly allowance they sent her. It was very kind of them, but the place in which the teeny apartment was placed, wasn’t a very pleasant street; one of the rougher ones of Portland. But she was grateful enough. Moving out of the front doors of the school, a bit of the wind hit her bare cheek, and sent a shiver up the girls spine. The outfit she wore didn’t quite seem warm enough.
Leaving the premises of the school, she made the fifteen minute walk to the apartment. There was a way to cut it shorter, but she thought it better to walk in the more public areas, cutting the downtown square. Because of the chilly wind, there weren’t as many people around as there usually was.
Turning the corner onto the street, she picked her pace up to a fast walk until she reached the steps that lead to her apartment door. Walking up the level, she grabbed her key and unlocked the blue door that read “202”, and walked in, shutting it behind her, making sure to lock it back up.
It was a rather barren place; a couch, a table, a small kitchen area, and a wall that separated the bed and dresser from everything else. She really didn’t have many things.
Plopping herself down onto the couch, she rummaged through her bag, and took out the book, beginning to read the rest of the Act that the teacher had assigned for homework.

Another day of school, another day of mischief. This time, Erik decided to pull a prank of one of the school bullies that took a freshman's baseball. The prank went like this: a ball of fire appeared, which was shaped like a baseball, and it kept flying around every which way but loose. The whole ordeal scared the senior half to death. All the while, Erik was able to get the baseball back for the boy, stating, "Let's just say he was 'spooked'." Of course, nobody was hurt; it was all in good fun.
Along the way back home, he remembered the rest of the act he had to read. He loved reading, but the Shakespearean language was a difficult one. Speaking of English class, he saw one of his classmates, Lokianda, going down the street and heading to a more run down area. "What's up with her? Something bad happen?" Pounding his fist into his chest, he said, "Looks like Erik Monroe is on the case!"
Eventually, he followed her to the apartment complex she was staying at. She stays in this dump? Wow... how'd she end up here? There was a tree he could climb up to a window. Once there, he glanced through the window and noticed Loki on a couch in a tiny apartment, which obviously could only hold one person considering the size and space. She lives here by herself!? This side of town has got to be crawling with creepers and stalkers! ... Okay, technically, I am stalking, but not for perverted reasons!
It was while he was stuck in his thoughts that his foot slipped and he fell off the branch. He temporaily recovered, but while jumping to get out of dodge, he slipped, again, and fell on his back hard to the ground. "Ow...."
Along the way back home, he remembered the rest of the act he had to read. He loved reading, but the Shakespearean language was a difficult one. Speaking of English class, he saw one of his classmates, Lokianda, going down the street and heading to a more run down area. "What's up with her? Something bad happen?" Alexander had just reached the door of his medium four bedroom house he thought I can't believe it has been three years already... he tried the door, but it was locked. August and Erik must not be home yet..I hope they aren't getting into too much mischief..he thought casually as he pulled out his key, and unlocked the door. Walking into the foyer he shut the door as he took off his coat to put on the rack as he went towards the kitchen his stomach grumbling softly. As soon as he reached the kitchen he pulled out the bread and some salami for his sandwich stopping sadly to see they were almost out of food "Well guess I need to do some shopping again..those two can sure eat I swear they could eat a horse sometimes."
After his sandwich Alexander went to the living room and started picking up the slight mess from the mornings routine. As he finished the living room he walked past the phone seeing the red voicemail light he sighed I hope it isn't from the principal...he thought as he hit the listen button the soft beep played then a robotic voice played out Thursday, December eighteenth one new message from 1-2-1-8-2-5-6-7-8-9,and then came the voice of the quirky receptionist at the school say "Hello, Mr. Monroe this is Rachel from the highschool I am to inform you of the parent teacher conference that is scheduled for the twentieth of December at two in the afternoon please call to say let us know if that does not work for you."the beep signaled the end of the message and her hit the delete button as he let out a sigh. He walked to the calendar and wrote the time and place of the conference Well at least it isn't another detention call he thought a little happier that it wasnt anything bad.
Alexander finished writing on the calendar, and walked up the stairs leisurely reaching his room with comfort he opened the door a wiff of soil filled his nose, and brought a smile to his lips as he said "Ahh that smell never gets old..Oh! My orchid is blooming!" he walked to the little flower and watched it open slightly with a big grin of victory on his face. "I new these lights would do the trick..." he stood quickly and wrote the time, date, and a small note on his note pad with great enjoyment I really love my jobhe thought before grabbing his book and walking towards the living room to read it until the twins arrived.

Yeah that sounds about right I was thinking they died three years prior to the beginning of the story and moved to Portland when that happened because that was the closest relative who was fit to care for them and because they were quite close when they younger...that's all I could think of to make it more detailed....

Maybe part of the history could be that the twins' parents died somewhere down the line. Plus, perhaps the family is of lower-middle class standing. That is what I could come up with, so far.

You guys can start working on it now, but honestly I'm not so nit picky about all that stuff, so if you just want to get a couple things clear with each other just so you all have an equal understanding on basics, you don't have to go through and write a specific one for your character. Unless you want to, of course.

And this one is set in Oregon.
Also as a side note, once Bella submits her character we can start. Before that although, I was curious as to what twin was going to kinda follow Lokianda to her apartment and bring her to their home. It could be either; even both if you decided upon that.

What's the last name for the twins?
And, where is Portland in? All I can figure out is that there are at least two Portlands in the United States (one in Oregon, one in Indiana (I thought there was one in a State in New England, but could not find one). So, I imagine it is safe to assume Portland is in the United States.

Nope, you can go ahead. But you could also wait until we have the twins reserved so you could mesh all your histories together, but its your choice. ^^
